Originally had my appointment on another day, was easy to create my account and navigate through the online appointment process. Daisy did my pups 1st grooming and she said he did well! I was a little nervous since I just rescued him and didn’t know how he was going to take his grooming. So glad it was a smooth process.

I brought Canela in and it had been a few months since her last grooming due to needing to get her vaccination up to date. The first time we ever brought Canela to get groomed, she was heavily matted, much more than she was this time and the groomer did a beautiful job. I showed our groomer this time that picture as she was not as matted as she had been the first time. When I picked her up she was completely shaved and looked horrible. Everyone who saw her after were horrified by the cut and couldn't beleive it was a "professional cut" or that I even paid for it. I paid before I was able to see her or I would have argued that. I was so upset after seeing her I just wanted to leave.

I have used Petco for a couple of years now. So far have not been disapointed with the results. I was using Pet Smart until they completly shaved my dog and did not call me before.

My pet gets anxious when I leave her, however she settles in when she goes through the gate to grooming area. Devan is great with her and now will change to Regina whom I have watched with other pets and feel she will be great also.

I had a very discouraging visit to the petco store I went to.from entrance to when I left, I will never shop at a petco store again.probably all the employees who are employed at the store I was at, should be terminated.petco should bring back good customer service.

Devon was very personable and she had a wonderful rapport with my dog. The bathing and nail trim and buff was done quite well and Alfie, my dog, didn't seem traumatized in the least. I appreciate how she kept him calm and did a wonderful job grooming him.

My dog looks great. Her haircut is nice and I appreciate that they scheduled her next appointment since I tend to forget to do that. They also gave her a special treat to take home. I used a different groomer this time but Peanut still looks great. I always like the service at Petco.

My dog came back with a cut from what looks to be clippers on his stomach and his haircut was not at all what was requested. The location at Warner and Val Vista never had these problems. I am considering a new groomer all together.Update: the store manager made a half hearted attempt to learn more about my issue. I sent a detailed reply, with pictures, and a week later I still haven’t heard anything back. Not what I’m used to from Petco, very disappointing.

Regina did an excellent job with my 7 month old poodle Duke. Being a puppy he could not have been the easiest to handle but she was amazing! I love his Poodle cut!!

Worst grooming ever.JP was the groomer and when I brought my dog in he said he will have to shave her tail but didn't tell me that would cost more. Also I asked him to trim her nails back as much as possible. He said he will and even told me he would also file the nails again not telling me it would cost more. When I picked her up I noticed her nails were still long. He didn't wash her face or clean her ears and eyes. Needless to say I was not happy with the service.

I took my Lhasa apso mix dog in for grooming. I told the lady checking him in I wanted his tail and ears trimmed about a half inch off and a teddy bear face cut. I got him back 4.5 hours later. No teddy bear face. His tail was cut to almost bare skin. His ears were cut so short I'm surprised he wasn't bleeding because they nearly cut off all his fur. His face had the nastiest trim. It looked like someone used a pair of dull scissors to cut his hair. I paid $48. I will NEVER go back..I want to demand my money back...just might try calling them.

They got my two dogs 🐕 in the same day I called. My puppy had so many knots in her fur and I thought it was going to be impossible to shave her down because she hates even being brushed but they did it. They both look so cute!

Just tried to bring my dog into this Petco location for a nail trim. Nail trims have always been walk in only. You can’t even book only a nail trim on their website (you have to schedule a bath or other grooming services then add on a nail trim). When we went in to the salon they told us we had to have an appointment even though all we wanted was a nail trim and there were no other dogs there. So we tried to call the location to schedule an appointment but they still had the grooming phone lines closed even though it was getting close to 9:15 AM at this point (the groomers open at 9 AM). Seems like someone just didn’t feel like doing a nail trim so they turned us away. Luckily the Petco in Gilbert just a few miles away is still taking nail trims as walk ins and were happy to help us out.

We live in Queen creek and travel 35min from home because the girls here are so good at there job. Not only do they do what you ask but they treat our dog as if hes there's too. What mire could you ask for?

The groomers were good and were wearing masks. The employees in the main area of the store were not wearing masks, were standing in a group talking, not social distancing at all. I am high risk and will not feel safe going in again for a long time. It seems common curtosy for employees to be wearing masks at least for the next few months. It is not really hard, and shows you care about your customers.

Payton is amazing with Buddy. He's always so happy to see her that he practically jumps out of my arms to get to her. On this last visit Payton took the time to fully explain the benefits of the VitalCare program and then assisted me in signing up. If Payton hadn't been there to help I would have given up as the process is quite difficult even though I chose to sign up on the PETCO app. I'm so please that Buddy is always so happy to see Payton and I feel that he's in good hands. I hope Payton never leaves.

Fought a groomer for several hours attempting to get an appointment. When she stopped talking to me I got a message that someone would call me in a couple of hours. It was about 72 hours before my call back came. Didn't need their service then. Poor customer service from that person.

Payton is so good with Buddy and he’s always so excited to see her that I have no worries about leaving him there to be groomed. He’s always so cute when I go to get him, well groomed and happy to see me.
