Every single tank looked like this. Absolutely appalling. I saw one employee the whole time I was in there. Stood at the fish wall and no one acknowledged us which allowed me to take the pictures. The petco we went to before this one the tanks were clean the male employees felt the need mansplain fish to me when I just wanted ghost shrimp for my 30 gallon. If this is how petco feels about fish and how corporate allows standards to look petco shouldn’t sell fish. I’ll keep sharing this.

The only reason this store gets a star at all is because the workers were personable. The store felt cramped and dirty. And not just pet store dirty but just felt really dirty. I bought a bag of treats and got home and opened them and they were FULL of flies. The one cashier that was on the register kept going on and on with the key in front of me and it took me more than 10 minutes to check out. Will not be going back. Hard to see all the flies in the photos I've attached but if you shook the bag they all came out of the woodworks and flew out all over the place 🤮

The new store manager is great ! Previous manager couldn't keep up with the stores demands of keeping shelf stock and inventory put away in a timely manner . Also, the grooming staff is always accommodating with my dog's needs and very friendly.

I had set up a grooming appointment in person, with my dog, the girl, helping me out, was very friendly, very good, looked over my dog, said she would be personally clipping him the next day. She knew it was going to be difficult, told me as much, because you see my dog is a golden doodle who absolutely refuses to be an inside dog. He loves the dirt, He loves the outside, so his hair was a bit matted in a couple spots. All of this taken into account, she was great, and was excited for the appointment the next day. This morning we get a call from someone, not the girl who originally scheduled the appointment, though, saying that if he was “too matted,” they had to send him into a vet for his grooming, but we could still bring him to his appointment to let them see.As soon as I walked in the door for the appointment, and the woman behind the counter identified herself as the one who called, I knew my dog would not be getting groomed that day. She briefly looked him over, and said yeah, we can’t do this. She tried to make some excuse about how it was for my dogs safety, but was incredibly unfriendly, curt, and rude. It very much came across as she was simply lazy, and did not want to be bothered with what would be an admittedly difficult grooming appointment that would keep her at work any longer than she absolutely had to be. It’s really too bad that some bad apples like this woman Can completely ruin the reputation of a place. In the last 24 hours I’ve interacted with at least six different employees at this Petco personally, five of those individuals were great, but this last one was bad enough to warrant the one star review. Hopefully Petco can identify what is a massive problem, and only retain the good, friendly employees

My favorite part about this location is a manager named Jane. She loves working with the animals, and giving them the best care corporate policies allow. She also is great at giving accurate information. Her specialty is the aquarium section, and works tirelessly to keep the store and it's employees together. She should get a raise lol!! The store seemed cluttered and not well laid out or well-stocked. Boxes were piled around the aisles and looked messy. Associates were busy talking at the front of the store as I wandered around trying to find what I was looking for.

Before you read on, save yourself the hassle of dealing with this store and go across the street to The Pet Shop. At this Petco the fish here are all sickly and dying, tanks neglected and filled with algae. If you can find a staff member, they seem inconvenienced by your presence or questions (with the exception of one dude I talked with). Online will say items are in stock, but they will be nowhere in store, and staff claim they are not in stock either.

Their posted hours for Sunday state they close at 7:00 PM. I arrived at the store at 4:55 PM, with an employee watching the front door saying they were closing at 5:00 because of staff shortages. I only had to buy one thing, but they wouldn’t let me in. I won’t be doing business here again.

Last time I went there I tried doing a return and a tall guy with short hair almost buzzed and glasses was very rude. It took him a while to get to me and when trying to process the return he was very rude and told me to go to another location because I didn’t like his attitude towards me. Definitely will go to HR about this. Don’t know how this guy got hired here, he doesn’t want to work and is very rude. He definitely needs to be fired or I will never come back!

Everything was great with the exception of the registers being down, I had to take back my live plants. On my way out, I was told they are working so I grabbed my stuff again and everything worked out. Fawn was super courteous and helpful.

Best experience ever! We went to Petsmart as we always do to get our furbabies food well they were completely out of PPP lamb and rice for sensitive stomach. I asked if they had some in back they said no and didn't even care to look . So we left and went to PetCo . My boy has a very sensitive stomach and he can only eat PPP Lamb And Rice. Anything else causes diarrhea and blood. Unfortunately PetCo was also out and I asked them if they had any in the back they said no but this younger man employee also took the time to look at other stores to see if they had any Unfortunately all are out of stock. So he actually cared enough to take the time to help me find something with the same ingredients and as close as possible to the one we get. We ended up settling for Hills as it's basically the exact same . The fact that this young man took the time to care enough to spend his time to help me knowing they were closing in 10 min and cared enough about my furson to help ment the world to me . I didn't get his name but I hope he sees this and knows I am truly grateful for his kindness and all his help . He deserves a award for best customer service ever. Thank you so very much. MoonStarHeads up PPP and Blue Buffalo are having a shortage just incase people didn't know like me today.

My dog enjoyed her visit to Petco. The staff was very nice and caring towards my dog. It was her first time being professionally groomed. The only thing that bothers me is how the groomer tried to make me feel bad that my dog needed to get the de-shedding package next time because she kept shedding as long as she brushed her. My dog is NOT a high shedding dog. But it is hot and she was nervous. I feel like the groomer was simply trying to get us to pay more next time. I get that she brushed her longer, but she is a dog that doesn’t get a haircut, so that whole part of the grooming is skipped. So what if she needed to be brushed a little more! She also told me that her nails were great and didn’t even need to be trimmed. So no hair cut and no nail trim, but a few extra minutes of brushing should cost more. I don’t think so. If the groomer complains next time, we won’t return to this location.

I had an auto ship order. I tried to cancel, but it had already shipped. When the door dasher delivered it the next day, I decided to just return it.I took it in unopened with my app & email confirmation of the order. I told the older gentleman working the register I'd like to return this, I tried to stop the auto ship, but it was too late. He said, "Oh, do you just want a new bag?" I told him, "Nope, just need to return it." He did not seem happy even a huffing and puffing, and while, he was trying to process the return. He tried to tell me that it had been too long since I purchased it and he couldn't return it. I told him to look at the receipt here it was 2 days ago then he huffed and puffed some more, Finally processing the return but For $20 less than I had purchased it for. I asked him why it was less. He said I don't know, that's just what it says on the computer." I said well I'm gonna need you to get a manager?" Then suddenly he was able to correct it and make it the price I had paid. After he tried to return the money to my debit card and could not, he finally didn't even ask but opened the drawer, pulled out the cash, and handed it to me. He was very frustrated, acting like I was irritating him, and his body odor was atrocious.

I can't say enough good things about this Petco. Their prices are fair. Regina did a fantastic job grooming both of my kitties - which is not an easy task. She was very accommodating and genuinely cared for my pets. Thank you Regina!! We will be back to see you soon.

The dog food always has bugs in it, even after switching brands. We had to stop shopping from this location and we haven't had any issues with finding bugs in the food...until lastnight. We needed dog food and this location is on my husband's way home from work. When he got home and started to pour the food in the food storage container, it was full of bugs. They were everywhere. I've never seen so many inside th bag of food. A lot of the food was all clumped together with what appeared to be silk secretions from the bugs. I just don't understand why the same dog food doesn't have this issue at other stores.

We brought one of our dogs to get her nails clipped. I was very please with the short amount of time it took for the process to be completed, and completed well for $20, including a "material" fee of $0.99. However, you can't pay at that station, so we were forced to wait for someone to actually man the front register. We waited for at least twice the amount of time (over 30 mins) it took compared to bringing in our pet, waiting for our turn, and having the clipping done. Finally, after wasting a great deal of my time, I was happy to pay for the clipper's service. The cashier seem to be bothered by the fact we were there. She asked if I wanted to tip the groomer. I clearly stated 15% would be fine, since the groomer had done a wonderful job, IMHO. I didn't realize until I was home that the cashier gave the groomer a 50% tip! This occurred on 7/3/23, at 12:59 PM. Reg 1, Trans 109048, "Helped" by Shannon. I'm torn when I consider returning. The actually service performed was quick, and efficient. However, the "customer service" received afterwards completely tainted my experience. Otherwise, I would have rated my experience much higher. But not when I paid much more than I was willing to pay.

We rescued this beautiful big boy and had him groomed today. Look how handsome he is! Love this guy already so much! Thanks to Rebecca's and the other girls. You guys are awesome!! I would highly recommend this petco at baseline & power they are so sweet and gentle ❤. Thank you for loving our dog and making him so handsome.

Absolute worst place ive ever been!!! Shannon verbally harassed me because i had to pull down my mask to speak to my mother who is hard of hearing and she KICKED ME OUT. She was just on a piwer trip but i feel harassed and singled out, all because she was having a bad day

The worst most messy store I've ever been too! There were pallets of inventory all over the place. It looks like the shelves have never been organized, a real disaster. I would say the store is hazardous, it was so messy! We had to wait a few minutes at the register before anyone showed up to check us out, so long in fact that we could have walked out with our stuff and nobody would have noticed. Also, it's primarily a dog store, with a small three or four aisles dedicated to cats. The store owners should be ashamed to present a retail store in such disarray!

I visited this PetCo for the first time a few days ago. It was a mess. None of the food was on the shelves, and there were piles of the food deliveries stacked in the aisles of the store. It took me a long time to rummage through the piles of dog food to find the one I was looking for. I was the only person in the store with three people standing at the cash registers talking, and no one offered to help me. I will give this store one more try in hopes that this was a one time thing, but if it’s as bad I’ll find another way to get my dog’s food.
