Called to ask if they had a product I was needing that they sell right in front of the cash register two people got on the phone one said they didn't have it put another person on the phone they said they didn't have it hung up on me when I told him it was an air freshener they just hung up on me I don't think that's very good business and I come here directly went right into the store got it right in front of the cash register and told them this is the guy that hung up on me show him what this is because he doesn't ever gently know what it is and it's right in front of the cash register like I said Not very good business probably won't come back here only reason why I did is because it was getting ready to close and I didn't have time to go somewhere else but I bought the product train your staff better or at least tell them to be more courteous and have a little couth on the phone You might raise your ratings if you care seems like a lot of people don't care about their business anymore or their customer service

The Customer Team is pretty great at this location. Friendly, helpful and efficient. Even at their busiest with equipment not necessarily at 100% they get patrons through quickly and with care. It makes all the difference.

This family dollar is convenient to my house, they placed it in a good location , right next to budget suites , 7-11, and auto zone so it attracts plenty of customers which I am sure is great for business.They carry alot of items like a few it be family dollars don't carry so I never have to worry about not getting what I need or want. The only thing I dislike is they are a bit overpriced with some items , and there is a trashcan right in front of the entry that makes it very unattractive especially when they don't take it out. Other than that it's a good store, with excellent workers.

This has some of the lowest level customer service I have ever had. I asked to speak to a manager. The cashier said what can I help you with. I said nothing you are just a regular worker. I didn't mean any disrespect... I just want to know why the store was so dirty outside. So I wanted to talk to the manager so I could get their name and corporate number. The cashier to me I she was offended because I called her a regular. So she told the store manager what I said. The manager refused me service just because she didn't like what I was saying. I told her it was unprofessional. She said I was unprofessional. When I had my stuff ready to buy also seeing I'm not at work to be professional. The store manager needs to be demoted... also the cashier said if I cared about the outside of the store so much. I can volunteer clean it up. Seeing there was 5 employees in the store. How would that make sense for the customer to do their job. From my perspective and also being a business owner and manager. They all are lazy...

The female cashiers are super nice and polite! However the male cashiers... terrible customer service! There was no "hi,did you find everything okay?" Or "have a good day" this guy shoved 10 items in 1bag and left 1 item in 2 other bags lol. My bag literally tore open which is a pretty big deal for me considering the fact that I have to walk home. It could have taken him just 30 extra seconds ds Poor attitude as well. They really need to up their traiing and stop leaving stools and equipment in the walkway. It's dangerous! Other than that the deals are good at fair prices. Not the worst but certainly not the best

employees are super nice, and i love the wide variety of merchandise for such a small store. it’s super close to me so i can walk over there for pretty much anything i need.they have good prices for some things and are a bit overpriced on other things but overall i don’t have too much to complain about.

Manager is a drunk. Assistant manager I'm pretty sure is the only one who actually has intelligence. He seems to have quit as I have seen him in a while. Good for him. Employee have no idea what's going on. (Probably not being trained) store is a disaster. Everything out of place and most stuff out of stock. Like simple stuff thumb tacks and such you know basic stuff FAMILY dollar should be carring in stock. Why is the manager always drunk and working. I can always tell when he is cause he's loud smells like beer and stables around not knowing what's going on. 6x a few days ago he made trips to get change for the cashier up front. 6x he forgot what he needed from the back. Y'all are crazy keeping a drink on the job.Sabrina is cute though. So the second star is only cause of her.

It used to be a great shopping experience but now it's screaming and yelling in the store from the workers. No manners what so ever. Kicking out a lady because her payment didn't go through the last time she was in and threatening the cops on her. The workers are even taking and making phone calls on their phone. It is really sad when you see something like this. I stood at the register for almost a full minute before someone came to check me out. Very disappointed in how this store has turned out recently.

Use to be a 5 star but now its a 2 star. To check out the line is to long, always I checker and usually manager is just standing there doing nothing, empty shelves, Stock sitting in isles, merchandise doesn't match the price label. Parking lot always has trash and its not lit up enough at night. I could go into that store and within a week have it back in shape and customers wouldn't have to wait in long lines and everyone that walks through that door would be acknowledged.

I got Kicked out, wrongfully at this store! The manager, didn't ask what the problem was she just butted in. I saw a carton of cigarettes, behind the counter, behind a tag that said $3+.I asked the cashier if the price is right? She never checked, just rung them up, in good faith, I thought they could be priced at that. The mashine NEVER showed my total, it went straight to my pin. I put it in, and looked at the receipt. It said the pack was $7+. (In my mind I could get them cheaper at 7-11.)I never even touched the pack ( they were in the cashier's hand the whole time).When the manager snapped in, she said " sir, if the mashine doesn't show you the total, IT'S NOT OUR PROBLEM!I asked about the cigarettes that where in the same spot, showing the wrong price. I said will you refund my cigarettes, I never touched them (I never left my spot in the store) the manager said very RUDELY, We never do a return on cigarettes, ( she said it three annoying times). She told be I wasn't welcome there in "her" store anymore.I have been going there since the store was built!I checked with the manager at 7-11, she said "the mashines are required to show the total, and as long as a customer doesn't leave the store, a refund can and should be given. This is a very poorly skilled manager. He customer service is well below any standards for any business wanting to make money. I have never been treated so terrible. I expect an apology and an unbanning. If not, I just flood social media, like this, of how THIS DOLLAR STORE STEALS MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS, AND NO ONE WANTS TO BE TREATED WITH THIS MANAGERS POOR SKILLS. I'd check the books, she'll lie about the encounter, I would fired her on the spot.

I have filed a complaint with corporate and heard nothing back. The store manager who is frankly a 50 something ex gang member/con followed me outside of your store to try and pursue confrontation and violence and your company is lucky she was too slow and went in the wrong direction after I asked to have a conversation with her. I did this because she had her employee stand at the register with her and have virtual court for his son on speaker on the sales floor discussing drug history and etc. when I approached Vinny my cashier I explained how uncomfortable it was and he apologized but stated Vanessa would not allow anything else. I asked if he’d like me to say something about this coming from the customers behalf and like a beaten dog this grown man said yes please. Once Vanessa was aware of a problem she began to get confrontational and the rest is in my complaints.

I understand that pricing is going up. It's happening everywhere to everyone. The fact that this location failed to re-price anything, but is forcing you to pay more for each product without that acknowledgment is unacceptable. FALSE ADVERTISING you might say, I love dollar stores and well if it's a 1.25 now or whatever I get it. When products have set pricing on them you can't just mark it up because you want to. You flush the old stuff out and switch it over when new inventory is placed on shelves. Now I'm not saying don't go to dollar stores, but I am suggesting against this one. Unless you like shopping without having any idea what your spending on anything until your already checked out. (What they say vs. What you've been reading on each different product)

This store just started selling beer. The beer is always warm and tastes stale. And not to mention the staff are really slow. There can be a line out the door and there will only be one person at the cash register and 3 other employees walking around the store. Customer service at this family dollar is a joke

The be honest, I expected better deals here. If you compare prices on Walmart they're the same. If there is a difference, it's just pennies. Some larger things seem pretty pricey to me (pictures, storage drawers, towels, etc.), but I'm also pretty cheap. 😂That's not to say deals can't be found though. Pretty much anything I saw with a small red price sticker (clearance I'm assuming) was a pretty killer deal. (I got 3 bottles, about 80oz, of name brand dish soap for $3 total)BONUS: It's much more convenient than dealing with a big box store like Walmart. Fewer people, easier to get in and out, less traffic, etc.Plus, the have the best bonus of all: super friendly staff. I met the manager who was absolutely wonderful and kind to a disabled customer who was in the store and my cashier was just lovely. She checked and double checked my clearance prices to make sure I didn't get overcharged.I will be back and I definitely recommend this location.

This is by far the worst store in AZ.My actual rating is -90000000A careless cashier messed up a transaction to the point my bank account has been locked for two weeks.The food is never fully stocked, the water machine is always broke and most nights you’ll encounter police standing at the front door with someone hand cuffed causing a scene.They just hire anybody off the street.I will NEVER return.This store needs to (shutdown)

Horrible customer service. Founds some gaming headphones here and before I purchased them I asked the staff what the return policy is and was told as long as I have the receipt and it’s with 30 days they could be returned. With that being told to me I bought the headphones. My son ended up not liking them so the next day I took them back and a staff member named Mrycle came up told me that electronics would not be returned. Tried to explain that I was told differently by the staff. She rudely said well.. I don’t know why they would say that but I’m not returning it. Threw the headphones in a bag, handed them to me and walked away. Very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. This family dollar really needs to train their staff to be professional and have customer service skills.

I've been coming here for months have been carded by EVERY employee at least twice and when ever I leave my ID at home they magically want to card me, but the 10 year old in front of me that just bought a pack of Newport's didn't get carded? Like really just go to 7-11 more convenient and they don't waste my damn time!

I’ve shopped at many Family Dollar’s in the valley, so I know they all have customer restrooms. When I was pregnant, I specifically went shopping here that day, thinking I wouldn’t have to worry. Being pregnant is rough and you have to go a lot, there isn’t much control. Of course, as I was shopping, it hit me and I went back to their customer restrooms, but they were all locked. I thought okay, I’ll try to rush and waddle to the front because I need a key. I get up to the front (by the way, I was on restricted activity, so it was hard to even walk around) and they tell me they don’t allow anyone to use the restrooms. I begged them, I told them I was pregnant and they said sorry, no. I was in tears and in pain, they didn’t care, no exceptions. I just left my cart full of stuff at the front and my boyfriend had to rush me out of there to the QT up the way, almost didn’t make it. I obviously finished shopping somewhere else that day. I just don’t understand how any business could do that to someone who is pregnant, they are the only Family Dollar in the whole valley I’ve been to that doesn’t allow customers to use the labeled and available customer restrooms. Forcing a pregnant woman to leave to just use the restroom is heartless! Don’t shop here. There are at least two other Family Dollars in the area who actually care about their customers. I shopped at the other two the remainder of my pregnancy (Mesa Dr. & Southern/Baseline & Extension - both fantastic CS). I’ve never left a bad review in my life, until now.

Every time I go in this location the cashier is always eating and talking to friends she has made me stand there waiting while she finish her chips and talk to her friend. The last time I asked if she enjoyed her job and she said hell no would you. Well I actually loved going to work when I worked at Dollar General . But I can assure you that my employees were not standing up at the register ignoring customers and eating chips and the cussing is out of control.I also went to return the bluetooth speaker we bought and my phone hooks up but the speaker keeps beeping and stopping the music. This is the 3rd exchange on this and now i font want an exchange its obvious the junk dont work but they refused to let me just get my money back they will only let me do another exchange. I am not gonna bring this back every 3 weeks family dollar is not friendly they need to find out why in thr bell the speaker dont work right

I just went tonight @845pm since they close at 10 and there’s a note on the door saying “Stores closed, system is down. Sorry.” But it was strange that 2 paying customers had just walked out with goods and I saw a few people inside shopping? Seems like a lame excuse to get off early!

A Dollar Store That's Not The Cheapest 🤔? Yep, You Guessed It...Walmart Wins Again! However, Some Brand Items Were Cheaper + Clearance Racks. On The Real Tho, This Day Everyone Appeared Stressed. Tidiness/Organization Was Visibly Apparent, Maybe Suggest Different Inventory Days...We Dislike Hustling Over Clutter 🤪. I Did Receive Warm Welcomes & A Closing Of: "Have A Nice Day!" Went in to get sparkling water, dirty store, garbage stocking and conditioning. Older man stocking shelves was slow as tar, followed me around just cause I have tattoos. Asked to use the restroom, cut me off in mid sentence saying they didn't have a public restroom. Then don't have a sign on the door trashball.

Employees like to follow you around the store as your shopping, stalking you the entire time your in there. I've been going here for over 6 months and they do this every single time I go in there. It is extremely insulting and uncomfortable. Unacceptable for a company to behave this way towards customers. On another note: employees take up entire aisles and will not move regardless of requesting them to move. Lastly, they are never stocked. Worst store in Mesa yet.

No question regarding the friendly staff. They understood the need to park my mountain bike inside the store as there is no bike rack or place to kock bike outside. But when the guy just walked in 12 ft grabbed my bike and the clerk yelled out " some guy is taking your bike" I would hev expected them to be able to find the phone, and that it would be charged. As I wasted valuable time trying to get the dead phone to work to call the police, the theif was already gaining ground in his get away. The clerk should have had a working phone right next to him in case of any emergency. I didnt expect him to try and stop the guy but, unable to find the business phone, and when he did it was dead? really? What if it had been a real threat, or what someone would consider an actual emergency ? KEEP YOUR STORE PHONE ACCESSABLE, ON THE CHARGING DOCK PLEASE, NO ROOM FOR EROR IN TODAYS WORLD.

THIS FAMILY DOLLAR STORE IS A TERRIBLE BUSINESS, THEY WORK LIKE THEY LIVE THERE AN WHEN THE LINES BECOME LONG CASHIERS HAVE ISSUES CALLING FOR HELP AN INSTEAD OF DOING JUST THAT ARGUING WITH CUSTOMERS SAYING”I HAVE NO HELP” WHILE MANAGER “MATTHEW” is stocking watching the lines pile up as we speak, comes to the front states I should leave after the cashier refused to do his job right an raising his voice at me for speaking on it. It’s 2020 some of us have a pretty good social media following an can magnify this! I am not your average paycheck to paycheck citizen who lets this slide. Exposing this place for the bigotry!

This place is so dirty & disorganized. Boxes & boxes of stuff everywhere. Crack head employees....I saw 2 women stealing makeup and the cashier just act like he didn't see it...WE BOTH SAW THEM!!! I will not be spending my money at Family Crackville
