This store is amazing!! I took my son there to learn more about birds and overcoming his fear of them and they were all amazing!! So patient with my son and teaching him about the birds while we were there!

Absolutely love this place! Kid friendly just make sure an adult is carefully watching.The Arizona Bird Store has got to be one of the coolest Birds stores in Arizona! I have been many times and each time has been a special time. Be sure to be respectful to the birds. Ask staff what is appropriate to do. The bird room was a superb experience! Be sure to read all of the signs before entering. You can bring your own fruit and feed them but be sure to do research before hand or ask an employee. The employees are very knowledgeable and compassionate about all of the birds. Another word of advice would be sure to wear longer sleeves just in case. It is a louder environment depending on the time of the day. This is a semi handicap accessible place but there are some tight spaces please keep in that in mind. Calling ahead of time is always a plus. They sell all of kinds of cafes, food, toys and etc for the birds.

Best bird store!! I got my extremely social cockatiel here. He has only been with us a few days and loves being out of his cage. The store even does a 5 day follow up to ensure the bird is healthy. We haven’t reached the 5 day mark yet and he’s already an amazing bird. I will definitely be returning

I absolutely love this store. I’ve adopted my macaw here, picked up everything from walnut shells, perches, toys to chop. Every single timeI come in, everyone makes the trip nice. Friendly and make me feel very welcome. And they always always take the time to get out birds for my little kids to hold. I’ve also had really good luck with picking up some toys on clearance

Staff is always kind and helpful. Debbie takes care of my little guy every time I need him trimmed. She's very knowledgeable and always takes the utmost care when grooming. I've been here several times and definitely recommend this spot.

This store is impressive! They have everything you could possibly need for bird care. Whether you are a newbie or a long time bird owner, they have what you need. The employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. The store is organized and clean.

Went last week and we were very disappointed. The staff was uninviting and rude. The store was disgusting. Webs and dust/dirt throughout the store. The fake foliage in all of the cages look like they have years worth of filth all over them. The birds didn't even look happy. We actually found a bird through a private breeder and so glad we did.

It's a little hectic in there but they know their stuff. I originally went in for a ringneck and after realizing it wasn't a good match for me the worker helped me find a bird I liked and took her time to tell me all about him. Even let me hold him as I checked out the other birds. Very happy with my feathered friend, and they made me feel very comfortable leaving knowing I could call if I had any concerns. Gave vet info and groomed him before we left!

Very beautiful birds!! Arizona bird store has everything you need related to birds. I like just to look at birds and say hi to them. The emu is cool so goofy!! It’s a fun store to just stay a while and just admire the beautiful birds. I think you’re going to love the Arizona Bird Store!!

The birds are clean and healthy, they have energy and you can tell the staff really loves them. Plus they have a ton of toys and spacious cages.Update years later my mom got her baby Sun Conure here. Best day ever! 💓

I love this place originally we were trying to bring our daughter to see birds and instead we found a delightful little place where we could get the birds to come to us .. sweet lady that’s runs it bought a membership for my mother in law and bird seed and a feeder for me and a life time to replace anything that breaks we of course be returning..

This little shop gets in some amazing birds. The staff helped me get a wonderful shoulder companion: Mercy the Albino Cockatiel. The staff gave me pointers to take care of my little feathered friend. Bird supplies here are also reasonably priced, the store offering deals of discounted seed with the presentation of their container. Amazing place!

Store is very filthy. There were dog feces on the floor and two large dogs loose behind the counter.All the items are overpriced and covered in dust and dander. Items are not safe to bring home to your birds due to contamination from the numerous other birds that share the same airspace.Bulk food is stale and full of seed moths.Majority of water sources in cages were dirty or empty and several birds looked unwell.

Drove an hour to check out the store.. walked in no other customers… multiple employees saw us looking around as if we were lost making it pretty obvious we needed help. Not a single person said a word to us…

Took my sons "green cheeked conure" there to have his wings and nails clipped, they did a great job at a very reasonable price. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, they also have a room with many different birds moving around freely that you can interact with.

I have always had rescue birds, but was unable to find a rescue cockatiel so I decided to purchase one. I thought he was a bit overpriced, but after having him nearly 6 months now he is worth every penny. He is super healthy and happy, a great companion! Their selection of toys and food are also great - my birds choose their toys over everyone else’s toys.

The store is beautiful and always has numerous birds to watch and interact with. The food is fresh with a huge variety. Debbie (owner) is kind, gentle, and always has time for my questions or concerns. In fact, every single person who works there has been great. I feel fortunate to have Arizona Bird Store to bring my parrot to for grooming and food.

Everyone here is amazing and willing to teach and help in any way they can!! I've gotten toys, a cage, supplies, and even my cockatiel from here! They offered a home for my budgie and shes now happy in their free flying cage! I love interacting with the birds here and learning as much as I can!

Gretchen is amazing and so is her daughter. It's family owned and they make you feel as though you're part of the family. Bought a blue quaker and not sure if it's a boy or girl because the DNA hasn't come back so it's either Lou or Lulu. Great experience

Today I took my African grey there to have her beak and nails trimmed and the lady who did the grooming was very rude. She grabbed her out of the cage and did the grooming. Then when she was done she basically threw her back in the bottom of the cage and tore the towel off of her. She then walked out of the room without saying anything to me. I then walked up to the desk to pay and told the lady there what happened and she just wanted the $25. On the way home I noticed she had a small cut above her right eye where the aggressive filing of her beak hurt her. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BIRD THERE IF YOU LOVE THEM! It was traumatizing for her and me. I will never be going there again that’s for sure!

Got my cockatiel here a few months ago. The staff is a bit light, but I've had nothing but great experiences during my visits. They treat all their birds like family and I feel I received a quality bird that adapted very well to my home. It's a healthy and lovely little fellow.

Purchased my female normal grey cockatiel from this lovely store. They let me handle the babies and choose the perfect tiel for me. Almost every baby I've handled at this store was loving. Almost a year later my ganymede is still all snuggles and love. Would 100% recommend.

Debbie, the owner, is so knowledgeable about birds. I took my Blue and Gold Macaw, my Double Yellow-Headed Amazon, and my African Grey in for grooming! Debbie always does such a great job with them! I always learn something new from Debbie each time I visit. Great experience and a great store!

Such an awesome store! I like to take my kids to look at the birds. They have a room where you can walk in and there are free range parrots and macaws everywhere. It is very cool. I'm honestly terrified of birds but this place makes me feel really comfortable and in awe of the beautiful birds. Some of them even talk! I don't own a bird but they do have a large selection of toys and food for all different types of birds. Definitely worth checking out

Love this place. Come here almost every Sunday, staff isnt in your face, but are helpful and kind when needed. Real chill, good bird supplies, and cheap cages in the front. All around a cool place
