We stayed in one of the "vintage" rooms in the "200" building that has not been remodeled. The first one they assigned to us had a broken toilet. The second one was missing half of the vertical slats of the blind that was supposed to cover the sliding glass door (there was no curtain). We would have upgraded to a modern room, but they said that they didn't have an available one. The room that we did stay in had a working toilet and most of the slats in the blind, but everything in it was old and very used. There were dead leaves covering the patio outside. We couldn't wait to get out of there the next morning. And they charged $170 for this decrepit room!

Recently stayed at the Lodge for a kayaking trip with friends at Lee's Ferry. The renovated rooms are very nice, clean, and comfy. I would highly recommend adding a basic coffee pot and small hotel fridge/freezer for customer convenience.Walkability: Walking distance to Navajo Bridge

I had mixed feelings about booking based on the reviews. My expectations were dialed down. As you approach the lodge, the vermillion cliffs are a stunning backdrop to behold. We arrived near sundown…I’d recommend that time of day for maximum visual effect. The lodge is under some renovation at present. Not sure how many rooms have been renovated and there was no visible activity on the rooms; however, The restaurant at the lodge was closed and under heavy renovation. They recommended another place up the road called cliff dwellers. That place turned out to be kinda awesome in its own right. Our rooms were 308/309 and both were quite nicely redone. Those rooms face towards the Navajo bridge that is nearby, but you can’t see it from the lodge. Still very close by.All in all, we were pleased with the accommodations and limited service we required. The rooms could use a little attention regarding loose screws and such, but nothing broken or concerning. Very cozy and quiet and clean. My expectations were met and surpassed and got great value for my dollars. If you are a needy traveler and require lots of pampering and concierge services, I’m afraid this isn’t for you.If you like quaint, quiet, and nicely updated for a very fair price, I highly recommend this place. It’s very remote and in a beautiful location and the owners seem interested in making it nice.

I cannot give 0 starts so I have to give one. During my two-night stay (22-24 Dec 2023) with my family at this apartment, our experience was highly unsatisfactory. The issues included misleading information regarding WiFi availability, lack of staff support after 8 PM with no emergency contact , communication breakdown during working hours, safety concerns due to improper window security, inadequate response to a restroom flood due to no maintenance person in property for holiday, and poor alternative accommodation provided. The overall experience was marred by these problems, making our stay unpleasant.

I recently stayed at this property for two nights ( 22-24 Dec 2023) with my family and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Here's a detailed account of the issues encountered for everyone to review before making reservations:1. Misleading InformationThe property advertised WiFi availability during booking on OTA website but we were disappointed to find poor signal zones, and the promised WiFi was not provided.2. Lack of SupportAfter 8 PM, there was no staff support as their office closed, and no emergency contact number was provided, leaving us without assistance in case of any issues.3. Communication BreakdownDuring working hours, attempts to reach the staff failed due to non-functional phone lines, and despite their awareness, the issue persisted throughout our two-night stay.4. Safety Concerns:The property lacks basic safety measures, windows were improperly secured, posing a security risk as anyone could easily enter the apartment.5. Inadequate Response to Issues:Our restroom flooded one night, and the staff's solution was impractical – handing over keys to another apartment at 8 PM, without addressing the root cause.6 Poor Alternative Accommodation:The alternative apartment provided had evident damages, which we documented to avoid being held responsible for pre-existing issues.Overall experience is very bad for us.

It sounds like some rooms have been renovated. The ones we had were not. We had 2 rooms. We had to change one because sections of the blinds were missing and there were dirty towels in the shower. The rooms were quite small, and kind of junky looking. We're not high maintenance by any means, but we expected more for the money. The people were very nice and the restaurant was fine. The location is great, as we had to drop off a shuttle vehicle at Lees Ferry.

The newly remodeled rooms were just okay. Beds and pillows are stiff. Blankets are itchy. The bathroom mirror had wires showing (popping out from the back). Our shampoo / conditioner bottle in the shower was empty 😅 🙃 Toilet paper is rough. Staff wasn't very friendly. We'd say good morning, have a great day, thank you...The pleasantries were not well received. It was awkward, to say the least. There was one table and two chairs outside our room which tended to relocate depending on which room wanted to use it. Personally, the lodge would be better suited to offer every room their own table and chairs to sit outside and enjoy the sights. Will consider going back but, may consider a different spot nearby if things don't improve.Suggest adding a pool and a bar / lounge for patrons.Rooms: No fridge. Bathroom door slides open on its own. No smart tvs to comnect to Netflix or Prime. I love to relax after being on the river all day and watch a movie or go swimming / hot tub and enjoy a cocktail.

We came here for our wedding anniversary. I always have wanted to stay here because the area is so remote and beautiful. I knew the lodge would be rustic, but to my surprise it is being redone and we got a new room. It was clean, comfortable and cute. The staff was super friendly and I am so glad we chose this place for our anniversary.

We were travelling from the Grand Canyon North Rim and needed accommodation. Found Marble Canyon but there was only one place to stay. I was super hesitant thinking it’ll likely be a dive. To my surprise, the Lodge had just finished Reno’s last week. The rooms are fantastic! Barn door on the bathroom, huge shower, sooooo nice! Highly recommend this as a stopping spot as you travel through Arizona.

FRAUDI’ve stayed at Marble Canyon Lodge over a dozen times. Unfortunately this was my last stay. Extra charges totaling more than $500 were made on my card. While the manager agrees that these charges aren’t correct, she says she can’t locate the charges and is thus unwilling to refund—despite providing abundant evidence. It’s been a month and they still have yet to refund the incorrect charges. They’ve also suddenly ceased communication. I’ve had to dispute these charges with my bank and I hope that they get taken care of.No one should have to fight this hard to get refunded for completely erroneous and fraudulent charges.I’ll be happy to remove this review once Marble Canyon makes this right and refunds me for their mistake.

We ended up at this restaurant after the bathrooms at the gas station a couple doors down were closed to the public. So we decided to take our business elsewhere (pun intended). All 8 people in our group ordered goodies from here. And to our amazement and pleasure we discovered the Indian Fried Bread Sundae. WOW! It was giant and tasted amazing. So glad we stopped and enjoyed this treat! This restaurant is a hidden gem in the beautiful Marble Canyon.

Had a newly renovated room that was clean and spacious. Fit our needs exactly for a paddle the next day on the Colorado. Room was cool despite triple digit heat. Really great basic lodging with friendly staff.

The amazing aspect, the view is stunning we had one of the south facing apartments which had great views of the surrounding cliffs and watched the sun set then the moon rise. The bad (and reason for 2 stars)It isn't made clear however the apartments are cooled by 'swamp cooler' or 'evaporative cooling' it was running when we arrived however it didn't put a dent to the heat it was 104 when we arrived and 103 when we went to sleep it had dropped 92 in the morning because that was the temp outside. The kitchen was poorly equipped and didn't have enough cutlery and crockery for our group.Furniture was poor standard and in the case of the sofa broken. We had another person in our party stay in the either new or renovated single rooms and it was neat & clean with air-conditioning but lacked even a bar fridge.Overall the apartments need a decent refurbishment and modernisation to bring them in line with what they are charging. While there is a level of 'rustic' that is acceptable this place crosses the line and hides behind it as an excuse.

The area is beautiful! The room was clean. But there wasn't any A/C and we were there in the middle of the summer. They use a swamp cooler. They don't run the swamp cooler until you get there and go into the room. Even with the cooler running it was over 95 degrees in the room. Horrible night sleep and when I complained they just shrugged their shoulders. Not even a sorry! I would never recommend anyone to stay at this place!

I dunno… I have fond memories of this area going back years, and now that camping has become more of a logistical challenge, I’ve taken to staying here instead.Friendly folks, but this place may have finally crossed the line with me. The rooms are - at best - on par with a Motel 6. Fine, because the location is fantastic! But this go around I was sleeping next to a glass door with broken (unclosable) blinds, had to hunt down and kill a half dozen buzzing flies, scraped a dead lizard out of the sliding door tracks, and found a bug that looked suspiciously like… a flea. I could get over all of this, had I not been charged $200 for the room for one night! The meal wasn’t particularly good, either.I don’t think I’ll be back next year, which just makes me kind of... sad.I hope the renovations catch up with the price.

The doors are NOT secure! The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The ice they allow per guest only amounts to 2 ice cube trays! Limited access for phone or computer use.The attached restaurant is EXCELLENT! The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely due for upgrade of secure doors and facilities.

Rustic and real. Rooms are simple and clean. Restaurant has good service and warm food. Even the gas at the Chevron is not crazy expensive today. Close to Lee's Ferry and the Navajo 🌉, if you take this place on its own terms, the experience is fine.

When traveling, we like to stay in rustic, out of the way lodging. Marble Canyon Lodge was just such a place. It reminded me of places we would stay on vacation when growing up. This is a basic hotel. Our room had a bed, nightstand, armoire/TV stand and a chair, plus a bench for luggage in the bathroom. Good towels and water pressure in the shower was nice. It was a small room, but it fit our needs for a good night's sleep. Having the restaurant next door was an added bonus. The views from the lodge are amazing! And being by the Navajo Bridge was a fun experience, to be able to walk across the Colorado River. We would definitely stay again.

To be clear, the lodging facility here at Marble Canyon is fair. I say that because anyone with a rational sense of hotel/motel amenities would agree. Comfort, cleanliness, aesthetics are all just fair here. I hate to say it, but even borderline dirty. The location obviously is 5 ⭐️ which is why most people including myself stayed here. It’s a convenient Lee’s Ferry stopover. The food at the restaurant is satisfying, convenient and much appreciated after a long day.

First off...loved this place. 2nd...yes its aged and some of the furniture shows it (why it lost a ⭐️) 3rd...it has different room types so my review describes our room set up. 4th...We came in mid october with perfect weather. This place is rustic and charming in its own kind of way. Come here for rustic...dont come expecting the fanciest, and newest, and cleanest. It was clean, but also some dust and older cabinets. Our room had a nice sized queen bed (actual queen sized..not "hotel small queen"), firm mattress, full kitchen with full sized refrigerator, older cupboards and counter top, dishes, pots, pans, full oven, and a microwave (perfect for longer stays). The bathroom was nice and big with an open closet area. It had the SW/Native American vibe with good wood decor (bed, bathroom, dresser) and a beautiful Native American styled blanket. The bathroom and a small bar counter top had some beautiful glass/tile decor which added to the SW vibe of the room. The floors were wood laminate which matched the SW vibe as well.I wished I had taken photos of the inside of the room. It was a one night stay during an anniversary week in the Lake Powell region. We stayed here for one night, our final night, after a long but great day of kayaking/fishing from Horseshoe Bend to Lee's Ferry (see other review for "Kayak Horseshoe Bend"). It was a great stay here at Marble Canyon regardless of the occasion!!! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.Next door they have the restaurant, gift shop, tackle shop, with a good book selection of the area's history, people, and places. Also a little further next door is Navajo Bridge, great views, Navajo artistry for sale, and you can see endangered California Condors residing in the canyon.

Small rooms, the hallways smelled kind of old. They woke us up at 8 am for room service that we didn't ask for, so make sure you put out your do not disturb sign overnight. The room was clean, and the beds were a bit firm but comfy. They are pet friendly, which was much appreciated. There was a large gravel area in the back to take the dogs for a potty break. Fulfilled out needs for our trip, but not too impressed. The staff were friendly.

This review is for the restaurant. I asked my server to use the wifi, and he said I would need to get the password from the front office because they aren’t allowed to know it. So, I asked the front for the password, and they wouldn’t give it to me because I was only eating at the restaurant and not a guest at their hotel. The server was nice, the food was gas station quality.

Staff was nice. Room was ok, if dated, but the bed was pretty hard (some Walmart pillow tops would be a cheap and easy solution) and no mini fridge (would have been nice to keep some trail food chilled overnight... Little dorm fridges are pretty cheap). Hard to beat location for the price though. 4 stars overall, but 3 for the room... 1 off for the fridge, 1 off for the hard bed... Feels fair.

Located next to Vermillion Cliffs, it's one of a few places to stay. It's also the best located and includes a restaurant and a gift shop. Nice part is there are only a few lights around, and then darkness. Great for star viewing, and convenient to Lee's Ferry where rafting trips head off to the Grand Canyon. Great for an overnight before departure with a good meal too! Page is right up the road, with Horseshoe Bend on the way, and Glen Canyon Dam a bit farther north. The lodge has been around for awhile, so it's basic, but enough. This area is all about the spectacular scenery, and is off the main road and therefore removed from high traffic. Exploring the local area makes one feel quite small, surrounded by the huge rocky features. The road south along the Cliffs goes through more beautiful rocky areas and changing terrain.
