We love this place. The largest Fry's in the area. There are a lot of organic options as well and fresh fruits and veggies are great. We signed up for membership so that gives better discounts as well. Overall an awesome place for shopping groceries and other essentials

I am unsure why, but the attitude and customer service at this Fry's is the worst! I shop at three different Fry's locations and it seems like every time I go to this one, which has a couple of specific products the others don't have, an employee has either a bad attitude or treats me like an inconvenience. I asked a produce person where the shallots were, normally I find them next to onions, he points in a vague direction and tells me, "they are RIGHT there", as if I am blind. Nicholas who works in Customer Service and runs the Self Check seems to think it is ok to make snide comments under his breath about me, while I am close enough to hear him! The specialty cheese counter is pretty useless, every time I ask them to cut me something, they tell me it will be 15 minutes, because they are doing something else right now. I am not in the store for 15 minutes. I will say, they guy who seems to be in charge of the cheese counter is better, but the ladies that work in that area never seem to want to help me.Beyond the people this store recently installed some one way gates. Thy are just in the way, and create a bottleneck. Take them out!

Came in with gift cards to make a 300 purchase. The cashier tried but had no idea how to ring them up called the front end manager and he made a couple of attempts and said there was no value on the cards that Frys just sent me for redeeming my reward pts. Knowing that wasn't true I called the number on the back of the card and sure enough there was $75.00. How does a manager not know what to do. He didn't even try. Someone needs more training.

You'd think we were back in Covid times. Went to Frys on Monday & Friday and both times the store was out of products. Produce had empty cases. I have gone to Safeway and other Frys and non of them look like this store on Thornydale. So very disappointed in this store.

This is a big store with extra aisles of clothes and housewares. It's clean. My only issue is that they placed the pharmacy at the far end of the store which isn't very convenient. It has a large variety of goods but wear your walking shoes when to come.

The store has become worse with time. The isles have too many displays blocking access, adding to the problem is numerous shopping service people and then on top of the problem they are stocking the store at the same time.

This is one of the nicer stores due to its location. There's typically 2-5 people in every line so buckle up for the 15 minutes or more that you'll be waiting to check out.

So we stopped by to get some last minute food items since everywhere else closes early are not open. This place has everything you need if you live in the area or from out of town. The staff are super polite. Come by for a quick shop.

I shop at this location on a regular basis at least twice a week. I cannot believe I was in the store today and out of approximately 15 items I was overcharged on at least half. It is not an oversight this is flat-out cheating their customers! Example I purchased a pound of hamburger meat that was $4.97 clearly marked and the employee argued with me saying no it was $5.99. I had to physically go back there and get a picture and speak with the manager in that department on duty to get the posted price. A package of cookies clearly marked $3.99 in bakery I get home and see I was charged $4.99! Other items I was overcharged for were over a dollar each! When I say they're stealing from their customers it is because not one employee took the initiative to make any changes. They just shook their head and laughed when I said is somebody going to make that change in the system for other customers? A gentleman with pink hair in the self-checkout that is supposedly helping customers is extremely rude and disrespectful and the last person that needs to be in that position. It's not the first time he was rude and very unhelpful. All I can say is be very careful and pay attention to what you're being charged.

Store has changed from when I first started shopping here. I am reluctant to buy produce unless I am using it that day because it goes bad quickly. Often times produce is out that should be discarded. Meat has been bad the same day I had purchased it.Getting service in the deli is always awkward. I have usually been made to feel like I am interrupting the workers day. One time the lady behind the counter got mad at me for not hearing my number called.I am partially deaf in my right earShelf checkout is a nightmare and the lady watching/helping is rude and makes you feel stupid for needing help. I don’t come here to get lectured on how to use self checkout.Have given up on using pickup the times are always wrong.Hopefully the new one being built with be better.

I love this Fry's store! They have a great selection, it's nice and clean. I can't walk well, so they have the motor carts and enough of them. They have clothes, shoes, all kinds of stuff. Nice stuff! I love this store so much I don't want to shop at any other store!

Been living on this side of town for over 40 years and never thought I'd see a ghetto food store right up the road? Those new and pathetic security doors are a joke and immediately knocks the store down a few pegs when you walk in.

Best Fry's in the Oro Valley/Dove Mountain area. It's huge and they have a great selection. They even have an area where they sell dining sets.

We use the frys pickup every week for our groceries and I think we are going to try other places now. It used to be so quick and now when we schedule our order it’s always late and when we get to the store we end up waiting 30-60 minutes when they say our order is ready. It just seems like they do not have enough staff working this area.Pickup was for 9am this morning and still sitting in the parking lot at 10:45. 🙃

I use to shop here every week. We now drive further to the store down off twin peaks. The meat selection at this location is always pretty close to empty. They also have a lot of reduced meats on the shelves that need to be cooked same day.Always love using a cashier to chat and to have help bagging. Our cashier said nothing and the bagger left went we checked out. Cashier didn’t bag anything. I should have just used self check out but when you have a toddler with you having a little extra help bagging is nice.This location is nice for the size but I can’t wait for the new location to open in Marana.

Crème de la crème of Fry's stores in far NorthEast Tucson!Love, love, love this store!Its offerings in meats/seafood, produce, bakery, deli, and liquor are expansive, well-stocked and rate A+. They also have a nice variety of clothing, shoes, as well as plenty of seasonal & gourmet items (kitchen & tableware).The only negative for me is the distance for me from my home.. this store is located on the far NW, and I live on the far eastside!

Fry's is consistently declining: prices are going up, merchandise is going down in both quality, quantity and availability, rarely would I find something truly good tasting and of a good quality. Prices are now way better in Trader Joe's or Sprouts, that's why I recently switched to shopping there. Today's visit to this particular store was, as usual, disappointing: my coupon for a free item I placed on conveyer belt disappeared underneath and cashier said she never saw anything, so I paid a full price. I was, once again, overcharged during this visit, and I often am at this particular store, that's why I rarely shop there, but today it was on the way. I already left the store, otherwise I normally stand in line for Customer Service to get refunded. Lines were long and everything was just chaotic and crazy today. Bottom line: DON'T place your coupons on conveyer belt, they will be gone, DO check your receipt carefully, I am sure you will find an item or two (or more) you were overcharged for.

I want to thank Cashier Brenda and the grocery bag boy Anthony for their help this afternoon. I was not feeling well as I began to shop and by the time I got to the register I thought I was going to faint. Ms. Brenda recognized I wasn’t feeling well, asked if I was I’ll, and after I told her I felt faint. she had Anthony get me a chair and I was able to sit and recover. She made sure I had cold water. Ms. Brenda checked on me several times, even had the manager check to see if I needed medical assistance. I think my blood sugar crashed but I was able to drive home and rest and am feeling fine now. Thank you Ms. Brenda, Anthony, and the Fry’s staff for being so observant and caring. Just one of the reasons I continue to be a loyal shopper at my local Fry’s.

I used to like shopping here but their employees have gotten so rude. They act like you’re annoying them for saying hello and their pickup orders are ALWAYS delayed but they don’t tell you until you’ve driven all the way over there. I can’t wait until the gladden farms location is built, maybe they’ll hire nicer people who don’t act like they hate life.

I made an online order, and a girl named Alexandra brought out our groceries. She was sweating, and hot, but she was still so kind. She made sure to tell us about substitutions. She apologized about the wait, which wasn’t too long. I was disappointed that she could not accept a tip. If anyone deserves a tip it is these people coming into the heat to deliver our food. Please allow us to tip them!!

The best Fry's ... grocery store ... around here for miles and miles.12/08/23. Well, that was six years ago. Times have changed. Now, it seems Fry’s relies on confusing “coupons” which tell you “4X” points on Fridays “with some exclusions” but when you try to determine what is excluded you’d have to hire a Ph D and give them a year’s grant to study to figure it out.My opinion is that Fry’s has taken “bait n switch” to a fine art.It would be easy to make the coverage for coupons clear and readily ascertainable and it is a strong assurance that Fry’s does not want you to figure it out that they trick the public with their “coupons”.

Store grocery pick up needs a lot of work. Multiple times I have made orders only for them to leave me voicemails changing my pick up time. I have also had many times when they have come out and told me they are out of main items like chicken breast and don’t substitute for another brand?? When this is done on many items it defeats the purpose of grocery pick up when u still have to go in the store to shop all the items they said they could not substitute only to find the exact items you ordered are in the store. I stopped placing orders here for about 6 months. I decided to give it another try today. I placed a order for 2-3pm pick up. I live out of town so came just for that was told well we haven’t sent u the substitution text yet it’s not ready and was told to come back tomorrow.. 🤔 I kindly told the lady live out town not making another trip just for that. She well can’t give u a time and starts explaining how they pick 9 orders at a time and they are so behind..ect ect with an attitude.. so we went to lunch came back and have been sitting here since 330 and it’s just about 5pm.. I called the store even the lady at customer service couldn’t help just more excuses and told me if I wanted to speak to a manager I could go in to the corner where they have grocery pick up and find one there..🤔🤔 I won’t be using groceries pick up here again. Most likely neither will anyone of the 10 cars around me that have been sitting here either. (Update groceries just got here for about 7 substitutions and more excuses.. and it’s about 5 till 5).

A year ago I would have rated this 4 stars, but this Fry's is rapidly declining. Products are often not stocked or just flat-out unavailable. The checkout lines seem to always be fairly long. They recently re-arranged most of the isles seemingly just to confuse patrons because what was once a logical layout has given way to arbitrary things like condiments and bread being in the same isle. It is absurd and frustrating. There are two separate isles where pastas can be found but they are not facing. Idiotic. I am chalking this all up to poor management.
