Dove Mountain Veterinary Clinic has helped keep my good girl healthy and happy for 2 years now! They are aware she can sometimes be nervous and they accommodate her by having us come inside once the lobby is clear from other dogs. They are friendly and patient, they listen well, and are open to sharing information from recent studies and articles about kanine health. Always have a great discussion! And always get everything done and addressed that we need to.

We had to put down our adorable 14 year old boxer/great dane, Chanel. What a dog she was! Dove Mountain Veterinary was simple, amazing! I have never experienced passing so peacefully, so compassionate in my life. They gave her all the things gs a dog can't have, but would love. Chocolate kisses, baby foods, etc.. She was in heaven! As she passed the tech, even shed a few tears. I can not say enough good about this Veterinary office and its vets and staff. Thank you so much, Dove Mountain Veterinary!! 🐾💜🐾

Opened early Sunday morning! Very friendly on the phone & on arrival. I took a dog that I found the night before to see if she was chipped so I could find her owner. Happy to help me & gave me a leash for the dog so I could walk her in. The girl offered to come out to the car to scan her & was very helpful & sweet with the dog. Clearly dog lovers. I'd recommend highly! Thank you!

My dog and I are visiting from out of town and they were able to get us in same day on a Saturday to remove some cholla spines that I worried were getting infected. The cost was less than they quoted me, which I appreciated, and they took great care of my dog. We were in and out very quickly. I’d definitely go back! Thank you!

I chose this place before I even brought my puppy home. I wish I would have had this vet with my last dog. These guys are wonderful. Friendly, Efficient, Personal, professional, and open 7 days a week.The pricing is lower then I expected with so many great quality's. I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic.

I called with an issue for my cat and they were able to get me in the same day. I appreciated that they were upfront about the costs. Dr. Cambell was wonderful and our vet tech (I think it was Kelly) was very kind and attentive. They listened to our concerns and was able to diagnose the problem. I will definitely be bringing my cats here again!

The staff here has really helped me navigate thru urgent issues with my 2 dogs since moving to Arizona almost 2 years ago. One of my dogs really does not care for vets, my last vet in Denver had to sedate her each time I brought her in. Dove Mountain has never had to sedate my dog to handle her. I love that. But what I don't love are the prices. This is really an expensive clinic compared to my old clinic in Denver. Everything is so much more expensive across the board. I have spent just under $7k in vet bills in just under 2 years. That is a lot of money! Do I get a frequent flyer card? They have taken great care of my babies though, so I'm still sticking around for now.

Dove Mtn is not my normal vet because I live in Catalina.My dog became ill and need medical help on a Saturday, Dove Mtn was able to work me (my dog) in on Saturday. Staff was nice and everthing. Dr gave my dog some medicine to take home which saved his life. So a big THANK YOU for that.A few days later the Dr, call me at home to follow up on the dogs health and we set up a follow-up appt, which I just left from.Again the staff was nice along with the tech and dr we saw.Very happy with the service !!!

Our sweet dog obviously was feeling badly for a couple of days, so I called DMV, not really expecting to get her in. But they did see her that day and the vet was very kind and helpful, sending us home with meds, which helped greatly. A tech even called the next day to see how she was doing. Great experience!❤️

It should be called LOVE Mountain Vet. If you want to read my original review (it’s long), it’s below my most recent one right hereBeen a client for several years. They do a LOT of things really well and have effectively saved at least one of my pet’s lives (dog with an obstruction, Dr. Campbell). But Dr. Horton, all of the veterinarians, and all of the technicians and front desk staff are consistently excellent and I wish I could remember all their names!. Facility is great and I’ll get to one very important detail about the facility in a minute, but it’s spacious, plenty of room for customers and their pets, plenty of exam rooms, and a nice restroom, plus the pet-themed artwork is great. I really like the online presence, with automated scheduling, conversing with staff, and even the ability to specify technician or specific veterinarian.Now, based on my most recent experience, I wanted to call attention to the comfort room. Unfortunately I had to euthanize one of my cats last week, and not only did they get me in quickly - which should not go unrecognized - but that entire comfort room experience is about as good as it gets. The room itself is incredibly well thought out, with nice calming music, plenty of tissues, comfortable seating, the right low lighting (don’t overlook that, it’s part of the transitional euthanasia experience), and pleasant decorations. I don’t mind one bit that there’s some display of (forgive me if this isn’t the right term) remembrance artifcacts depending on your method of handling the remains, I actually thought that was a nice touch. They planned this room out really well when building the facility, you can drive right up to it’s dedicated entrance, so you don’t have to walk through the main area crying your eyes out. But that’s all about the facility, let’s not forget how compassionate and sympathetic the staff who handle that experience are. And not fake sympathy either, legitimate care and concern. And great attention to detail.Whether it’s routine care, purchasing supplies, or euthanasia, Dove Mountain Veterinary handles all of it deftly. And reasonably priced, too.___________________________________Because this is a caring, capable, compassionate (I really didn’t intent that alliteration either) practice. I’ve been a steady client for a few years and my recent visit did nothing but elevate my opinion even higher. The other day I had an issue with a dog who may have ingested a foreign object. Across the board, it’s very difficult to get an appointment at ANY Veterinary clinic because sadly there is a shortage of veterinarians, so you’re going to wait a couple of weeks at least when you need to schedule an appointment. But let’s start with the fact that not only does Dove Mountain Vet offer scheduled Sunday appointments, but they also have the option (when available) of an urgent same-day appointment, which can save you a trip to the emergency clinic. In my case, they were able to work me in for a same-day Sunday urgent visit. So regardless of the diagnosis and outcome, that alone is pretty darn impressive.

My puppy has been having issues but nobody cared enough to actually see her. They said as long as she doesn’t have symptoms they don’t have to see her even though her waist grew 4 inches in 2 days and it happened for a week long. We kept calling and they kept saying it’s not a concern. They have become so busy that the quality of care has gone down unfortunately. I’m moving my puppies out of there because I can’t trust that they will get the good care they need in a timely manner.

Prices so high this place is not worth it. I brought my dog here for a nail trimming, on the way home my dog is sitting in the back seat with a distressed look on her face. I look and there is blood everywhere as they trimmed multiple nails WAY to short. I now trim them myself because not only did they hurt my dog, I had to pay to get my car fully cleaned due to the amount of blood on my seats.DO NOT GO HERE. This is just one of the times where I have had horrible service between the front desk and this, there are multiple places in town with far more superior service.

Amazing staff and doctor that goes above and beyond to treat our puppies when they were having diarrhea. They were responsive and was able to see our puppies same day when we called in the morning for urgent care. The puppies were given probiotics gel and powder while the doctor analyze their stool. Other clinics didn’t offer any remedies while the doctor analyze the stool but this clinic was extremely helpful in addressing all of our concerns for immediate and preventative care. The clinic is a little far but it’s worth the drive because I know my puppies will get the best care.

We recently had to say goodbye to our wonderful dog of 16+ years. We had not used Dove Mountain before but we are so glad that we called when we knew that it was time for our Chocolate to leave us. They made a truly horrible situation very comfortable. We really appreciated that we were able to use a side door for the situation, and the room was so peaceful. We've utilized the clinic in the past and had a good experience. Recently we did not have a favorable outcome with a pet with a serious health condition. Unfortunately, the communication/records between customer, staff and practitioner was poor. Access to provider was restricted when we needed them them most. Proactive responsiveness was nonexistent when time was of the essence. Tests we had done were not interpreted correctly and proper routine diagnostics (according to the next vet we saw) were not conducted for the condition. It is difficult enough to watch a pet suffer in illness, but not having a reliable competent partner in the process of helping us through a difficult situation of figuring out the problem and solution was heartbreaking. The result was the animal suffered longer. Consider making a different choice for vet care if you feel you are not getting what you need.

I took my 16 yr old kitty in on 10/16/23, she had many health issues and it was her time. Dr.Carpenter and tech Dom were so compassionate and I felt they truly cared about my baby. I have 4 more cats at home and I wouldn't take them anyplace else.I love Dr. Carpenter and all the Dove Mtn. staff.Highly recommend them.

Dr. Gamez and her assistant Heather were wonderful. I was nervous about finding a vet to care for my small dog who would understand my anxiety about how small she is and having her under anesthesia for dental care. Heather and Dr. Gamez were competent, empathetic and took plenty of time to answer my questions and looked my little dog over from head to toe. I also appreciated they didn't push treatment, but discussed pros and cons, then let me decide. Even the front desk was kind and listened to my concerns without making me feel silly or feel judged for the time that has lapsed since my dog had veterinary care. The office is busy and that speaks volumes. They seem to be well organized dispite being short staffed and very busy. I also found their prices agreeable. I was worried that given the location the office would take advantage of demographic, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Im glad i found a "veterinary home" as all 3 of my dogs are getting older and I appreciate having a place I feel comfortable taking them to. Thank you! 💖💖🤗🤗

I called every vet in town when my puppy was positive for parvo. Brittany called me back telling me there was an opening since there was none earlier that day and she had talked to the Dr about my dog. Even though they were busy they were so amazing with my dog and helped the situation without breaking my bank as well. 10/10 recommend this vet and their staff.
