Wonderful place with a cabin look front and very nicely decorated inside. We had a 2 bedroom with bathrooms, a full tub and shower, plus a living room with a fireplace and a large kitchen. It was very private, and the bed we used was comfortable with TV.The front desk was nice enough to call me when the place was ready for us as we were early. She provided a map with restaurants to help. 😀I would love to return. The only negative is it is a distance from town, off the beaten path.

Visited on an extended business trip turned family vacation. The 2 bedroom cabin was great. Close enough to Show Low and only 30 minutes from Sunrise Ski Park. Having a couple kids running around, it was nice that the unit was not connected to anyone else, so I didn't have worry about the stomping and fun from our group bugging anyone else. The unit had a washer and dryer, all of the dishes we needed, and a smart TV in each room. There was a separate entrance for the master "suite," in case Grandma wanted to sneak out to go to the casino, I guess. All in, everything we needed besides ice and coffee. The staff were very helpful at check in. I was able to opt out of the time-share follow-ups by reading the documents they have you sign on the credit card machine. There's a small playground, board games, DVDs to borrow, and a small mini golf course. We'll consider this again for future visits, for sure.Nearby activities: Getting to Sunrise only takes about 30 minutes. There are several Ski shops within 10 minutes, in case you forgot something or pre-scheduled rentals. A few local coffee shops, restaurants, and grocery stores are also within 10 minutes, so no need to haul back to Show Low. The Casino is not far, either.Safety: The cabins are deep in a residential and vacation rental community. I hardly saw another person. I was more concerned about the animal footprints in the snow between cabins than I was another person.Walkability: You're only walking for exercise around here, as it is quite a ways from the main highway. Count it as a rental car required spot.

Wife & I and two friends drove up for a week in Early Feb 2024. Check-in was easy and upgrading to the rec center & wifi for $15/day was a no brainer. The two bedroom, two bath cabin had a large living room and dining room with a full kitchen. Bethany & Jeanette in the office were attentive and helpful. With nearly two feet of snow, the grounds-crew did an excellent job. The rec center and pool/hot tub were clean and include full locker/dressing room. Thanks for a great stay; we will be back!!!

Just awesome. The two bedroom cabins are spacious and beautiful. It is as modern as a cabin should feel with all the amenities. I wish our stay was longer. We will be back!I will say that if you visit during a storm, bring a fan to drown out the noise. Cabin #17 is extremely creeky.Update: My family has now stayed here at least four times. The staff continues to be friendly and all the included amenities and entertainment are an absolute steal for the price. We love these cabins and will continue staying here whenever there is availability.

Although I am not the purchaser of my stay at this place, I did pay my share to him. So I feel that I have a right to comment.I was impressed with the location. Tucked into a curve on Buck Springs Road, it was fairly private. I'm a birdwatcher and they didn't disappoint. However, one of the things we wanted was the pool. It was dirty. So was the jacuzzi. The wall between them was so heavily coated that someone had drawn words into it. The management said it wasn't their responsibility. Just what a guest wants to hear! They provide outdoor grills. Ours was broken and fixed the day before we left. So, I can't give a stellar review. 4 stars is being kind.

This place is absolutely perfect and beautiful. The women at the front desk were kind and accommodating. Our cozy two bedroom deluxe cabin had a full kitchen to accommodate four or more. A grill on the deck. "Bring your groceries." They even provided regular sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner, along with lotion in each bathroom. The beds were comfortable; extra blankets and pillows in the closets. There are many things/activities to do. It was more than we expected, and we couldn't appreciate it more. Quiet and peaceful. The weather was perfect! We will be making reservations for next year!Tip: Order out, from R&R Pizza Exress. Their food is fricken amazing! They deliver here to the resort.

The two bedroom cabins were spacious. We lucked out and arrived after a snow fall and there was thick powder all around for the kids to play. The indoor pool is quite large, and warm enough to swim in the winter. The jacuzzi is nice as well. The staff were friendly. The only thing I would have liked was a real fireplace, or even a fire pit. The cabin has a fake fireplace.Update: we returned again to this cabin in October with the leaves having changed to a crimson red. Still would like a fire pit outside, but otherwise it is great. The Jacuzzi is not working in the pool area this time, which is unfortunate.

Do not trade your time share to come here. You will be treated like a second class citizen ! Those nice cabins...oh there not for you, you can go to the dorms and share a grill after you lug all your stuff up to the second floor. Yup carry all your cooking stuff and food a block away.

The location is easy to get to and there are various activities available at the resort. The cabins are clean and nicely furnished and there is decent amount of space in all of the rooms. We were there recently and the weather was cold. The only complaint was that the one bedroom with the king sized bed and the attached bathroom was not well heated. There was a problem with the vents because when the heat was on in the rest of the cabin there was no heat coming out of the vents in that bedroom or the vents in the attached bathroom.

We really enjoyed our time here. Our private vacation cabin was more than we expected. Large kitchen, nice comfortable living space. Both bedrooms were large and the beds were great. We were here on memorial day weekend and even though it was fully occupied it was still very quiet at night. It was really nice to have a washer and dryer en suite. All of the activities were very well maintained and our boys loved them all. Very safe and comfortable environment.

Clean 2 bedroom modular home to relax in. Nice get away from Phoenix. Good location and lots of things to do. Miniature golf, DVD, table tennis and swimming pool are a fewthings you can enjoy. Not far off the highway and close to town if you want to explore. Full kitchen and lots of room.

The staff goes above and beyond my every expectation. The cabins were clean, spacious and modern. The grounds were clear of snow in the walkways and road. Maintenance man came to my cabin after hours to fix my wi-fi and the staff ensured my total satisfaction. I had other choices to stay other places and I will be returning to this location in the future for fishing and RnR. Thank you staff.

Booked here rather then much nicer air b and bs for the same price because after a long day of snowboarding a hot tub is a nice touch. Well apparently they have winter hours now that weren't listed until we got here and saw it on the door and the hot tub closes at 8 not 10. We won't be staying here again air b and bs are cheaper and way nicer.

Very clean and spacious cabins. Beyond my expectations. Everything needed for a wonderful family weekend is provided. More than enough kitchen supplies, towels and bedding plus trash pick up and propane grills just off the front porch. Lots of on-site activities and great customer service. Can't wait to visit again for skiing/ snowboard season!

When my mother came up from Phoenix she decided to stay here because it had the cheapest nightly rate and was only a couple of miles from my home. When she told me she paid less than $100 a night on the weekend right before thanksgiving, I figured this place was probably going to be pretty scary. I was amazed at how nice this place was! She had an entire cabin to herself, not just a room like she had expected. It actually came with two rooms and two baths with a nice spacious kitchen and living room. I even decided to stay the night at her cabin instead of just driving home because it was too nice to pass up.

We have stayed here twice, and can confidently recommend it. PVC is a very comfortable property located close to amenities, but also has the feel of the outdoors. The cabins are very modern with full kitchens, central AC / heating and gas BBQ grills. The staff are helpful and polite. The beds are comfortable. I did not give five stars because the living room furniture is not comfortable.

This is such a cute place. They are super nice and clean inside. Suitable for 4 children and 2 adults.( And even 1 more person because the couch has a hide a bed) TVs in all rooms. Kitchen is fully stocked with whatever you need. Extra blankets and sheets. The little play area out front with miniature golf and chess is so cute. They have an indoor pool and hot tub. Hot tub is age 14+though. Kids were sad. They have a grill right out front of the cabin with a cute picinc table. For the price it was so comfortable and cozy. My kids loved it.

We visited for Thanksgiving weekend, not very many people around. The weather was supposed to be pretty bad though. It snowed a ton! It was so beautiful! The rooms were so clean, they were fully stocked and updated. We loved the cabin look of everything. The staff were so nice and helpful! They even made sure to plow the roads so we would not get snowed in. It was such a wonderful time!

I wish I had more time here but love the amenities. The pool was colder than expected to be even though it was "heated". The cabin was amazing and set up for more than a 1 night stay. We ordered just 1 room but ended up with 2. Maybe I didn't pay attention to that when I was booking? It's a bit pricey, spent $250 for 1 night, egads. Hope to be back and for a cheaper price hopefully. Staff was nice and informative.

Lovely location in the cool pines! Looks great on the outside. Nice spacious kitchen and rooms. Bathrooms a disappointment with tiny shower and the spa tubs are not being utilized (they are just a soaking tub with no bubbles). Floors creek in all the rooms. But the recreation center and indoor pool are excellent with lots of things to do and keeps the kids entertained. The rooms also have air conditioning unlike other local resorts. This place is located close enough to town but far enough to be quiet. Overall I rated it at 4 stars.

Terrible experience. As soon as I arrived I was disappointed. The pictures are very promising but do not realistically portray the "resort". Our "cabin" was over $330 for 1 night and the whole place just felt CHEAP. I really felt like I was staying in a single wide trailer, not a resort or cabin. The location is terrible and all of the cabins are packed together very tightly with no privacy. As soon as you step outside you are on your neighbors front porch. When my son got sick before we arrived they told us they would give us a refund but after being on the phone getting the run around for over 40 minutes we decided to bite the bullet and stay in this drab place. I Will never be returning and advise you to consider other location possibilities.Sadly this was our only option.*Also our check in was at 2pm and we had to wait for over an hour and a half until our room was ready. Not fun especially with kids who do not want to sit around.

This resort was amazing. Staff was nice and professional. Cabin was huge. With everything you could need. Dishes, sink, oven, refrigerator, washer and dryer. Staff picks up garbage every hour.. quiet hotel. Mini golf, big indoor pool/ hot tub. Great trip for all. Great food near by. Horse back riding around the corner. GO TO DARBIS CAFE.
