New to area, searching for veterinarian for my injured cat. My phone call was answered quickly by a friendly and helpful receptionist. She informed me how to use their ER service and that cost ($200). I felt it was urgent but not an emergency, so I settled for their next available appointment, which was reasonable in time and cost (under $100). She even followed up with if something opened up sooner, she would let me know.This professional and customer friendly service is more in alignment with the type of veterinary service I am used to. Awesome first impressions!Arrived for our appointment a little early, and the staff was all friendly and cheerful. The Veterinarian was professional, knowledgeable, and explained the condition and procedure well. I was shown the price sheet of the total costs. Cassie and the other ladies at the front desk were very helpful with answering additional questions i had about pet food the sell. I am veryy happy with our experience! Will return and recommend.

They have been so amazing. We live in far west phoenix and we drive all the way up the mountain just for them to take care of our dogs. There affordable and they really do care about your pet. Definitely try them out you won't be disappointed.

This has been a wonderful place for me to take my animal for regular visits as well as in an emergency. They have worked with me on plans and treatments I can afford while still giving fantastic care to my dog. They're always gentle and kind and extremely helpful. The facility is always clean and welcoming. I love this place even more since the new vet has come in. It's a wonderful vet for the white mountains that I'd wholeheartedly trust with my dog or any other pet.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but my GSD was injured badly and brought him here and what can I say this place was amazing. They were able to see him right away and fix him up and onto recovery. The staff all around was welcoming made my Dog feel welcomed and made us feel welcomed as well. I highly recommend this place for all pet owners. Thank you again Blue Ridge for all your help.

In the nearly 15 years we have lived up here, we have always had top notch service from Blue Ridge. Everyone treats our dogs as if they were their own! When we had to put one down, the doctor cried along with us! Cannot get better than that!

Absolutely amazing staff! Dr Ponder and the loving staff saved my dog's life. I know...you can't save them all but this place is above and beyond any vet on the mountain. I admitted my dog Extra in critical condition from ingesting poisonous mushrooms. After calling ahead, she was taken immediately into a room and was given immediate attention. There was no "sign here and we need a credit card" nonsense. Love and care first. Paperwork later. Extra is alive today because of their immediate response, expertise, honesty and professionalism. Thank you very much for your dedication to saving her life. The cost? Priceless! But really it was very affordable.Extra says thank you. I say thank you. She's glad to be alive!

I have 3 large dogs who love too stick their noses where they dont belong. The staff and the vets here have been fantastic when it comes to being there for my emergencies and non-emergencies. They asways chose what is best for the dogs yet affordable for me. I love this clinic.

I’m a vet tech of 10 years. And unfortunately my parents brought my childhood dog here for medical help. Despite my advice to bring the pet down to the valley for ICU care, BOTH DVMs advised my dad this wasn’t a big concern. My childhood pet died 2 days later due to BOTH doctors negligence. We are currently in the process of seeking out a medical malpractice lawsuit and reporting both doctors and the clinic to the Arizona state board. Not only did they handle this case negligently but after when I spoke to Dr. Burke about how their mishandling led to Bruce’s death, she literally said “are you done” after I explained everything to her. Absolutely no sympathy or care. And not only that, but they are illegally changing medical documents in order to show that they have some kind of knowledge as to what was going on. Please do not bring your pet here.Ooooo and Dr. Burke promised to compensate one of the visits since it was agreed that he shouldn’t be there and the veterinarian should’ve recommended ER. A week later I had to call and check on the refund…. They “forgot” to issue it. Seriously DO NOT go here if you value your pets life.

Very nice clinic and Veterinarians! They were able to accommodate Diesel same day. He had terrible allergies and ant bites. I highly recommend the cytopoint injections if your dog suffers.

Had to put my dog down a few weeks ago. That is a very difficult experience but this staff was so wonderful. Several vet technicians came in one at a time and just loved on my old girl. They were all so thoughtful and sensitive. I really appreciated their emotional support and comfort.

The staff and doctor are very professional and incredibly compassionate. They were patient with me when I had to put my dog down a couple of weeks ago. He went gently and peacefully. I can't say enough good things about Blue Ridge Pet Clinic. The staff came in on a Sunday on father's day to treat our dog Lexi. They really care and went above and beyond to help us. We are new to the area and were desperate and very upset. They saved her life. They recognized signs that she may have Lymphoma. Had they not recognized it and treated and tested her she likely wouldn't be with us today. She did have lymphoma and we were able to get her into treatment . Because of their compassion we are going to be able to enjoy some more time with her.

I took my sick dog and didn't know it was going to cost so much money for the visit and for the drugs. I asked if I could pay some at a later date and they said no. Vet and girls behind counter. Their answer was just pay for the visit and come back when I had the money for the drugs that my dog desperately needed. So the visit was not helpful because I couldn't get the drugs my pet needed. Need a good vet up here in white mountains that will work with people. We never know just how much a visit and drugs will be when we take our pets in. We ask just to work with us cause we like to take good care of our pets and the vets would get paid.

I don't trust anyone when it comes to Hallie but the Blue Ridge Vet Clinic. She's 6 years old and we got her when she was 3 and been through 5 houses she was shot at least 5 times one as in the head so blind in one eye. They are the best vet clinic for her. We were travelling and the service for urgent care was very prompt and we received the medication we needed and given thorough instructions on administering them. We live in Wyoming and were visiting in the area. My husband’s service dog injured her leg while playing with friend’s dog. It was a cut to the bone and bleeding quite profusely. Of course this happened on a Sunday. Of all the vets we called this one was the only one that called back. They came in right away, was very helpful and Snafu liked the vet and tech that came in. She is a very good judgment of character lol. If we lived there they would definitely be our vet.

My mama's girl was attacked by a large dog and I like any pet owner who loves their dogs freaked out when I seen the damages the other dog did I was extremely grateful that Blue Ridge Pet Clinic was there to help after hrs. Dr. Halstead your amazing for what u did for my mama's girl I can't express how pleased I was that u helped my baby since she is the only thing i have left of my mom after her passing away mamas use to be my moms dog and I've had her for 10+ years and I couldn't imagine losing my mama's as well thank you Dr. Halstead for your amazing heart and amazing work I'm extremely grateful for u ❤

Being new to the White Mountains, we had yet to establish the usual contacts, doctors, dentist, etc,etc,,, our elderly Shih-Tzu ran into a fence pole and appeared to have injure his tooth and possibly jaw? We’ve asked a couple of pet parents and been told a few places, but the ones who have been most satisfied are those who have been to Blue Ridge, So I had contacted Blue Ridge Pet Clinic and spoke to Poline, she was working the front desk and just so very kind and compassionate to the situation, they were pretty booked with no notice but I was given the option to call around 7-7:30 to see if any cancellations came up, Well, one did come up and by 2:30pm we were checked in and escorted to the examination room where a wonderful tech named Sandra took Newman’s vitals and medical history etc…. By 3:00pm Dr. Clark was looking him over telling us our options, I felt an immediate connection and understanding with Dr Clark as I’ve had many rescues and pets of our own taken to our previous vet and finding a new vet is as important as Mom and Dad finding a new doctor! I can’t tell you the importance of knowing my little family member was going to be in knowledgeable trustworthy and loving hands, That right there you CAN’T put a price on! I was confident we made the right choice🙏❤️ So, to make this long story short, we walked in on a Tuesday 2:30 3:00pm and 48 hours later, Matt lovingly took our boy into surgery that morning and was picked up later that afternoon, a little groggy but healthy once again❤️While the hubby took Newmans support system (His rescue brother❤️) back to the car, I slowly walked Newman to the front desk where The final SHOCK would come! We were quoted all cost/possible cost 48 hours prior to surgery, we ended up paying almost $400 less than that quote….. Thank you ❤️🐾❤️ Now all we have to do is find a doctor and dentist were that comfortable with.🐾 "Folks will know how large your soul is, By the way you treat a dog!"🐾❤️Charles F. Doran
