I'm one of the volunteers here I been volunteering for a few months and about a year know and this place is awesome if you want a new family member we take good care of the dogs feed them fresh water and clean there kennel and I kind of get why a few people gave this place a low rating but they mostly declined your application cause you didn't pass a check if it was a yard check just make sure to add/fix your fence or clean your yard or maybe the meet and great didn't go well like yes they want good homes but they don't want a chance of the dog escaping or being returned and yes this is a no kill shelter but I hope this comment helped

We have 30+ years experience raising and rescuing Great Danes. We currently have 41 acres, one Great Dane, two cats, and 58 chickens. Some how we get turned down, and they wouldn’t tell us why! It’s very sad when good homes with plenty of experience are turned away. We thought you wanted your dogs to go to good homes. That’s what we get for thinking. I’m heart broken. 😢

Declined us for the fact we don’t have fencing but we have over 50 acres of land that the dog can play on after he gets use to the area but no they didn’t have the ability to have human knowledge and passion. They want dogs to be adopted but yet they decline good families

2009 I tried to get my dog back, as I was distraught after losing my Dog. I paid for all the shots, he was in a cage and she wouldn't let me have him back. She said I would have to fill out an application and pay a fee. I said I would be happy to pay again. I should of called the police. I still wonder what happened to my dog Shane. a Shepherd mixheartless people a young girl running the show.I hope he was adopted by a loving person.. Its all about MONEY!!! Sad.

I love my Dog Dusty. All the people at this facility were very helpful and friendly. I really liked that everything was kept very clean and Dogs were well taken care of.

We went to many shelters and were very disappointed, we found Mutt Matchers in Kingman and stopped in .we were at first wanting a small dog because we are seniors.We walked past the cages and a larger dog caught our attention a beautiful Black Lab /pit mix 8 mos. we were hesitant until she stuck both paws out and tugged at my Husbands hand . We adopted Jessie girl , she keeps us on our toes literally we were told she is a jumper and we found out a digger she loves to go for rides , she loves to take us for walks LOL. We are very happy with Jessie girl adopt don’t shop.

Such a caring facility! I highly recommend a visit if you are looking to add a family member! They also take donations if you wish to help their cause. The staff truly cares about animals! It's not just a job to them.

Although we just went in to see our options for a 2nd canine compadre, the girls there were really helpful and just gave what information they knew and answered most of the questions we had.The facility is pretty well kept up and the dogs seemed pretty well accommodated.

BEST rescue anywhere !!! No kill shelter that is VERY careful, and matches you with a dog that will be right for both you, AND the dog. We adopted the sweetest little boy in early December, and couldn't be happier !!

I called twice spoke to a gentleman who said I needed $75 to fix my dog when I arrived they said they couldn't take him. Waste of time.
