On a 1,500 road trip from LA and two ball joint bolts decided to call off work permanently on a Sunday. Thought i was SoL but the kind and helpful folks of Yazzie tire shop sorted me out in less than 20 minutes. The only auto repair shop within 50 miles of Monument Valley.FYI It’s a CASH ONLY shop

I got a cut on my tire sidewall near Kayenta on HWY 160. Mr. Yazzie came right away to pick me up, and find a tire for my vehicle. He took off the wheel and drove to his shop to find a replacement. His son is an outstanding mechanic, and got the tire replaced quickly. They mounted my tire and I was on my way. I've noticed that everyone knows Yazzie from four corners to Page and flagstaff. It was an Amazing experience for a bad situation. I highly recommend the Yazzie family.

Our rental had two bald tires, one of which completely gave out not far from Kayenta. We were stranded 100 miles from where we were staying with two young kids in the backseat. Google identified Yazzie was one of the few options nearby. We came, and Byron and his crew were so kind and swift in helping us.These were amongst the nicest people we could have ever met hoped to meet. Knowledgeable service and just decent, kind humans.

I got a flat tire in the middle of nowhere, and didn't have phone reception. I used my donut tire to drive into town, and I used McDonald's Wi-Fi to call Yazzie Tire Shop. They came within 10 minutes to look at my car. They had to drive 1 1/2 hrs out to the nearest store for my tire, and were sending me constant status updates. Because it was already dark and very windy when they arrived back, they fixed it up for me first thing the next day (it was my decision to wait until morning). As a woman traveling alone, they helped me out so much! They go above and beyond to get you back on the road

Got some metal in a tire in the middle of nowhere between Moab and Mexican Hat. Put a spare donut tire on in Mexican Hat and limped 50 more miles to Kayenta. Mr. Yazzie fixed us right up with a patch, and we were on our way in under an hour. What a relief! Super nice people at this shop and lifesavers.

We were driving through the area on our way to Colorado in a RAM promaster and broke down about a mile from Yazzie’s. We gave them a call and were able to limp the van to their location. They were so kind and immediately began to help us assess the issue. When it became obvious the repairs would be extensive, they made several calls on our behalf to local connections for a reasonable tow to Flagstaff where a dealership is located. They allowed us to park the van on their property while we made arrangements and even ended up giving us a ride. I can’t say enough for their kindness and willingness to help us out when we were in a tight spot. I’ll always be grateful to everyone there, especially Byron. If you find yourself in a bind, this is definitely the place to go.

From Michigan and had a pulley blow while heading through town. They drove me an hour one way and back to get the part, fixed me up, and had me on the road that day. All for a reasonable price.If you need auto assistance in the area who are good folk and will take care of you. Thanks again guys!

We had a flat tire last Thursday on a rental and had no good options to get back to Page. They came and found a tire that would get us back in the middle of the night. They were a life saver for us.

My F450 Ford 6.0L diesel popped off the upper turbo hose. I found myself stranded on the highway. AAA would not provide a tow to a Ford dealer. I attempted to reattach the hose. Would not hold and just popped off again. I called Yassie(Mobil truck repair) and he arrived in 15 minutes. Yassie’s helper reattached the hose. First attempt didn’t hold. Yassie said that he had an idea. Follow me to my shop. I limped down the highway with no turbo boost. He placed two clamps and used wire to create a counter force to secure hose to the turbo. ( picture included) I was able to drive to the Ford dealer over 80 miles to Page Az. Remarkable ingenuity saved the day. The tech at the dealer said that without Yassie’s fix I would have never made it! Yassie totally saved the day. We need more mechanics like Yassie and his helper who take a genuine interest in helping stranded travelers.

During a recent road-trip in late July to Utah, we were heading down to Kayenta, AZ to our hotel, we got a flat tire. It was very late at night (10 pm) and no places were open. We were about 1 hour away from Kayenta (in the middle of nowhere), roadside service was no help, so we called Yazzie’s Tire Ship and were able to come to us and help us patch the tire. They were extremely helpful, respectful, and friendly. They literally saved us! I will be forever grateful for their help! (:

Ronson is the man you need to talk to. This isn't your typical tire shop, more like a junkyard with a bunch of dogs and horses running wild. Tires come cheap and the service is dedicated. CASH ONLY. We went because it was the only tire place open on a sunday within 100 miles and we were looking for a specific non-common tire. Ronson was able to find a couple and tried them both for us. We decided on the beefier tire to get us to the next major city and he charged 60 bucks for tire and labor altogether. If you need a tire on a pinch and for cheap, definitely stop here, otherwise find a certified business to patronize.

I had a situation with my car that was not tire related. They were the only place open near where I was. They helped me out as best they could to get me on my way back home from the trip. They really were amazing!!!!!

There we were...in the Hopi Navajo area just enjoying a nice ride in this beautiful land. Our small RV picked up a vibration, the wife said " may be a tire", I thought it was the road. While I got the jack out and changed the tire, I knew she was right. With the spare on we were off more was than one. Outside of Rock Point, a another vibration... the other rear tire was going down. We limped into town. Call around and Yazzie Tires had two tires... Myron and Isabelal drove 1 1/2 hours picked up our tires, drove back to Yazzie tires. Mounted the tires and drove back. If your looking for a fair deal, and above and beyond service this is the place. 5 hours of driving and work by them, till 11:30 pm. Make Yazzie tires your first call.

Yazzie went beyond all expectations, with an appoitment, to immediately serve us 9am on a Sunday morning with a dually tire repair that allowed us to get on our way again in less than 90 minutes. Very reasonable rate as well. Tire repaired is still running strong after 6 weeks of travel. Great find in a sparsely populated area.

My first RV trip 6 years ago, far from home, out in the middle of nowhere, my trailer blew a tire. I put on the spare, which looked dry rotted. The first Navajo jewelry store told me a tire place was just up the road. 60 miles later, I found this wonderful place.They didn't have a new tire to fit, but he sold me 2 good used ones. Teo of his teenage employees swapped them all out for me. I had a wonderful time talking to these three. Good people.I asked the owner if he had a spare four way I could buy. He pulled an old rusty one down from the wall, and I said perfect, how much. He clutched it too his chest and said, I don't know this is my favorite one. I busted out laughing.The charge was so cheap I gave him extra. Since it was so late, I asked him if I could park in his yard for the night. I ended up parking in the lower level behind, by the edge of the ravine. It was magical.I'll never forget this place. Please visit.

All the way from Alabama, on vacation. I picked up a screw in my tire on a Sunday and was worried I would have to wait until the next day to get it fixed. I called Yazzie Tire Shop and was surprised to hear they are open 24/7 and would fix it right away. I drove to their shop and had the tire patched within 20 minutes and for a low charge. Very knowledgeable and very friendly staff. If ever in the area again, I know who I'll call if I have tire issues.

Awesome people. We had a chevy astro with a blown tire. I road my bike to there shop after hours. They drove 4 miles up the road and helped me get the tire off and brought it back got a new tire on and brought it back up and installed it and we where on our way. Back to new york tire made it the rest of the way. Good prices. Depends on what ur traveling with like power tool u could strike a deal but cash is king.You get welcomed with a couple pups on the way in and a good bye from them on the way out.Had a good experience very friendly people hope to cross paths with them again in the future. And be able to have a beer with them guys.Something ill never forget.

Wonderful family and total lifesaver! Were in the middle of a road trip when we noticed that one of our tires was flat and beginning to peel off.Were so lucky to find this shop; they replaced the tire in no time and were incredibly hospitable.Though the place is a bit a-typical, definitely legit. Felt like I was living a nightmare and my road-trip was over when my wheel fell off by kayenta. Called these guys the next morning on a Sunday and they spent all day towing my car, sourcing the parts, and driving hundreds of miles to get them. This is a scary area to have car issues, and I am so thankful for these guys. They’re friendly, very competent, and the price was more than fair. Can’t recommend highly enough

This shop saved my day! I picked up a nail along AZ Hwy 98 yesterday. The family here patched my tire and had me safely back on the road in under an hour for a low cost (cash only for now). Their shop is in a fairly remote spot: about 22 miles NE of the Shell station at the 98 and 160 intersection; and about 10 miles SW of Kayenta, where there are gas stations and more shops. For me, in exactly the right spot, so I didn’t have to drive too far on my spare.The family was also very friendly! The littlest girl in the family brought out a puppy for me to say hi to. Very kind, very helpful.FYI, but for my dog, I am a female who was traveling alone. Despite the rough appearance from the roadside, I felt comfortable here after meeting the family.

On the first day of our trip we had a flat tire.In a sparsely inhabited part of the country we found Yazzie's Tire Shop based on other Google reviews. He fixed the puncture in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. We drove right up, no appointment necessary, but we had to wait a bit as there were other's ahead of us. It looks like a junk yard but don't let that stop you. He did great work. We were able to finish the rest of our trip without problems. We felt so lucky!

This used tire store has very few tires. Worried we would get another flat driving on rough dirt road. More of a junk yard and no restrooms. They also only take cash. They did have a nice employee but basically wasted lots of our time going here.

After my right wheel bearing went out on my truck. This shop was the only mechanic from Kayenta to Page that was willing to help me on the without any notice, and on Saturday. Even without a press of any sort the mechanics got me back on the road in less then 2 hours. Although the place takes a bit of courage to walk into, the staff are humble people and great mechanics. If you ever break down while in Navajo Nation. This shop has my highest recommendation!
