***Masks are required to enter this establishment. No exceptions. All business on the Navajo Nation requires you to wear a mask.***This location has a Starbucks inside. A Wells Fargo ATM inside. They also have a deli and bakery. Prices are a tad on the high side.This is the only grocery store for about 75-90 miles in either direction you go from here. This location has requires you to purchase at least $5.00 in order to use your credit/debit card. This is also the only Diné Market that sells San Pellegrino. Long lines may form as well, so have somepatience.

I visited this store in late September with my family on vacation . We were on our way to Monument Valley. We actually dropped by on our way to Monument Valley/ back from to get tea/ coffee at Starbucks inside & toilet breaks !! The toilet was large & clean . Huge store ! We were very sad to see a dog on loose with chains around her/ his neck ,it seemed the chains were cut off . I talked a very nice local lady she told me the native Americans there were so poor & dogs run away to feed themselves ,or they let their dogs go & there's no shelter take anymore dogs !! They're too full !! She also told me some family on a farm sometimes accept dogs to let them live on their farm if they feel like .( I guess she meant if they financially can ? )I recommend this store for your coffee break at Starbucks inside ,or for a toilet break ,or both like we did ! Of course ,grocery shopping, too !

In the Navajo Lands near to Monument Valley is the town of Kayenta where this Bashas' is based.Large store with a Deli, Bakery and any other grocery products you would want.Friendly staff who have good customer service skills.The colour scheme inside is a bit dull, but its the people that make it.

They over charge you on things and don't explain why. They'll say that what it is. Yesterday I was charged $4.79 for 8 oz of whipped frosting.when sale sign says 1.99 .after going round and round..Manger of bakery says it's for a tube for that price.i wanted it their 8 oz container it was in. I'm like dud!? Anyways the other container says $2.99 it was a confusing day, 😕 So always check your receipt before leaving the Bashas, Always say something, Cause it's your hard earned money they want,

Customer service at the Deli Dept Sucks ! Individuals that work there don't have any polite or respectful customer service at all ..Not Correct greeting like , " Hello , good morning, how may I help you , " all you get is a very Blunt , " Whet do you Want ! After such a long drive from the last Starbucks, the ice wasn't all the way melted, they replaced my awful drink! Great customer service, such nice baristas. I definitely recommend stopping by to get something to jolt you up.

Finally got much needed overdue upgrades and renovations with the help of Raylees Corporations . Should be renamed to " Basha of Raylees Dineh Shopping Incorporated " since Bashas gave up all grocery connections in 2021 . Dineh Shopping Inc. Due to No Intoxicating Beverage Sales on the Reservation Business sites of : NM UT AZ

Ladies are rude at registers also some managers are rude ... Deli food old not changed out .. I placed a order at bakery and they didn't do my cake right also someone touched the cake I didn't notice intell I got home .. so I had to cut it out myself.

5-stars could be the rating if prices were lower on basic staples such as fat-free milk, eggs, etc and especially when this grocery store starts carrying Chocolate Caramel (International Delight), Snicker Bar (Coffee Mate), and Chocolate (Dunkin Donut) flavored Coffee creamers.

Bashas' had less items to shop for but they were restocking and busy, as usual. Been away for quite awhile, great they have Starbuck, and they're renovating. Place was clean, friendly cashiers, and no other problems. Wear your mask & be safe!

With the new renovations and upgrades this has become a nice place to shop. The workers are pleasant and helpful. Prices are reasonable as well.

October 2021: Stayed the night at the nearby hotel and walked over here to do some shopping for essentials. Area is kinda trashy and there were stray dogs in the parking lot and near the store entrance, which was not welcoming. The store was well stocked and clean and I found most of what I was shopping for. Prices were good.

Stopped by Ace Hardware then went to Bashas' for some frozen food, salad, strawberries and Dawn Powerwash. No canned cat food today, just the Fancy Feast and our cat only likes the cheap paté. The cashiers are always friendly and polite, the grocery baggers too.

Let me start with saying, that the low rating has nothing to do with the stock, employees, or cleanliness. Bashas', you really need to update your store. The state of the store is shameful in comparison to the other locations. What really is your reasoning for letting this location slide? The employees were friendly and helpful. The location is super convenient. The store was kept clean and stocked. The only downside is how old the store is. There is only so much staff can do with cleaning and stocking. At some point, corporate, you need to step up and do your part.

Racism is alive & well here. If you are not native, try your very best to avoid this place. Staff and customers are terribly rude and make a point to vividly exhibit their hate onto those who are not like them. Come prepared so you do not need to rely on places where you are uncomfortably unwelcome.

They've recently remodeled but need a code to use the restroom because of vandalism. The store looks a lot better but the self-checkout is a pain to deal with.

Customer service is ok, but that place is old and not appealing to attract shoppers. Half of Parking lot is needing redone so parking lot is tangle and full. The store needs a face lift. Of course, Flagstaff Bashas gets all of the Navajo Nation revenues to look good. Customers hardly go there and a few customers are usually in their.

Comparison, Tuba city deli department and kayenta deli department. Tuba city wins. Fresh, Fresh, Fresh. Makes you want to taste everything they have displayed. Also the bakery dept. Don't have flies sitting on the donuts. There donuts taste like they were drenched in lard. Sales on holiday occasions, they don't have any. Hope the main headquarters read this.
