This is one of my favorite places in Arizona. I love the art and hope some more of it can be restored. The dinosaurs and decorations are one of a kind. I hope they get a male ostrich, so I can buy eggs again. Bought several beautiful pieces of petrified wood. Been coming to this store since 2002. I always feed the ostriches and find something I want to buy. The Stewart's are very nice people. Last week the store was closed, but they saw me by the ostriches and opened up for me. This is a route 66 must see. Feed the ostriches and find a souvenir. Another suggestion I have for the owners is to sell cold soft drinks. Otherwise it is perfect.

At first my husband thought I was crazy for wanting to stop there but I am so glad we did. Mrs. Stewart is the nicest lady! Yes the place could use some love but their prices are amazing. We probably spent an hour there talking & looking. Definitely would love to go back.

This is a great little souvenir shop! I would suggest everybody stop in get your free piece of petrified wood, and have a great conversation with Gazelle, she's wonderful!! And on top of that, you can feed the Ostriches!! They bite, so be careful!!!

Really cool place to stop by and see! Not sure about buying anything though, it's so expensive and things are dusty because I guess other people though the same. Check out the ostriches!!

Good place for geodes and petrified wood. He has some really cool pieces but very pricey. I would've bought some bookends but the price was too high. I know it takes a lot of work to cut and polish this stuff. Still , great pieces though!

The woman working there was so friendly! A wonder shop! They have meteorites, petrified wood, dinosaur bones. Free samples of petrified wood. That woman was the best! Highly recommend!

Worth a stop if you need a road trip break and want to see and feed some ostriches but store is really dusty and rickety they do have some nice rocks if you're into that. But really the only reason to stop would be too feed the ostriches and stretch your legs a little bit. The ostriches make it worth a stop but no other reason to stop here. Because there are a few other places right there you can stop instead. Owners are very nice.

Besides being run down (not in an interesting way), the prices are ridiculous for things that have been sitting around for years. Not worth stopping. Very disappointed.

My wife and I stopped by and were glad we did. Friendly lady running the place and even frendlier ostrich out back (which we hand fed). Stop and spend a few dollars at places like this, cause once their gone theyre gone forever. Definitely harkens back to the heyday of Route 66 travel

This place is actually quite cool. Don't judge it by the outside. Especially good variety and quality for the smaller pieces of petrified wood and other cool stones like bookends etc.

Great service. I loved the stuff there. I bought petrified wood. Awesome. Place. You have to drive up a dirt road. And ring a door bell. I was respectful and she was awesome. The owner I think. Thanks for an awesome time.

Lights only work in part of the broken down mobile home behind the facade that is this business. Serious rock hounders will like. Decoy cars in front to simulate customers. Ring bell and wait for someone. Employee of the year picture dated 1994 I think may be his mom. 1 ostrich on site.

I love this spot. I’ve been visiting for decades. Gisselle and Taiwan are awesome thank you for everything. I hope you’ll always offer the amazing minerals and petrified wood for the public to experience. Rare and Beautiful treasures to behold here.

The awesome Ms. Gazell is a gem among gems. Stewart's has some remarkable specimens. It isn't your typical tourist trap gift shop. It's an adventure. Don't be afraid to pull up, take pictures, go in and look around. You never know what you will find. Stay, listen to a bit of the history of the area. You won't be sorry.

We had fun choosing some small, raw petrified wood pieces to take home. The guy who helped us was incredibly nice and patient. He showed me a meteorite and explained about it and even let me hold it! That was so cool! Definitely worth a stop-it is a fun, quirky place. If I wasn't flying, I'd have loved to buy a larger piece for my car or some slag glass. Make a few minutes to stop-the kind people who own/work there make it a true gem!

Fantastic experience. She was so fun to talk to and gave us a ton of information about the rocks and the ostrich. Wills go back next time we are in the area. The driveway in is a bit bumpy, but it’s worth it.

WAY BETTER PRICES THEN THE PARK GIFT SHOP!! I got some petrified wood for $80 that would be $300 at the park! The lady that helped me was very nice even gave me two little petrified wood for free! Definitely go visit!

The owner was stoned but other than that This is by far the best experience I've ever had in any store or attraction the lady who co owns the place with her husband Is the nicest person I have ever met besides my own grandma she gave us free petrified wood, geodes, and other thing and even let us choose geodes and gave them to us for free. I would give this place 20 stars if possible 40/10 would reccomend to anybody I can recommend it to. Definitely coming back again.

Had such a great experience at this place! The kind lady running the shop let me take my time picking out a few petrified wood pieces and made great recommendations. She even let me pick out a freebie! Will definitely be coming back here for some larger pieces! Helps that I only live a few hours away :)

Cute place! Good selection, small pieces were great prices. Salesperson was the perfect balance of friendly but not hovering. Ostriches were very tall. Excited to crack open the geode I bought.

This was a very...odd place to say the least, but it was an interesting little stop for us. We stopped because we seen numerous billboards prompting us to feed the ostriches! The kids enjoyed feeding them! They were a bit aggressive but we weren't sure how often they were being fed, so they could have just been hungry. The little store on the property was a bit dirty/dusty but it is in the middle of a desert area. The merchandise inside the store was really cool, petrified wood and geodes with other little trinkets.

After driving around and through all the pot holes in the drive way, we got to the door. It had so many signs about masks on the door you couldn't see in. We didn't have masks so we skipped it and went to the next rock shop to spend our cash. The driveway was much nicer. Maybe next time.

Not much going on here. Extremely overpriced items. Don't buy any "fossils" as they are all fake casts. They had an Ostrich, which was neat, I guess. Kids might have a few minutes of entertainment feeding him.
