Excellent produce section, nice deli and bakery items including cakes and donuts. Gluten free section too. Rotisserie chickens and wings to go.This small Safeway might fool you from the outside. There is almost everything you could possibly need here. ✅ Compact yet extremely well organized with plenty of staff to help you.The produce section was more organized than I have ever seen. 🍅🥑🥕 🍠😯💯There must be some good management here is all the employees seem to be engaged with what they were doing and aware of all the customers.The only odd thing I noticed was the locking bathroom... But, before I could ask for help and employee said "Need help opening it?"Also, right across the street from the historic Wigwam Motel.

Let me tell you, we just stopped in for some food for our RV, and there were digital coupons and member discounts all over the place! I asked a cashier how to get them, and in 2 minutes I did it on my phone! I was asked if I was finding everything OK more than once. I even found a couple of clearance items, and the produce was very appealing to look at and i bought a bag of huge oranges for $5, and they were the best! At the register, same cashier, scanned the code on my phone, and I got ALL of the discounts! I saved $30 and got 8 bags of groceries for under $100! It was so quick and simple, and the cashier, wish I could remember her name, was so nice and helpful, and seemed genuinely happy that I was so happy. If in the area again, I will definitely go there again! UPDATE! We went to Safeway in Cle Elum Washington, and I bought $108 worth of stuff and paid $61.95! Get the App, Check the digital coupons and all of the discounts!!!!

Stopped here for a grocery refresh during a long roadtrip. Staff were really friendly and helpful. James helped me pick a few groceries that I was stuck on and was overall really pleasant. Didn’t get anyone else’s names but just a good Safeway…gave me a really positive impression of Holbrook

This stores prices are on the rise! $100 gets you about 4 bags of groceries anymore. I just paid $3.99 for a gallon of milk! And $5.85 for a small package of hamburger.

They have the best deli food around. I love deli food, and I'm seldom disappointed with their selection. Always fresh, and the service throughout the entire store, is filled with professional and kind acting employees. I love going shopping here. I would recommend 1000%

I do shop Safeway. This one is about its location.I always stop here. It is on old Route 66!This store is busy, locals and tourists.But again it’s that Where it IS,is what I want to bring attention to.Across the Hwy Route 66 from Safeway is this great landmark.

Fairly fast shopping. The clerks are very friendly and helpful. The meat is fresh and the area is kept clean, which I appreciate!Almost done with a remodel.Not a large store. I was looking for rock salt and they do not have any.Prices are high here because they ard the only store in town

Worst fulfilment department ever. Made a small order yesterday as I'm broken down an RV park and waiting for my RV to be fixed. First delivery came more than two hours late. Ordered strawberries bananas and tomatoes and other basic. Fruits came unedible. Took me an hour and a half just to get the delivery fee reimbursed. Thought I'd try him again today quite frankly out of desperation. Fresh vegetables came bruised, order chicken thighs and offered chicken breasts as a substitution.... That didn't even show up. The only good thing out of this is that GrubHub drivers that do their delivery are super nice and seemed like they value their job. I'll be eating fast food until my vehicle is fixed.

Super nice and employees were very helpful. Specifically one worker named Alley that went out of her way to look for something that was in a different department since she was only in produce! She was so friendly and easy going! I felt so bad that she was helping me look for something so simple and was hiding in plain sight, but she was super patient and personally ensured that I got what I needed instead of referring me to someone else. If I have any trouble again I think I'd look for her to help me once again! Thanks so much Alley! ☺️

nice, clean and pretty well stocked. the store is a little small but it is packed with good stuff. you can also order online and pickup or have delivery. the online ordering app system is the first I've tried for groceries and it was fairly simple.

I called at 10 am Sunday to make sure my sons medication would be ready today. I called Thursday to refill. I got to the pharmacy and the lady was very rude. She said she called me to say they didn't have his medicine. I did not receive any phone call. And another customer in front of us was also told that 1 his of medication wasn't available. I was talking to my son when she interrupting my conversation with him 3 times asking what I said? and if was any of her business. Pharmacy needs to have better management and more professional services. I drove 1 hour to the store to be told his Seizure medication was not available. Now at the ER with my son.

Let's talk about their bakery and deli. I do not know who runs their kitchen, or how they run it, but... everything they make is made with love and care. Everything. Makes me want to actually live here, so I can always have that feeling of being cooked for by my grandmother.Update: A year later, we bought a house, here. I'd like to think this Safeway had a role in this decision. Nothing beats a friendly hometown grocery store.

I've always loved this Safeway for their low prices and the deals but something needs to change about the food. Everything I get from there I have to check, because, it's usually outdated. Just the other day I bought two $10 packs of lunchables (rushing to get home so I didn't check) that expired the day I bought them. The bologna, same thing, along with a long list of others. I shouldn't have to worry about my family getting sick because of expired foods, this should be getting checked on a daily basis to assure customers aren't buying expired products.

Very nice Safeway. We picked up some sandwiches. They were made to order in the deli. I thought they were better than Subway and cheaper. The store was really clean and the staff was very helpful. They were pretty busy, but it was Saturday afternoon.

Atmosphere was good, store was clean and debris free. The employees were polite. The only problem I had with it is that" it's a little bit pricey". The meat department is excellent ,other than that it was a great experience. I did use my Safeway card & saved a little bit of money. Would recommend anyone going through Holbrook, Arizona, to stop in! That is my review, thank you very much.

Clean. Good Variety of groceries and produce. We are RVers so the stop was easy on our way to the next location. The side streets are wide and there is plenty of room to park a 35 foot 5th wheel and it’s tow vehicle on the side street. There was some space across the street as well.

Thank you to the Baker!I went in to get cupcakes for a birthday and there weren't any. I went to the bakery counter to ask if they were planning on putting any out soon. The Baker came up to talk to me and said they would probably put some out later today. She offered to take an order for me but we needed them sooner so she went back and frosted 24 cupcakes for me and brought them out. I really appreciate her doing that!

Thanks so much to the manager for taking my husband to get water to fill our small water tank in our camper from his house. What a great customer service store. Clean, well stocked, great deli and fresh food counters. We restocked our camper cupboards and we are on our way. Thanks again

This is the 2nd time the manager on duty threw my money at me, 4 quarters and 1 dollar bill. I wanted to call the police and file assault charges but my sister talked me out of it. She said I was wasting the police time. Never am I stopping there ever again. Poor management at its best.

Front end manager Tina was rude, unhelpful and snapped at cashiers in front of multiple customers. I'm not from this area and her complete lack of customer service makes it hard to want to shop when she's working. All other staff were very friendly and items in the store were easy to find.
