Well haven’t been here for over 10 years. It’s is our anniversary weekend and I had to share with my husband. The food was amazing! The service was friendly and we just loved meeting one of the owners Sandy. Everyone was so enjoying the evening and we left stuffed!Thank you Sandy and Irene for a wonderful conclusion to our anniversary weekend!

In the very small town of Greer, AZ there are few option for dining out and The Molly Butler Restaurant is the best of them - and busiest. Centered on the main street through town the historical lodge and restaurant is very charming and any seat in the place has a nice view. Great rustic atmosphere and well chosen decor perfectly matches the spirit and charm that is Greer. The menu is much like that of a typical steak house. We ordered two of their ribeye dishes. The quality of the cuts of meat we had were not up to par with many of the steak places we've been to in the same price range. On our visit we found the meals to be just okay and didn't live up to the delightful upscale look and feel they have created. That said, if you're in Greer, it's a "must visit". The staff was wonderful and the views make for a great backdrop for a nice dinning experience. Absolutely make reservations and call in advance to confirm hours of operation as they can fluctuate throughout the seasons.

This is a must-experience when you are in the White Mountains of AZ! It is located in beautiful Greer, so the scenery is fantastic. I highly recommend reservations or getting there a bit earlier than they open. We went for dinner, but they are open for lunch a few days a week also. The restaurant itself is upscale rustic, complementing the mountain scenery. The hostess Irene was friendly, helpful, and attentive. She answered all our questions and helped us choose menu items. Our waitress Mikayla did a great job getting our orders correct and keeping our drinks filled. Since we had 7 of us, we tried a good variety of menu items ranging from spaghetti with huge meatballs to filet mignon to mahi mahi. The mashed potatoes and gravy were amazing. All of the food was delicious! We were so full, but we wanted to try dessert. I ordered a slice of cherry pie, planning to take one bite and then take it home with me. It never made it to the take out box because it was probably the best piece of pie I've ever eaten. Seriously. And I've tried a lot of pie! I highly recommend this place.

Have been here twice and this is a mountain gem. Food is always spot on, service is great and atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. Was there in June and had steak/butterfly shrimp and sides, delish! A few new places have popped up over the years but Molly Butler continues to be the anchor of Greer!

The best part of my trip to Greer/Sunrise was this restaurant. The cabins here are beyond over priced, the ski mountain was pretty sad...but this restaurant experience was just perfect. Not only was the food great, but the service was simply the best. You felt appreciated as a client. The prime rib was 3x better than the village tavern in Scottsdale. Highly recommend! Hope to come back for some Bread Pudding!

Super good homemade food that is 5 star! The fried chicken is amazing. The Molly's Special Steak with thinly sliced ribeye grilled and smothered in Mormon gravy was the best. The vegetables in port wine and honey sauce were fabulous too. Could eat here every day!

Pickup order. I got the prime rib with the loaded potato and clam chowder. My wife got the bbq wings, which were large and tasty. The food was excellent 👌. It was one of the best seasoned PR I've ever had.The service was great with the employee giving us helpful advice on local information. Very friendly small town attending in a 'no-nonsense' approach. The atmosphere was extremely comfortable. Dining in a wooden lodge with sports on the HD tvs on the bar side and quaint, comfortable accommodation on the dining side along with views of the pine trees throughout the establishment.Would 100% recommend!

After a full day of hiking, this place hit the spot. It was packed when we went on Saturday night and reservations are highly recommended. Food was delicious and service phenomenal. As the only place in town to get dinner, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food -- it was obviously prepared with heart. I ordered the Fish and Chips and my husband had Molly's Steak. The fish were perfectly crisp and the steak was tender. The fireside seat was perfect for the rainy day too!

This was our first visit here. There was little about the experience that made me think it would be worth making the drive to eat here again. The hostess couldn't find our reservation that we made the previous day so, we had to wait about 30 minutes for our table. She seemed like she might be having a bad day and even acted like she thought we were lying about having a reservation.Servers were friendly and provided great service. Food and drinks weren't bad; weren't great either. I did like the loaded chili and the tortillas that came with it were a nice touch. I just wish there was more of it. Their idea of a "bowl" is what most places server as a cup. In fact, portion sizes for all dishes were kind of small for the prices charged. Not that prices were that high considering Biden-flation that's hitting all businesses.I don't know if the bartender was just having a bad day too but, that's no excuse for her behavior. When I asked if they could make a particular drink (it wasn't anything special), she just looked at me and handed me a menu without a word. When I chose a couple of drinks from their menu, she had to look at the recipe to make one of them. A couple sitting at the bar said they didn't find the bartender particularly friendly. Personally, I thought she seemed almost surly. They have outdoor seating but, it's not covered and it was raining so, we didn't get to take advantage of that. That was too bad since there's a nice view across the street. The next time I eat in Greer I'll either go back to the Rendezvous Diner or try out Edelweiss Resort and Restaurant, which, I've heard good things about.

We were invited to join family to meet up in Greer and have lunch. We walked into a rustic and cozy place and felt right at home. With spectacular view, the servers were welcoming and prompt, the atmosphere was calm and had plenty of room. I ordered the Angus burger and onion rings. My wife ordered their ham and cheese. We also had chicken wings. I could have eaten there all day. Everything we ate was marvelous and delicious. Worth a trip out to enjoy a meal with friends and family and get away from the hustle and bustle.

Very welcoming and attentive server. Crispy but juicy wings. I got them buffalo style, not too spicy but nice and savory. Crunchy onion rings, probably house made. Tasty French dip. Cozy, rustic, chill atmosphere.

I wanted to thank the Restaurant leadership for replying to my review. I agree patience is needed and respect is both ways. You don't allow reservations in advance, otherwise we would have made a reservation when we booked our vacation months ago. And I'm curious why my daughter was refused to sit in the bar? It is 100% legal according to the Arizona Department of Liquor and we felt discriminated against and it's really strange you won't serve food in the bar like probably every other bar in Arizona. This is customer feedback to improve the dining experience at Molly's.Kid-friendliness: Kids are not allowed in the bar.

Great food. Staff was very nice and helpful. Not enough waitresses for the amount of guests they has while we were there. But still great experience.
