Very friendly, animal loving staff! It has been so nice to have a great veterinarian on site, as well as a wonderful highly qualified trainer Joanne. Our yorkiepoo Leo, a small dog,spent two nights and three days boarding at Exceptional Pets in Sahuarita while we were out of the country. I was very pleased that they had a play area with toys and exercise equipment just for small dogs where the dogs spent most of their days (with the exception of lunch time) and allowed owners to bring in their pet's beds, crates, blankets, favorite toys and their food. Leo was happy when we dropped him off and Happy when we picked him up. What better feedback could we ask for?

I have taken my dogs to 3 different groomers who all did a horrible job. Exceptional pets did an awesome job. My babies look beautiful. I am so happy, I made appointments for every month for a year. Yeah!

Took my small Maltese mix dog to get groomed. He usually HATES being groomed & is ready to jump into my arms afterwards. He came out VERY proud of himself & happy!!! They didn’t over trim & listened to what my grooming preferences were too! Before & after pics!

Brought my dog in today, Otto is a wire haired dachshund. Very hyper, friendly dog. Loves everyone. He had an appointment with Jennifer, and I couldn’t be happier. I know that she had her hands full with him!

Pet handlers are wonderful. Alexis is very attentive, kind and genuinely loves dogs. I felt confident leaving our pup without feeling anxious leaving our Gracie.A nice yard with splash pool and freedom to come and go to inside area.Sean and Rene were also taking good care of her.Highly recommend this facility.

Connie went above and beyond for our fur baby! The young man at the front desk was also very kind. To be totally transparent, I am an absolute helicopter mom and we adopted Toto from a shelter so… we’re not the easiest customers. But Connie saw right away that Toto just needed a little, ok maybe a lot, of extra patience and she was able to help him feel safe and calm enough to stay and be boarded for the night. This was important to me not just because I love my dog but also so I could attend my Grama’s funeral with the peace of mind that he was well cared for, and that’s what happened. I am grateful for Connie’s help, experience, and professionalism and will be bringing Toto back again soon as they also have grooming services. (Connie, if you’re reading this, you’re a rockstar girl!! Thanks again for saving my bacon!)

I take my 2 dogs on a regular basis to Exceptional Pets for grooming. This was a new groomer. I have a Morkie and a Maltipoo. My Morkie had a laceration on his left eye from the groomer. I immediately took him to the Animal Care Center of Green Valley on an emergency visit to treat his injured eye. Exceptional Pets refused to take blame and refused to pay the vet bill. DO NOT TRUST YOUR FUR BABIES IN THEIR CARE!!!

I took my dog in to be groomed for the first time. The staff were all very nice and I was able to talk to the groomer to tell them what I wanted. Emmy looked so good after her appointment! I'll definitely be back!!

Took my girls ( 11 yr. old chihuahua mixes) in for their “meet and greet” yesterday. I love the idea of this meet and greet which gives the staff, you, and your dogs a chance to get acquainted before you enroll them in Day Camp.The facility is really nice and my girls shared a 3 x 5’ kennel when they weren’t mixing it up with the other dogs. They seemed to enjoy the whole experience as did I…. all looking forward to their first day of camp soon!The staff was more than helpful and I enjoyed the Report Cards they received which perfectly matched each dog’s personality as I see them, saying a lot for Ally’s (tech on duty) perception!

All the staff work well together to coordinate and provide a tailored experience for each dog and their owners. The care is customized so as to serve each dog's tolerance health and safety throughout their time at Exceptional Pet. Communication with this dog owner has been excellent!

everyone at exceptional pets was so kind and genuine! i took our 4mo old poodle to get his ears checked. he was very well behaved (especially after the treats 🤭), but even if he hadn't been, i could tell the techs and vet would've still been great. i appreciate their honesty and care!

Some mornings of supplements skipped. She lost some weight, but seemed to enjoy her stay. It was great for socializing her at her own pace. More accepting to owners training than other boarding facilities in Tucson. Exceptional Pets didn't try to "untrain" her. She's back to her routine within a day of us returning.Please get the doggie cams up and running so we can check-in while away. The staff couldn't give us any help over the phone, hence the 4 rating.Roxi will visit Exceptional Pets again when we go out of the country. Thank you boarding staff for taking care of our girl.

Brought our kitten is for blood in her soft stool with only a phone call not an appointment. Staff took us in real quick examined out cat, ex-rayed and prescribed treatment. All with a friendly manner. Facility is clean and warm. We’re very pleased with them.

They keep telling us they did her nails as asked. Four times they did not. Please don’t lie to my face and charge me for something I didn’t get. Wonder if she actually gets stay and play benefits. We have no way of knowing. Some of the employees are good. We feel she’s in a safe place while we’re gone.

My dog Ginger loves coming to day care at Exceptional Pets. She also loves her trainer Joanne and is always excited to see her. Jennifer is her groomer there and Ginger gets a great cut. We will be using the veterinarian services soon also.

We stopped in this AM to see if we could get our dogs nails trimmed. The receptionist was very nice took the info and Charlie had his nails done quickly and perfect. We are visiting from out of state and would use them again.

Today was my first time there. I love that they require meet n greets before allowing dogs to participate in day camp. The facility looks great and everyone at the desk was friendly. Bonus points, employees bring their dogs to work and they're adorable.

We took our doodle in for grooming and could not be happier with his cut! He is a little over two years old and has never had a better cut than the two from Exceptional Pets. I would happily recommend the folks at Exceptional Pets to anyone. We love this place from the veterinarians and groomers to the reception staff everyone is professional and courteous and goes out of their way to pay attention to their customers.

Cut my dog's nails without permission, having taken him out of the room away from me as they say they need to for the visit. They cut his quick and made him bleed but didn't mention this to me. I only found out when I got home and saw that they'd put the nail in starch to stop the bleeding before returning him to me. They didn't mention it, clearly trying to hide the error. I won't be returning.Edited to add name and apt time: Sherman at noon today
