This is the only grocery store here in Globe. What's nice though is if you're visiting downtown and want a quick bite or to stock on some bulk item food- you have an affordable option here. Also, they do have off-street parking lot which makes shopping convenient.This Safeway is smaller than other locations I've been at- however it does have all the main necessities such as deli hams, meats, etc.The packaged food I've had here has been pretty fresh. Checkout though can be a bit slow, since I did not see self-checkout and they only had 2 or 3 manned-aisled open. Only other downside was their restroom situation - a bit not so clean, but at least they had one.

Honestly this used to be a good store about 6 years ago but now, The employees suck at their jobs and are nothing but rude!! I’ve been in there a few times the past month and have had nothing but a terrible experience. They should fix how they treat people.

Been visiting this store for the last thirty years. And while it isnt large as some it still has the best meat in town (in my opinion) out of the three big ones here in town with the prices being comparable on everything else to the other two. Plus it tends to be less busy most of the time. Always good to stop by and do some sale shopping.

Customer service was great and I also bought a hot deli ready to go food. I had to ask for my refund because a long strand of hair was found in it. We were upset and disgusted.

The manager was exceptionally helpful! I wanted a digital sale item and could not get the coupon to clip, he spent several minutes figuring out my delimma graciously! It is more by the day to be tested as if I matter. The store was clean, usually is, and most employees friendly and helpful and do NOT stand around talking! My favorite all around store!

The prices are high just like most places. And the digital coupons only work half the time. I ask if the coupons go through and I am told by the cashiers yea. But after I pay & get my receipt: that is when I realize I have been overcharged. Then I must stand at the customer service register to get the difference refunded. This happens about 50% of the time that I shop at Safeway. Unacceptable as far as I’m concerned. And the customer service has really gotten bad. There is a young cashier who will argue with customers. I don’t like to shop somewhere where I’m not appreciated.

1st time shopper at this store. Very clean & neat! Found everything I needed with ease. Loved that they had ample Cashiers!! Very impressive in today's world.

I have given this place the benefit of the doubt.. but the cashiers aren’t friendly. The one guy always seems to be in a mood. Honestly I only like being in the store when Jonathan is a cashier? I believe that is his name. He treats everyone nicely . The vegetables are great here though.

Yes it's higher than other grocers, but if you plan ahead and utilize the Safeway app on your mobile device there's so many great coupons to help you save better than Fry's or Walmart. I've watched my total bill go down from $179 to right at $100 before. Great savings, but sometimes it would be nice to not have to rely on app coupons in order to get the best price.

This has the be the worst store I have ever been in too. Customer service desk was rude. Poor single cashier was overwhelmed with customers and the manager was too busy to help his/her employees

Good, but you can tell some of the basic groceries are on the rise. Still here in Globe we are limited with grocery stores, but out of 3 Safeway has the best produce, with competitive prices.

We go to this Safeway because they have the best steaks in town. Other local stores steaks are very tough and dry. But these are juicy and more tender. Good on the grill.

This isn't a Super Safeway but they have everything I need. I love how its right in town and always an easy quick trip. Oh, and all the cashiers are always so friendly and helpful. A+ from me.

When I said I wasn't yet a member, instead of getting me signed up it a courtesy member discount for first visit I got charged full rate and told to visit the website to sign up so I can get discounts on future visits. Very poorly run and handled. I'll just continue to go to Fry's and Bashas in the future.

The staff are fine it is clean and if you don't buy your meat there then your probably not buying meat lol. But they need a deli and they need to offer wifi while shopping though.

It's not very big so there's not much variety. It's also one of the more pricier grocery stores in the area. While it has gotten better in the past couple of months the amount of time you can stand in line waiting to get to the cashier is ridiculous sometimes.

I visited this Safeway to change my baby and grab a drink since I live in Phoenix and came down for tribal percap. To my surprise the restroom had an out of order sign, which since the Globe banks/businesses have been so accommodating and welcoming to business was very odd to me. I asked a woman stocking eggs right outside of the restroom if the restroom was REALLY out of order, she said yes the toilet didn’t work, I said do you have a changing table in there I just need to change my daughter she said “No we don’t” this hostile tone made me question her response, I heard a door open from the restroom area so I look and the restroom is clean and the toilet is fully working! I was completely shocked! This woman swore up and down it did not work when it did! I will NEVER take my business here again and will tell everyone I know, that is just flat out WRONG!!! K
