I got this bunny Sunday I notice he was sneezing a lot Monday came and saw white stuff in his nose took him to the vet and was told him was sick before we got him the vet was asking more money for medicines and I took him back to this store asking to help and all they offer was 50 dollars not even for the vet cost . I had no other choice to give him back and I pray you people take him to get the help he needs he was only 2-3 months . You selling sick animals to people. And not to say we got other rabbits at home he could have got the sick as well ! This is so sad I wish this store could close down !

So I came here to buy a cage for a bird I was getting off craigslist and upon seeing they had tons of birds I fell in love with a whiteface cockatiel and two days later went for him. First and foremost let me say this. My family owns a farm, I grew up on farms, I have raised several flocks of chickens but where my heart really lies is with the ducks. I raised them and bred them. I had did so much researching on their appetite, behavior, their breeds, their living environment, how to treat them when they are sick, and have had to hand raise several babies myself. Its one of the most rewarding jobs in the world. We can't just love animals to keep them well and safe we must educate ourselves on their best well being. That being said these poor ducks had zero food or water. I mentioned it to three workers while I was there one of which, Omar, told me "baby ducks don't really need much water they don't drink it they just play with it." I was speechless. Baby ducks not needing water? Well Omar let me educate you a bit since you care more about selling birds then caring for them that all ducks including babies NEED WATER TO SWALLOW FOOD. They simultaneously drink as they eat because of this fact and in most cases feed is set on top or along side of water for this reason. Yes babies are prone to drowning so a waterer is fine for the stage you guys have them at but it was empty and so was their food and they were eating bedding from the waterer trying to get just a drop. I went ahead and filled it myself at your water fountain 10 steps away from where they're kept. And the baby chick's piled ontop one another also with no food many injured and one was being picked at by the rest because it had an open wound. I now live in an apartment otherwise I would have bought that little chicken myself. I have video and pics but haven't figured out how to upload them yet. Do better pratts.Update: here's a video I took, it shortened it to 30 seconds and cuts off where you hear me say the water the ducks were drinking in the video Is the water I provided them. Its quick but they were all just trying to get the last bit of food out the bottom of all their feeders it was so sad. By reading previous negative reviews im expecting a defensive and condensending response from the owner, but I could careless. I care way more about neglected animals than I do about hurting peoples feelings.

First time coming in and there was a line waiting just to go inside. This store is a nice little find especially the distance from us. Any time I came in contact with a store clerk, each were courteous and so informative of items I needed. They even offered new products that could benefit my animals that were having sales. Great place, great people. Only thing is they are closed Sundays. But still a great little store

Be very careful if you purchase pets from this store. We purchased Three lovebirds and when we got home and opened the box, there were only two. When we came back to the store, we were rudely treated and told they had to look at their security cameras. After waiting for over half hour, they said they gave us three and that was it. There was no care or concern about what happened to us and frankly, we are not impressed I would not recommend them to anyone. If you need Pratt birdseed, you can get it from other feed stores in the valley. They deserve your business more than this STORE does.

The staff was very informative when I asked questions. Iām thinking about getting a few birds here in the future. The prices here are super good. Compared to pet smart youād pay 600$ vs 40$ which is super crazy. One thing I did notice tho is that the cages inside where the ducks and the chicks are is there was zero water. Maybe because itās over crowded and they spill it but yea it was very dry in there. I noticed the baby ducks had zero water and looked like it had been dry for a long time and the baby ducks kept trying to drink water and there was none. Like I said staff was very friendly but they way they take care of the animals inside, well just the ducks pretty much and the baby chicks, kind of makes me second guess getting them here. The replies from this place on the reviews is like no other. Has me rolling in laughter šā¦. āWe apologize for your sub par experienceā šššš

Prattās Pet in Glendale is a great store. Their employees are always so happy and helpful. I love that I donāt have to carry my big bags of dog food out to the car. They always seem to have the answer for my questions and they have great prices. I will definitely be back.

Pratt's Pets is a real 5 Gold Star gem of a pet store. From bearded dragons and turtles to turkeys, roosters, and goats, Pratt's Pets offers a choice of literally hundreds of different pets. The staff is very knowledgeable about the animals they care for and focused on the customers they serve. I highly recommend stopping by Pratt's Pets for a visit. For certain, the experience is worth the effort!

I was just in Pratts Pets and they had 5 puppies in a cage with no water. I said to the kids that they needed water and he said they have some in the hanging bottle. We walk to other side of store and on our way out we past the puppies again as the kids working their put the hanging water bottle back up filled with water. Those 5 puppies were doing everything they could to get a drop. I felt so bad for them all!

Always an adventure, coming into Pratts. If you've not been to this location, be aware it's guarded inside by beautifully bushy chickens that roam the halls (seriously)Huge variety of animals, and the food & fun that goes with them. No fish, sorry.

Customer appreciation day was great yesterday. Lots of good deals for all kinds of animals. All the staff were very helpful. My only issue is the lack of parking at the Glendale store especially on this day when so many customers were there.

Horrible pet store who does not care for animals. They are willing to let a sick ferret die in their care instead of getting it help. I would watch any animal from them as Im sure more , have health issues. They do not deserve even the single star

If I could leave zero stars I would. It was a typical busy Saturday morning. I got there a few hours after opening.I went in the back to look at the chickens and found one I wanted to look at.I looked around and no one was out back so I went in and asked 3 different people to help and everyone told me there should be someone out there. If there was someone out there why would I ask others??Anyway, once I finally got a worker (tall, bigger, native) to help me, I pointed at the chicken I wanted to see and he caught her but then threw her in a red net bag (think the back onions come in at the grocery store) and she got stuck at the top (which hello, obviously their toes get stuck in the net) and he violently shook her until she fell to the bottom of the bag and laughed. I immediately took her from him because her wings were being bent funny and her feet were obviously mangled.I checked her over and besides being visibly panicked and scared she was OK.She had lice so I wasnāt gonna get her but I couldnāt stand the thought of this happening to her again so June Carter came home with me.I attempted to address my concerns with a young Hispanic woman who identified herself as the the assistant manager. Once I was done talking to her and I went to check out, I noticed the worker who helped me had been standing close to overhear the conversation, and was laughing about it with the assistant manager. The chicken didnāt choose to be at Pratts. Itās a living creature and should have been treated far better.Iāve spent hundreds at Pratts as it was my go-to place for over 10 years. I even referred my friends and family. Never again will you see a single penny from me or mine. This was unacceptable. If your workers donāt want to be kind and compassionate to animals, they shouldnāt work at a pet shop. It wouldāve taken an extra maybe 5 seconds to properly put her in the bag or a box.I have NEVER seen an animal treated with such little regard at a pet store let alone Pratts.

Nice pet store. We stopped here while visiting family in Arizona and loved it! Lots of products and animals and the staff were all very kind, letting me hold and show my two year old daughter bunnies and baby chick's. If I were a permanent resident this would be my go to place!

They have a great variety of chickens. I come here all of the time to stock up on chicken food. One of my chicks was healthy. One was actually sick with pasty butt. After that experience, I noticed a lot of chicks there have pasty butt. Itās not a hard process to clean the poop from around the vents of the chick, and I hope they work on keeping them a bit more healthy, especially for people with not much knowledge on chicken sicknesses/diseases. After care at home, theyāre doing pretty great! Theyāve grown up fast. Prattās Pets is the only local place I know that sells everything you need for chickens.

This place has the worst customer service. The parking lot is terrible. No one pays attention. We went in and couldn't find our dog food that we had previously purchased and the lady said to us. "Where would it be at ? Do you see it?" We stated we didn't which is why we're asking. She then said "If you dont see it we don't have it." Wow is I can say. We will go back to our old store in El Mirage. They know how to treat customers. This was even our second time here after our first experience was about as pleasant as this one.

Pratt's Pets and Feed has been a neighborhood AND Glendale staple for decades & they are an AMAZING one stop shop for your pet's needs. If you are looking for a new pet, other than a puppy or kitty, you'll find one here. They even have animal medical services once a week which is VERY affordable and convenient. Do yourself a favor and check out Pratt's Pets and Feed, you will NOT be sorry you did.
