I got a fancy leopard gecko a few months ago and still occasionally stop by for food, excellent service but packed parking lot. Almost forgot, we also got a blue orchid betta, which was apparently extremely aggressive, and when we tried expanding his tank it didn't end well. The betta killed two dwarf frogs and when we separated him to put mollies, the frogs kept dying. However now we have it under control. *Update* Now we have a baby nerite snail problem.💀

One this day I had pet Grooming done next to where I have my Dog VET Banfield.I had not been able to get my dog groomed for a long time and he was a mess.They took care of him like a charm. They groomed his face wonderfully.Thank you.

Clean, professional. Follow the normal rule of adopting a dog on the weekend because it's "cute." Mangus assisted us with our adoption and the staff was attentive and followed all safety/disease protocols. It does NOT smell like heated pee. There is going to be a fee for adoption, based on breed/size. We got our dog on the free weekend promotion and it he needed a little tlc and was 7 yrs old. That age was great as we had a potty trained dog and his disposition was solidly amazing. Don't overlook the doggies who may have need for meds for any medical issue and those that have been there a little longer. They also give you tons of amazing coupons and one gives you up to 6lbs of free dog food and a coupon for a free vet visit. I would go here again to the 2 locations (Dobson and Miller Rd in Scottsdale). Best experience ever.***also, there is a 90 day rule to surrender your dog if it doesn't work out (shame on you, if you wait that long). After 90 days there is a surrender fee.With that being said, here is Mr Smores aka Turbo

I have been going to this spot since it opened. Always clean and great staff. Tons of parking and well lit. Easy entrances from 3 diffrent directions. Not loud and pets are welcome to roam. The inside Banfield hospital has a great staff and are very loving to your pet. Kid friendly. Highly recommended to all.

Our home can be compared to Wild America. We are huge animal lovers. A convenient, affordable pet store is important to us. We are regulars here at this location. Just stopped by yesterday to pick up a new decoration for our turtle tank. Staff is very helpful, well educated on products, pets, and super friendly. The store is never dirty or disorganized. (I would definitely recommend signing up for the rewards program, it will pay off)

My dog was so loved! Gabby and the rest of the team did awesome. My big baby dog gets nervous but they kept him so comfortable, and also are so nice if you call in with any questions. He definitely felt himself after his bath and brush! Thank you all, and Gabby!

I found the shelves not well stocked. I went to the cashier to ask if a brand of Purina cat chow was in stock, since the label was on the shelf. She asked me if I had purchased that brand at this store before? I found this an irrelevant question; either it is in stock or not. She called into the back and within a second the answer was we don't have that. How could anyone have checked that quickly. I will not go back to that PETSMART again!!!

I have Ben wanting to buy a frog for a long time and I finally did it lol I love my frog so much his name is linguine lol and I honestly thought he would probably die within the first few days I had him just like all the fish I used to buy from here did but he is so happy and healthy and eats like a fat boy lol I would definitely buy from here again!!!

Amber in Grooming is amazing with our dog Snowball! We have her bathe and give him a haircut regularly. Snowball is sooo excited every time he sees her. All the ladies are nice there but we will always ask for Amber. Thank you Amber!

I literally need a cat cone and they closed at 8:39pm when they said they would be open until 9 pm. My cat needs a cone until I can go to the Vet in the morning and they closed early. That is so wrong

Outstanding service & price. Savannah & Lance are happy & look amazing. I recommend the Furminator cleansing. I am confident that they can be difficult but with this crew I wouldn't even know. Got a great report card back from the groomers about the dogs. The dogs look happy to have been groomed & and that is most definitely a first! Beyond statifised.Update 8/31/18Back again & even better service. They look incredible as always and they are happy. We are going to make it point to be back every six weeks. Thank you Tabbitha.

Nice place even if they do act a little high brow, like there better than you. I also did not like being followed around like I was going to steal something just because I have tattoos. I spend 3-600$ a trip on dog food, treats, etc every trip I'm not a thief. Store was clean, had full shelves, large variety. Rude workers.

The store was great and the staff were polite and knowledgeable. I could not ask for better from them. However the bathroom was gross. The floor was uneven and the sink and toilets were aggressive. I was not prepared for the Niagara Falls that spewed forth from the toilet when I flushed.

Large location with a decent variety of pet related goods. LOVED that they had hundreds of live animals to look at. In my experience, the other pet stores will offer a few of each pet (sometimes only one) This location had a plethora of everything. I was especially impressed to see the urgency the staff employed when the noticed an animal they suspected could be ill. Immediate removal and carted off to their on location vet. Bravo ladies. It made it feel like they really cared about the animals, regardless of that being true or not. Perception is what makes the world go 'round.

Rude cashier older skinny woman slammed her scanner when she had a problem scanning my phone. She had a attitude the whole time trying to help me.Another occasion i had a black guy get a attitude with getting my order pick up. I don’t see how they work here with animals with negative energy.They need to hire nicer staff with courteous customer service skills. I won’t be coming here anymore for my products. I have a pet and would never want him around this energy.

The ßanfield staff are amazing. I'm grateful they answered all of my questions regarding my kitten. I'd give more stars of I could. They have a ßetter selection of friskies cat food for my kitten. The cat food inside the cans are prepared fresh. Not like another store I went to.

It has everything for any kind of pet you can think. The staff is helpful from the minute you walk in the door until the second you check out. You can adopt pets - get your current pet groomed and vaccinated - you can personally sit with your choice of potential pets and interact. Very Nice - Very Friendly - Very Good Choice for your furry buddy.
