This petsmart should have their whole grooming dept fired. We had a first time visit with summer at this location. They berated my daughter when other dogs were being aggressive towards my dog who was just whining and scared. These people are the most incompetent people and should not be around animals, or in customer service for that matter. I wouldn’t trust these people with your animals. Because other dogs were being aggressive and my dog was whining one of the employees yelled at my daughter to control my dog (who was only whining) and that she couldn’t work under these conditions. Ma’am you’re literally paid to work under these conditions. She was rude and condescending to my daughter. A kid! Some man yelled at my daughter because his dog was going ballistic and the women didn’t defend my daughter, the yelled at her too!! Do yourself a favor and don’t give these people your business. Looking at other reviews we probably dodged a bullet because of all the pets they have injured. I wish I had looked at the reviews first.

Waited for way over hour to talk to trainer. 3 salespeople that were assisting me told me to wait, stopped helping me and they went to help other customers. Left me standing there waiting. This happened at least 6 times. The 1st sales lady told me to buy this rawhide type bone to put in dogs kennel. Dog will not even go near it. Also too big for her to chew. Total waste of money. She also told me I needed to buy one of their plastic chews. All of them priced about $20. each. So glad I didn't waste my money on one of those. Obviously she didn't know what she was doing. Only interested in making a sale. Very poor customer service 😢

I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience at PetSmart (Banfield Hospital). Despite multiple assurances over the phone that my dog’s surgery would be fully covered by my insurance, with no out-of-pocket expenses, the reality was starkly different. We had three separate conversations with staff members in the weeks leading up to the surgery, each time reconfirming that we would not need to pay anything. However, upon checking in for the surgery, we were blindsided with a demand for up to $600 in fees.This situation is unacceptable and reflects a serious breakdown in communication within the company. The shock and frustration of this unexpected financial burden were compounded by the fact that we had taken a day off work to manage the surgery, only to end up not proceeding with it. It’s incredibly stressful to deal with such scenarios, especially when you’re already anxious about your pet’s health.The lack of consistency and reliability in the information provided by PetSmart Hospital has seriously undermined my trust in their services. Future customers deserve clear, accurate, and reliable information, especially when it pertains to something as critical as the health and wellbeing of their pets. The entire experience was not only a waste of our time and energy but also a clear indicator of the need for improved customer communication and transparency.

Our dogs stayed at the PetSmart Hotel. We have used this pet hotel before and feel our dogs are safe when they can't go with us out of town. Great place!

I had to run out of town, left my 6 month old blood hound puppy there at the pet hotel. Everything went smoothly until I came to pick her up. The front desk lady stated “she had a poopoo accident and had to clean her up” for me. In other words take her back and bathe her. It took a bit to realize but she hopped in the car on my lap and poop went EVERYWHERE!.!. I don’t believe they even bathed her just claimed to. Just a ⚠️warning⚠️ to others before going 🏼

My Labradoodle was here for 6 days. Wasn't happy with the care they are playful dogs they segregated her like she was a vicious puppy. For 600.00 that's ridiculous you put you dogs with similar dogs.

First time at this location. It was decent. Interesting, they have a pet hotel here. I've never seen one. Unfortunately, I visited this store to see if they offered the other options of the medicated food I see online at Amazon. Unfortunately, they do not. Afterward, I wanted to take a look at the pet hotel but had just finished a dental procedure and was dealing with a swollen mouth. So, I'll check it out further next time I'm in the area. I recently visited this location again after another dental visit. I did not make it over to visit the hotel. I'll have to do that another time.

Not a fan of PetSmart veterinarians office.Office visit is $67.50 (but your first visit is free from the office visit fee), you don't get a private room as soon as u get there, you have to wait a while before given a room. Last time there a fight broke out between two dogs that weren't in rooms.The Veterinarian's we've had were very good.

Great aquarium supplies and artificial/live plants, as well as fish, birds, and reptiles. I didn’t see any dogs, but there were some rescue cats to adopt. Plenty of other general pet supplies.

Went to the Petsmart on Bell and 73rd Ave in Peoria after visiting my mom (not my usual store) and was happy at how fast the visit was. Ample parking, close to store, attentive and friendly associates who helped me find what I wanted. Easily found my items and checked out. Cashier was fast and friendly. Clean store, too.

Staff is very friendly. I buy all my pups food here. Blue buffalo. I have lots of pets and they love going to pets mart cause they get the Pat's from staff They have almost everything you need. It's pretty clean and it's not hard to find parking. No complaints from me. #FRANKLINDUHPUG

We board our dogs here when we travel. The staff is amazing. They remember our dogs names and give us an in depth report of how they did while we were away. I just cannot say enough good things about the pet hotel staff. They're great people and they really care about your furry kids.

Brought my dog in to be groomed. It was by far the worst hair cut she's ever received. There are long random pieces around one ear. When i asked the girl about it she seemed upset. So i spoke to the manager all she said was the girl was on loan from another store. I'm so disappointed, will not be back! 3/30/2023

They always try to tell you what fish you don't want. We started an aquarium, and just wanted gold fish. They tried very hard to convince us that gold fish are not good for a 10 gallon aquarium, we didn't listen to them, and I like my gold fish tank very much.

4 stars for a Clean store and Helpful staff. My only complaint is having to give my phone number and email in order to get the prices listed. I HAD to give both. If give 1 star for that as I was only picking up something for my daughter that I normally would not so why make me feel like a hostage to get a better price. SO many companies are getting hacked and personal information is out there. How do I keep myself safe when companies like this INSIST on having our information. Ridiculous. Probably won’t be going back. The staff was amazing and understood my frustrations and kept apologizing. Time to change your policies PetsMart.

This location was great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. As soon as I went in every employee was smiling and genuinely advised what items were best. I arrived as soon as they opened. The sliding door was broken and an employee had to open and shut the door for each customer because it was a warm morning. She continued trying to fix the mechanism on the door and before I left she was able to fix it! Some of the workers greeted, pet, and loved on my pups with no hesitation. When I was ready to check out the employee told me that specific harness wouldn't last on my puppy long and advised that I get another that was the same price. The harness looks great and I know it is something he can grow into. Glad I stopped by.

They have a wide variety of pet food, even has my fussy kitty's favorite canned food. I enjoy taking my two Chihuahuas to PetSmart for a trip out with them. PetSmart is one of the rare places that allow dogs inside. Fun!!!

We love this location. We go in often for upkeep on all our fish and to buy more fish. We also let our One year old daughter walk around and visit with the animals. She has since learned how to say Cat and Bird. She meows with the cats. And gets so excited to see the birds playing in their well managed cages.. Thank you PetSmart..
