Best help I have ever received regarding fish/fish tanks. Armando helped me with all of my questions and concerns... and I got the natural habitat I wanted, without needing to spend a fortune.The best part, is that my fish are doing amazing and seem really happy. The live plants are doing great and the fish LOVE the dragon stone..The whole crew here is great, but I will always be grateful for the knowledgeable service and patience (I had SO many questions!). Thanks again! 😁So grateful. 🙂

First time we got our husky groomed here, there were no problems and her hair was well cut/cleaned! Second time, they scheduled a 9am opening appointment. We go in and they allow all smaller dogs to go first before our husky as “We have a lot of 9am appointments and they are smaller/quicker to groom.” Not taking a chance getting our dogs long hair messed up because they are overbook/unorganized. Go here if you need a quick groom not a quality one.

I took my dog to be groomed by Madison F. My dog looks amazing! Madison was done in under two hours which I appreciated because I don't like my dog kenneled for too long. She understood how I wanted my dog groomed and did exactly that. I will definitely take my dog back from here on out.

Be sooooo careful getting your pets here i got a python just 2 -3 weeks ago and it’s infested in mites not only did i have to treat it but buy so many solutions and mite spray since i have more than 7 lizards and snakes it was a mess cleaning everything and having to continue to buy paper towels because all of the water and wood decor i had for them has to be wash or thrown out the amount of time and money this has took to try to keep up with is insane not only that what an inhumane way of keeping these pets they are literally suffering and dying and no one cares !!!! Not only did i lose money but mite even lose pets do to this petco do better 😭 i added photos where u can clearly see the mites by its face and on the paper towel!!!! It has made a wound under his chin from how infested he is this is horrible!!!

Been shoppimg there for awhile now and everybody there is great. But today Jesse found my wallet in the parking lot and refused the cash in it after I begged him to take it. He restored my faith in humanity and deserves a raise.

We love Madison F. She is an amazing person , very friendly, very professional. My dog Chanel is very happy with her. She is also quick. I go to that location because of Madison F. I've had great service by the traveling vet and by the groomers. The prices for various services by the vet are very reasonable (vaccinations, chip, etc) and the grooming service (provided you don't take all the 'special' services!!). Prices for pet items can be a little pricey but they will have a variety of choices which help. Employees are friendly so they must screen for those who love animals!

I went to a couple different pet stores looking for tanks… and WOW they had so many options and for extremely affordable prices! They also had lots of stuff for turtles unlike PetSmart who had absolutely nothing! I highly recommend coming here to check out their supplies before purchasing anywhere else. I’ll most likely come back to check out other stuff for my dogs too! 😊

Fish section is hit or miss. Sometimes they will have some nice fish and other times there is nothing. No fish food for XL fish. Getting assistance in the fish section is almost always slow at this location. They always seem understaffed. I would recommend going to a family owned fishstore instead

This Petco is easy to find, has smoke parking near the store, is always clean, the employees are always smiling, our items are almost always in stock. Sometimes our dog food isn't in stock the 2-3 times I go there looking to buy it but everything else we buy is in stock.

A poor fish was stuck to the filter. We let the workers know, but no one ever came to help the little fish. The store was empty. The 2 workers up front were just talking. I'm not sure if they ever called anyone 20 min later. The fish was still there, and we ended up leaving.

We absolutely ADORE the groomers here at this location! Every time we bring our fur baby Dixi they so beyond excited to see her! Madison and crew take such great care of her while we run errands or relax at home. We recently adopted a puppy from a local shelter so we are so grateful to have a trusted groomer who can see our dogs on a regular basis. Thank you all SO SO much for all you do, it doesn't go unnoticed.As for the store, wonderful clerks, and they are always great help. the store is always clean and when Vetco is available, they are amazing and helpful,p you out with whatever you and pup needs.

This story was took over by a few months back and we could really tell a difference in the store! The fish department was way better than it usually was but last couple of weeks things have gone downhill. Can’t get help in the fish area we were ready to buy a tank and supplies but no help came. And now they close at 6pm they were all still there and I asked to get some frozen fish food right at 6 as people walked out the door I asked if I could get food and the manager said they already closed the drawer then told me to go down to Avondale thanks a lot

Went today to get a heat bulb for my tortoise. I usually use the competition but today I was near your store so I decided what the heck try something new and I am glad I did. Kaelynn was helping me and she was extremely knowledgeable and very aware of your products I ask for a heat bulb for my turtle she directed me to a water proof bulb and I apologized to her she was a tortoise I call her turtle and she changed me out and even found me a price match. I will shop there from now on.

I walked in the door and was immediately greeted by a friendly staff member. I was not familiar with the layout so it took me a bit to find what I was looking for. An additional staff person in the store would have been helpful. The clerk completed my transaction easily and was very pleasant.

Not only is everyone helpful here but we're able to find the quality food and items needed for our pets other pet stores don't carry. The sales are a plus but the program they offer to get free dog food is a HUGE bonus especially since we don't buy our pets the cheap stuff. Petco makes Pets Happy 😊

This has got to be the most disorganized, trashy, unkempt store I think I've ever been in. Dead fish, dead plants, boxes and carts everywhere that are filled with products to be put away, cleaning supplies left on shelves, clutter everywhere and hardly anyone around to offer assistance. Dirty!!! I feel gross and irritated every time I walk in. I PRAY the animals are rescued from the hellscape that is that store. Shameful and lazy!!!! Get it together.Update 6 months later.I convinced myself to go into that store again because it's closer to home and I was OVERJOYED to see life in the pets and plants, and the overall cleanliness of the store has improved significantly!Thank you so much for taking my concerns seriously! 😢 I felt bad because I have pet fish and many plants in my home and seeing the condition of the store before was heartbreaking. 🙏🏻 I am so grateful to your staff at this location for stepping up their game. It really shows that your efforts have improved. It feels much better going there now and I'm sure I'll stop by more often.✨️Keep up the great work! Your community appreciates your hardwork a lot!! I made two grooming appointments here at Petco. During the first appointment, after waiting 15 minutes in line for a scheduled appointment, the groomers informed me that my dog’s rabies vaccination had expired. However, on the actual rabies certificate, it is documented that his rabies vaccination is still good for another 3 weeks. The grooming stylist at 9480 W Northern Ave Glendale, AZ 85305-1104 informed me that I could get my dog a rabies shot at the Vetco clinic later that same day and can schedule another appointment in 24 hours, which I did. At the second appointment, 48 hours later, the groomer told me that they will not accept my dog due to his very mild heart murmur. But two days prior, the groomer told me that it is perfectly fine to bring my dog as long as his rabies vaccination is updated. Explain this PetCo policy to me. Is Petco discriminating against my dog because of his health condition. Would Petco like me to neglect my dog because of a heart murmur? Heart murmurs in dogs are very common, so is Petco telling me that they discriminate against all dogs with a heart murmur? When I booked this appointment, Petco said that they would work to accommodate my dog and his personal needs, but clearly that is false. There were three occasions where a Petco stylist, veterinarian, worker, or groomer could have told me that my dog would not be able to receive a service at the Petco grooming salon. But instead, you wasted my time by providing me with very vague and incorrect information. I even took off work to take care of my dog, but Petco clearly wants me to neglect my dog’s needs. The Petco stylists were rude anyways, and that is okay. My dog is better off getting his needs met somewhere else. My dog and I have been very loyal customers to Petco for years, but we will take our business elsewhere from now on. I will not allow Petco to treat my dog this way. I refuse to let Petco's actions go unnoticed.

I always enjoy Petco! I love when they have ferrets in. The employees who I have interacted with have been professional and knowledgable, as well as friendly. The one complaint is that I wish that they were open later.

Store is closed. 9:11am on a Thursday! Lady from grooming came to door and said Due to Short staffing... Why did the manager fire all the employees then!??! Avoid this store! Management has declined drastically on the last few months. Dead fish, out of stock, Too much headache for a pet shop

I was looking for a non prescription medication for my cat and found very few items for cats. I don't know if just out of stock or you just don't carry them for cats. There were plenty for dogs. I was a bit disappointed
