Not my reg vet, but needed to have my cat's mats removed. These people (Doctor KC and all staff) are great. They were not only professional, but helpful, knowledgeable, and cheerful too. I was impressed and recommend them. Office visit cost was reasonable. In addition, my cat is really happy.

We moved from out of state recently and needed to find a vet for our 2 dogs. Did a Google search for local vets and found Apollo. So incredibly happy that we found them! Dr. Wright is absolutely amazing and was very down to earth. You can tell that he loves his job. He personally called me the following morning with bloodwork results and answered additional questions that I had regarding treatment for one of our pups! Top notch and highly recommend if you are in search of a vet for your fur babies!

When I called they were very kind and they were able to get me in right away to get End of Life Services for my dog, when multiple other places I had called had turned me down or said they were booked out for days. My dog didn't have that long. These people got him in fast and they were kind and quick and let me stay with him until the end. I'm so grateful to them

We have been taking our dogs to Apollo Animal hospital for over 20 years. Dr. Chuck Toben and Dr. K.C. Wright are exceptional practitioners. They're both very personable and knowledgeable and spend whatever time necessary to make sure we understand everything discussed and questions answered. The staff members are awesome. We have never had a concern since the first time we took our first dogs, Jesi and Max to see them. We get email and regular mail reminders for shots, annual exams and other necessary communications. We highly recommend the entire staff and facility to anyone looking for a vet.

This veterinarian hospital is more than likely the best in the valley. Charles Tobin is a fantastic vet with many years of experience. His daughters also practice here (not sure if it is his daughters, could be his sister(s) and or his wife and daughter), but my experience has been with Chuck. Great guy, and passionate about his work. He has been investing in his business by purchasing state of the art equipment as well. My only knock on the place is there are 2 senior office personnel that seem to have perpetual dour expressions, but they are professional and given thier age they have probably experienced a lot of tough situations in the performance of thier jobs, so it is understandable. They are nice ladies, they just don't smile much, but I am sure they are invaluable to the place. They also have grooming and boarding staff and facilities here as well. I also appreciate the very large lobby, as it helps to give each animal ample space between them to help keep the lobby calm, which in turn helps any nervous dogs and cats. The pricing is fair, but pet care is just not cheap, but they don't gouge here as I've found at other places. Same procedure here is several hundred + cheaper than other places in my direct experience, but Dr Tobin is the main reason I go here.

I took my two spicy chihuahua girlies and my weiner dog puppy to see Dr. Wright senior and he was so great and patient with all three. I got them all vaccinated, mani, pedis, and three surgeries scheduled for all three in about 45 minutes. He took the time to answer all of my questions and go through all of our options. I have seen different vets at this office and they have all been great. I wont go elsewhere when it comes to my best friends!

Very good vet. They also have boarding (which I haven’t used) and grooming (which I have and will continue to use). Waiting room has good amount of space. Was seen on time for appts and they saw my dog immediately on one occasion. Staff is professional. Vets are competent and I have received follow up calls to check on my pet from both veterinarian and staff. My one complaint is that they need at least one additional person at the desk to answer phones, check out after appointment, and check in animals pre-op. It’s not unusual to get voice mail when calling during business hours. Check out takes longer than it should which can be difficult with an animal who is tugging and eager to get home. Pre-op check-in recently involved 8-10 animals coming in at same time with only one person to start the process of signing forms etc. The slow process creates unnecessary stress for animals and humans, with dogs whining and cats complaining. I still recommend this vet and hope they will consider hiring additional staff. It’s a successful business. Surgical procedures are booked 3 months in advance and grooming can be a month out but I’ve never had trouble getting an appt with the veterinarian in an appropriate length of time for the particular issue.

Dr Toben and his staff are amazing. We have been bringing our bulldogs here for 5 years and always have had the best service, he is super honest and caring. Dr. Toben has been there when we had to put our akita down and even delivered our bulldog puppies. We will never go to another vet for any of our dogs. Highly recommended.

I’ve been to a few clinics in the area and never went back. I was skeptical when I had to take my purebred cat in for unknown issues. The clinic was clean, staff was helpful and friendly and Dr. Wright was amazing and I’m very happy overall. I found my forever veterinary clinic.

Oh my God, I cannot begin to tell you the level of care, and concern I was shown by the staff at Apollo. My Schnauzer, Duncan who had been my best friend for the last 16 years. Duncan had been suffering for the last 2 months and I had a decision to make. When I spoke with Dr. KC Wright, he said we can run test however, they would only tell us what we already knew, it was time to put Duncan down. Although I knew the pain would be on the same level of when I lost my Mother, it had to be done. After listening to Dr. Wright he was so very kind, comforting and compassionate, I felt peace. Instead of getting the ashes I got a paw print in a nice leather case with a place for pictures. I highly recommend Apollo Animal Hospital.Kimberley D.

I decided to take our dog to Apollo Animal Hospital after trying a vet here in Prescott, AZ. Being that I was not impressed due to multiple mistakes I now drive 1 1/2 hours away and can say that it was the best decision. Dr. Corrin Toben is super knowledgeable and is such an asset to the veterinary profession. I worked at an animal hospital for 12 years and can tell you with the utmost confidence that Apollo Animal Hospital is the best!

My doggy hurt himself at doggy daycare and ripped both dewclaws. They got us in right away and the Dr came in on her day off just to see Colt. The Dr explained everything to us and what she was going to do. Apollo has an amazing staff and doctor. I can’t thank them enough for how they cared for my baby Colt!

My dog is very sick and not only was the staff very friendly, but they also watched for a cancelation and called to get my dog in to see Dr. H. Wright. Who not only examined my dog himself in the room with me present he took a lot of time to review and explore a lot of possibilities and gave me directions to care for my dog at home. Dr H. Wright called the next day personally to check on the progress and demonstrated care and true interest with the health and wellbeing of my dog. This clinic is head and tail above the clinic I took my dog from (that did not offer personal care and interaction with the pet owner) Thank you Apollo Animal Hospital staff and Dr. H. Wright.

Just went in for the first time with my dog Doobie, I was amazed at how knowledgeable and caring the entire staff were. The doctor addressed every concern I had and even gave us a free bag of pill pockets for my dogs medication that was prescribed. HIGHLY recommend!!

I have never in my life worked with a more compassionate veterinarian before. Dr. K.C. took every single call with kindness and compassion and we honestly looked forward to seeing him with each visit, even though some of them were really tough. He is honest, straight forward, has the bedside manner of a saint, and actually got to know our family for who we are and what our pet loved. I am honored that he is the one that watched over our baby bear and I hope that one day in the future we will have a reason to go visit him again.

There have been many dogs (10) and one cat who have been lovingly, gently, expertly cared for by Dr. Tobin and staff for the past 33 years…1990 -2023. Everyone goes out of their way to enfold you as part of the family as you entrust each of them with part of yours…the four footed ones in my case. Great time is taken by Dr. Tobin to not only explain the condition and answer every single question you may have but the visit is followed up with a phone call(s) to see how everything is going. Part of caring for my pet was also caring for me and patiently educating me to the health concern. These last few years, because of my handicap, the front office always came out to my car to take my dog in and bring him back to me…followed by Dr. Tobin coming to my car to go over everything. They all did so cheerfully and I am deeply grateful. After 33 years I am moving back to Wisconsin and will miss this “extended family” which Apollo Animal has become. Yes…the Practice is highly trained, knowledgeable, and current but they do everything with LOVE. A Hospital with a HEART.

I'm very protective of my dogs and every person that works here clearly love the animals they work with, they explain everything clearly and charge a fair price. I have a vet next to my office and that would be the easy thing to to but because of the way they treat my dogs I have no problem driving and extra 10 miles to see them. Thanks guys!

Definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had. My poor kitten Coco was dealing with a dislocated hip. I brought her to the hospital early in the morning for a checkup. Even though the hospital was booked and all of the Doctors were busy, Doctor Corrin had a chance to visit Coco within 20 minutes.Dr. Corrin is the best !!!In addition, all of the staff are super kind, caring, helpful, and supportive. After Coco was released, the hospital kept following up on the status of Coco which shows how caring the staffs are. Will highly recommend this place. Very clean and neat

I couldn't asked more for a better care. My husband and I have our vet at Luke AFB but they could not do anything else more than medical exam and vaccines and small run test such as leukemia. They then recommended to us to find a animal hospital for emergency care since my male cat, Heinrich Artorius, seems having a UTI.After called around to many hospitals and emergency care, we decided to choose Apollo Animal Hospital based on review on Google Maps.The other hospital gave us a price quote for $1500, Apollo gave us the quote around $200 or more depending how many test or treatment. They didn't scare us about how bad the situation. The other one scared me by saying if it goes untreated it could be fatal. But I don't think it is necessary to say that especially if the price is high.Our vet was Dr Shannon Carrey DVM. Though we have been told that she is just a part time but she did an amazing job handled my cat.She checked thoroughly his bladder and I could tell she is very detailed of what was going on with Heinrich.She also gave us quick estimate and the price was very reasonable given the situation of my cat was having then.The vet technician was also did a good job. I don't know his name but he put clean pad inside our carrier because my boy was peed during a car ride.We definitely satisfied with the care they have had provided for us. I will updated later for my cat progress. So far he seems okay and he loves dry and wet food that the vet put in his diet. Total spent around $237.52

How do you rate a place when you walk out in tears?I'm not from the area but knew i needed an appt for my cat after she started acting really out of character. It was odd to say the least.My sister in law referred me here because she's been taking her pets here for many years and loves it.Tiffany answered when i called. I explained how my cat had started to walk in circles along with a couple other oddities. There was mention of a possible inner ear infection or something worse, like a stroke. She found a cancellation and fit us in for the next morning. She was friendly and professional.We brought Frosty in for her appt and met with Dr. Corrin Toben. It wasn't long before she explained that my cat was blind (what the hell? I didn't see that one coming. And no pun intended ). After several questions, and exam she explained that it was highly likely that Frosty had lost her eye sight as a result of high blood pressure which also likely caused some organ failure and possible brain damage. That would explain why we didn't think Frosty was going to make it through the night, prior to the appointment.Toben offered no judgement when we decided to put Frosty down. The procedures they have in place to streamline the process was great. She explained the steps and gave us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. They provided a call button to use when we were ready. Someone also came in our private room to take payment so we wouldn't have to wait in the open waiting room and could walk right out after everything was done.She let me hold and comfort Frosty during the three step IV injections. Shortly after the third and final one Toben checked for a heartbeat and calmly said, "Frosty is in peace now." I'm starting to well up as im typing this. That phase was so incredibly comforting and peaceful to us.Thank you Dr. Corrin Toben and the entire staff for helping us through a very difficult and unexpected time.
