I am disappointed to leave this negative review. I’ve taken my dog here for years to get a bath and brush. She is a herding dog and vocal when in anxious situations. I have told the groomers this, and made notes about it. Never had any issues. I booked a grooming today to have her bathed and brushed, but the tech I normally booked with doesn’t seem to work here anymore. After paying upfront and getting my dog from the back, a groomer (I presume a manager) essentially chastised me for my dog barking.She said it was “endangering” other dogs, because the dog barked and other dogs got nervous. First off, my dog didn’t even get a cut, just a bath. They bathe them in the back as far as I know. Second, they told me not to bring my dog in on the weekends.. as if I knowingly wanted to cause issues.What it really seemed like was the tech didn’t want to deal with a hyper dog, and essentially told me not to go there anymore. I pay almost $100 to have professional groomers bath my dog. I fail to understand why I should be shamed because they have to do their job… handle dogs and groom them.Additionally, there are several dogs barking every-time I’m there. They’re dogs — they bark. It’s in their nature. Anyone who is good with animals would know how to handle this (like the tech who used to work with my dog).I never had any bad experiences with grooming here for years, with the same dog I brought in today.Whoever is now running the show has horrible customer service. They tried to pin the failure of their job on me, as if I had a very aggressive dog. I hope the store management takes note.

Went in there with my dog about 4 days ago first to start off the store was clean and staff were very helpful. Went in looking for a durable and well fitting dog toy, The wonderful lady pointed out a rabbit and shark made by Tuffy took it home and my dog went crazy for it!! Such an amazing toys and last us a while! Will look more into this brand for future purchases!!

We’ve done the beginner and intermediate class with the instructor Nate, I will have to see he is AMAZING at his job! He has a ‘magical’ way with the pups and has really helped! The store is always clean and the employees are ALWAYS super friendly! By far the best pet smart I’ve ever been to.

Went to try to buy a dog. It's very confusing people walking around then they have a drawing which I did not know it's a three ring circus. I will not shoo at petsmart and I'll tell my friends not to go to a petsmart to shop. A horrible experience

My 13YO, 12# rescue dog has stopped eating standard dog food. I have tried everything I know to do, the vet dog food she would sniff and walk away, would not even try it. She had been passing blood in her stool, she has been throwing up but continues to act starved and very interested in food. We just didn't know what other dog food to try. We were even considering euthanasia.By chance I met Shawna as she was returning carts to the store. Shawna took me right to Wellness Complete Health small breed dry dog food and recommended I mix it with Nulo small breed lentil & turkey with I mix with the dry dog food and top it off with NaturalTopper digestive support formula pumpkin & oatmeal.We are thrilled with the results. Our dog looks forward to feedings, her bowel movements are firm, form & solid-NO blood.It is because of Shawna that our dog is now thriving, happier & looks forward to her twice a day feedings.I can't say "Thank You" enough to Shawna for her listening skills. I explained how our dog was acting and Shawna steering us to a food source that is not making our dog literally sick to her stomach. THANK YOU again Shawna!!

We love pet-smart! They have a good selection of toys for all sizes of dogs so far our favorite brand is Tuffy, most toys don’t last us awhile until a friend recommended Tuffy went into pet smart and my dog knew the exact toy he wanted. It’s been the best toy and decision I’ve made because I don’t have stuffing all over the place, it’s still holding up too! Too all my dog moms or dads I HIGHLY recommend Tuffy!

This is the nicest PetSmart I've been to - I have actually driven many miles out of my way to go to this store instead of several closer PetSmarts. The store is super clean and well-stocked. I can always find what I'm looking for here. The employees are fantastic, very kind and helpful. I hope they're paid well; they definitely deserve to be!

The associate was very helpful in helping me size a surgical vest for my dog. PetSmart had exactly what I was looking for. I thank them and so does my dog ☺️

I would give a negative review for the store if I could. I went in for pest snails which every store is supposed to give for free. The woman in the fish department said that she wasn't gonna waste her time with that and gave me a bag with water to "help myself" -- mind you I have been there waiting for at least 10 minutes prior to this. So here I am elbow deep in tanks trying to find snails for my pea puffers and another worker comes up to me and tells me that I'm not allowed to put my hands on the tanks. So I inform her what the other worker said. She then tells me that they close in 2 minutes and escorted me out all while berating me about why I'm not allowed to put my hands in their tanks. I asked if the employee could come back and gather them for me, and she said "nope. Not tonight. We won't be helping you any further." She literally pushed me out the door. Won't be coming back.

Went for the dog adoption with follow your heart. But along the way, of course we left with items for our pup at home. Nice, organized, friendly staff store. I will make it my home petsmart because of that!

If you want to book a grooming for your dog, save yourself the time and effort and don't book at this PetSmart. I had an appointment scheduled with Dee to get my dog groomed and it was bad from the start. As soon as we walked in we got a horrible attitude from her. She is super unfriendly and so lazy. She kept complaining about my dog's size and how she's too strong for her to handle (even though my dog was behaving very well) and how she does not have time to even do a quick wash, EVEN THOUGH I HAD AN APPOINTMENT SO THERE IS DEFINITELY TIME. When I scheduled I had mentioned the services I wanted and she completely disregarded everything I had said. Do not book with Dee. Do yourself and your sweet dogs a favor and find a much more professional place. This was such a waste of time and energy.

I had my dog groomed Wednesday morning August 30th. ValVista/ GuadalupeNever again will I be back. The girl who groomed my dog needs more training. I am so unhappy with my dogs groom I could cry. I am so sorry for my dog.Someone should look into the grooming department.

My dog loves the groomers! I used to go to the OTHER pet store and he would come back from a haircut clingy and hiding. We've only been here twice, but both times he was calm, licking the workers hand. A HUGE difference! We will definitely go back here!!

Today I had an encounter with a team member at this location and it was not the greatest experience to have. I unintentionally arrived 10 or so minutes late for our appointment due to a wrong turn. I accept that the fault is on my side for arriving late to the appointment. However, to hear how annoyed they were with me did not have have to happen. I'm happy they were able to show that they were not happy to startwith because I don't think I would be comfortable leaving my pet in their care.

Standard PetSmart, I wish it had a pet hotel but not a big deal! I come here every other weekend, if I show up a little too early (sometimes I come straight from the dog park in the morning, not realizing they’re not open yet), they’ll usually let me and my dog in :)

Brought my shih tzu to be groomed here while on vacation as this place was recommended by a few family members. Groomer informed us that he had matting (which he did not because I brushed his hair a couple days prior) and would have to shave his hair a little bit shorter than what we chose. I picked him up and his hair was very short, he has not been acting like himself because of how uncomfortable it feels for him. We took him to the vet and he also said the groomer did not need to shave his hair down so short.

I want to publicly say thank you to the staff at this Petsmart. We purchased a Syrian hamster on 5/10 for our daughter who had done all of her research and was overjoyed getting her first pet. Within a few days we noticed he wasn't doing well and called the store. They instructed us to take him back so they could have a vet examine him. We were treated with kindness and compassion. I was called within a few hours of dropping him off to let us know that a vet has examined him, provided a diagnosis, and this little guy wasn't going to make it unfortunately. Again, they were very compassionate to us given the circumstances. We paid for none of the veterinary care but know we did the best and most humane thing for him. Hamsters get sick, it was not their fault but they took on the responsibility anyways. We will be back to find another friend for our daughter soon. Thank you to your staff who cared and treated us and this animal so well.Update: We got a new friend today and Courtney was wonderful. She knew who we were and the situation. She was so patient and nice to us, letting our daughter look at every hamster to make a choice. We went with her recommendation and he is amazing! Thank you again for treating us and the animals so well, we can tell how much you care.

Literally the worst PetSmart grooming location the valley. Arrived 5 minutes late due to an accident on drive. Waited outside the door because with Covid procedures and stuff. Went inside the salon at 139 and another lady told me the groomer stepped out. Proceeded to say she gonna text her about arrival. Groomer comes in at 144 and then tells me, “Because you are 15 minutes late and you are my last last slot, I’m going to have to reschedule.” First off I arrived at 135 and others were getting checked in before me and she looked at the clock and I was waiting on her for about 5 minutes. Been getting my dog groomed at PetSmart since she was a puppy and to get this service at one of their locations is horrendous. I had to change locations because my closer one had a mixup with the times. Now I will continue to only specifically go to my local one since obviously the standard of service is not the same at all locations

Been to this store multiple times to pick up online orders. The curbside pick up check in process using the app is non existent at not just this store but all the PetSmarts I’ve ever tried to use that service. Always have to call and it takes a few minutes to get someone to answer the phone. Often I just give up and walk in the store and tell who ever is closest I’m here for curbside pick up which at that point is no longer curbside. It’s like the check in process using the app alerts no one and no one mans the phones for curbside pick up. Not sure if it’s a tech issue, training issue, or employee issue. I appreciate the concept. Just wish it worked better.
