The trainers at Paw Commons, Gilbert, have been extremely helpful in setting a foundation for our stubborn girl Fiona to get the steps she needs to became a better behaved pup. She trained with Allison and the team, and we have continued to work with her outside of camp. The training team went above and beyond to answer any questions we had and to work with us on commands. We’re working on behavior with our other dogs too. I don’t think I would have been able to get Fiona to listen without their help. We are still doing her follow ups and will also be putting our other puppy through training when he has all his shots. As long as you’re willing to listen, put in the work, and ask questions, this team will change your experience with your dog. Absolutely recommend!***Adding on: Allison and Russell worked with our other puppy, Casper. He’s reactive to other dogs and at first had an issue with people too. Through their training, Casper can now walk in public and I’ve been able to take him to different stores without an issue. He doesn’t react to people, and his reactions to other dogs keeps improving. Absolutely recommend Paw Commons!

I highly recommend Paw Commons Resort- Gilbert! I took my 6 month old lab there for training. Violet was socially awkward and scared of everything. After meeting with Russell, I just knew this was the place for us and he did not disappoint! She is more confident and comfortable around new people, dogs and new surroundings. Every single person I interacted with was truly amazing. They have cameras to watch your pup in the yard and what a relief it was to see her daily while she was gone for 2 weeks. The pup sitters in the yard are able to watch what’s going on and read the dogs body language. I witnessed it with Violet. 2 other dogs were messing with her and she wasn’t into how rough they were being. The worker seen Violets body language and she was put in a different yard immediately. I can’t say enough good things about all of them especially Russell. His daily updates and pictures were reassuring and so lovely to get but mostly importantly he gave Violet what I could not. Proper training! 💗

We absolutely loved and continue to love our experience with Paw Commons, Gilbert. Our little maltipoo Logan, was an extremely anxious pup that struggled badly with separation anxiety. I reached out to Paw Commons and received a call back within 24 hours! They were extremely kind and informative and scheduled us in right away for a meet and greet. My husband and I were very apprehensive to even explore this kind of training for our little guy because of the length of time he’d be away. We met, Russell and he instantly put us at ease. He took his time and listened to what our wants, desires and needs were for Logan. With Russell’s recommendation we opted for the 4 week training program. We were so anxious and nervous to leave our fur baby for so long but Russell and the team really made the HUGE difference for us. Russell was and is Logans trainer. He kept us super informed with constant videos, photos and real time updates on our little guy. The doggy cams are also super helpful because as a dog owner I was interested in seeing the staffs daily interactions with the pups, needless to say all staff was kind and loving to all of the pups in the play yard. This really put us is at ease. The staff maintains the yard clean and loves on these pups by petting, holding and playing with them! I loved seeing that!! Russell even drove our little guy to the vet for one of his vaccines that he needed to get! He was so gracious and kind and updated us every step of the way there! I can not say enough great things! We received daily reports on how Logan’s training was going and what they were working on. Russell was always responsive and communicated effectively with us! At the end of the 4 weeks, we can confidently say that Logans anxious behaviors have diminished GREATLY!Russell was extremely kind and patient with our fur baby and spent quality time training him and it shows! Our little guy loves to play and be around other dogs now, listens actively to our commands, can self regulate his own anxious feelings and walks on his leash with little to no pulling! We continue training with Russell and it makes us so happy to see our little guy branch out and be so much less anxious! Thank you Russell for all your time and commitment you put into our little guy! Your heart and passion for these pups is apparent! Try it out!! Highly recommend Paw Commons in Gilbert. What an amazing investment for our little ones quality of life! Attached are some of the photos we received while our little guy was in “school”! He was so happy and thriving making so many doggy friends! It made my momma heart burst of happiness seeing our once shy and nervous little guy let loose and play! Logan will be returning for some fun daycare days because his bond with his trainer and staff is so precious and so evident to us! Thank you Paw Commons, especially Russell for everything you’ve done for our little Logan!

I highly recommend Paw Commons – Gilbert. I originally brought a newly rescued Australian Cattle dog for a daycare evaluation for the fact that they required one before an actual daycare stay. I had her for two months, but was still getting to know her and wanted to see if daycare would be a good fit for her. Unfortunately (or fortunately since it was a requirement), she did not do well in the controlled setting, but I did learn a little more about her. The staff was great and were nothing but positive about the evaluation. Because of the great first impression, I decided to purchase a 4-week training package to work on a few things in a monitored setting. I had the pleasure of working with Russel who was incredibly understanding of the breed (another huge bonus) and my girl responded so well with him. He provided a positive experience for my Oakley and with his guidance I was able to easily transfer the training to my home. It is nice to know that if the need arises for boarding, I have found a great place I know that my girl will be well cared for and understood! Thank you to Russel and the other staff for being there for the dogs!

Our puppy Rico has been going to Paw Commons for over six months - he can’t wait to get in the door to see all the friendly staff and his homies in the yard. The staff has been incredible - we always have peace of mind knowing Rico is safe, cared for, and having fun. We’ve used Russ for training services. He’s been INCREDIBLE with Rico, helping him gain confidence and deal with puppy behavioral issues. Russ always goes above and beyond to give us guidance and discuss issues so we can be great dog parents. You can tell he’s a true dog lover who’s passionate about his job and extremely knowledgeable. We feel so happy to have Paw Commons for daycare, training, and boarding!

BEST AROUND! We LOVE Paw Commons. Our Great Pyrenees pup has been going here for a while and she’s become so social & with the amazing obedience training she has learned so much!! She also gets sooooo excited when she knows she’s going to daycare to see all of her friends! Along with the boarding we’ve had here, it’s the best being able to check in on her, on the webcam! We beyond recommend sending your pups here! 👍🏽

We first took our golden doodle pup to Paw Commons for puppy daycare. He really enjoyed playing with the other dogs and the facility was clean and friendly. You have to go through an evaluation before you leave your pup which I felt really good about. We then scheduled the Puppy Boot Camp. He stayed with them for 2 weeks and when he came home, he was a better behaved puppy and had a great start on being a well mannered dog. Allison was great with him and seemed to really enjoy training him. Before he got sent home he also had a very nice bath and brush. We would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to others.

My Labradoodle, Archie was an anxious fella with trust issues. He didn’t come from a very good home when I got him. He spent 2 weeks at Paw Commons where they helped him overcome his insecurities. He didn’t make it easy on them as trust is very difficult for him and that had to be gained before he could grasp the basic training. This energetic pup seems like a whole new dog! He actually listens to me now, follows commands such as sit, wait, down, place & leave it. He doesn’t yank me all over the place while walking - it’s just so much more enjoyable spending time with him now. Allison shared with me a lot of tips and important information on our departure lesson to set us both up for success once we returned home. They also provided a binder full of what his experiences were while in training and how to manage his behavior at home. While he was there I was able to check in on him via their webcams and his trainer would text me regularly with updates on his progress and pictures. This was money very well spent and I look forward to returning for his follow up visit to show them how much I’ve learned and how well he has retained what he worked so hard to learn! 🐾

We have a dog in heat at home and had to get the male out of the house while we are at work, Pet Commons Pet Resort came through. When we go to pick little Bruno up, he is happy and excited to be there and to go home.... That tells me they are doing it right.I highly recommend them because they have come through for us; We have an intact male, and still they took him in, and take great care of him.... He just can't play with the general population.

The best dog boarding facility ever. This is the second time I have boarded my two whippets and both times they were looked after with such care. The gave me regular updates with photos and called me if they had any specific concern. I will always use Paw Commons in Gilbert.

I did a meet and greet before boarding during a vacation. I love this place. All the staff was very knowledgeable. They really cared for my pet. I was nervous about transitioning from another facility. But I know I can go on vacation and know my pet will be well taken care of. I love that I can check on her anytime with the Webcam! Being able to play inside and outside was impressive.

This place is amazing and the staff is very professional but also personable. I appreciate the time and attention they give my dog while grooming her. She’s a 70+ lbs dog and nervous of a lot of things. Our groomer is so sweet and my dog gets so excited to see her! They are higher priced than most groomers I inquired about on the west side of the valley, and I will keep paying that high price for the love they give my dog.

very kind people- the groomer did a great job with my bernedoodle! Definitely cut like a doodle, not quite used to it, but he looks great, smells great, and is super soft! She even pointed out some issues with his skin and offered suggestions !Would definitely bring him back 🤩

Absolutely love Paw Commons in Gilbert. I bring my dog Ava here for doggy day care weekly and the staff is always so loving towards her and remembers her name which makes it feel very personal. They also provide a passcode to watch their camera that they have in the play areas which is convenient for when you wanna watch your little one while you’re away or at work! I have also brought her here for dog boarding as well and have nothing but great things to say! The grooming as well is amazing. (I added two pics one of her ad doggy day care they love to give all the dogs some love and attention too! and the other is after she went to doggy boarding there and got groomed!) Thanks for always being amazing with my little girl!

My 1 year old puppy has trouble adjusting to anyone outside his family which leads anxiety and aggression. I was worried about his 3 week stay and but it turned out okay with a very understanding staff. While I was away I got weekly updates in the form of texts and pictures of him interacting with different staff members. I was surprised when picked him up he was just happy and not barking at anyone. Hope to use their pet training services in the future.

We were able to make things work, as my pups were shy a required vaccine. So instead of observed play, they got to hang out with the staff and were also groomed. Bodie and Phoebe had a fun time. Yeah!

I've entrusted Paw Commons with my dog's care twice now, but unfortunately, it's been a disappointing experience both times. Despite giving them another chance, the issues persisted and have left me with no intention of returning. During my dog's recent stay, communication and adherence to instructions were severely lacking. Despite clearly specifying my dog's feeding schedule, he was pulled out of playtime for an extended lunch break, contrary to my instructions. This led to unnecessary confusion and inconvenience, as I hadn't provided enough food for multiple feedings. Furthermore, there were concerning incidents regarding my dog's eating habits. Despite authorizing enticements, I received multiple calls throughout the week about his refusal to eat and requests for alternative meals. The explanation provided for the depletion of his dry food was unsatisfactory, indicating a lack of attention to detail and care. The final straw came during checkout when I discovered an unexpected increase in the price, with no prior notification of the change in rates. While I appreciate the gesture of refunding part of the amount, the lack of transparency regarding pricing adjustments is concerning. Overall, the recurring issues, coupled with the lack of communication and transparency, have eroded my trust in Paw Commons. Despite the courteous resolution of some issues, the overall experience has left me hesitant to consider them for future pet care needs. Clear communication and attention to detail are paramount in this industry, and unfortunately, Paw Commons fell short in both aspects.

Our Whiddle had to be boarded a few times while we were in Arizona visiting our son and his family. She had her own space since we weren't sure how she would do with other dogs. They gave her lots of attention. They called us when she wasn't eating and asked us if they could add some wet food to her dry food. Since this was our first time we had to board her in the 17 months that we've had her it was hard on us too. Everyone I talked to or emailed there was very friendly and helpful which put our mind at ease.

Russell is a great trainer! He is knowledgable and trains using positive reinforcement. Our 7mo labradoodle loved her time at Paw Commons, and we all learned really good practical information for raising a confident happy puppy.

I had been recommended to board my dog here, and so I did. The staff was super helpful & gave plenty of updates. Communication skills were immaculate. I was super nervous leaving my dog in the care of others, but it was an amazing experience. My dog loved it. 10/10 recommend.

I HIGHLY recommend their training programs! Allison and the training team saved us. Our sweet pup needed help learning how to calm down and play with other dogs without getting overstimulated. Six sessions later and the progress was outstanding. I was also given notes and recommendations on what to practice in-between sessions that helped a lot with behaviors at home. Allison is great at communication and works with you to determine that goals you are looking for from training. I knew my dog was in great hands at Paw Commons. Do not hesitate to get training with Allison, you will not regret it!

The folks that work here are absolutely awesome. We have a highly energetic German Shepherd who requires a little extra attention when at day care and not only do they provide that they are also working with my pup to ensure he gets the most out of his time there. Other places I have been wanted to charge extra or simply wouldn’t take him anymore but the little extra steps taken here are truly appreciated. Would give 6 stars if I could.

My pup and I just completed 4 training sessions with Russell! Not only do I now have amazing skills for my dog and I but Russ made sure that everything we worked on was clearly explained and that there was plenty of time to practice. He was receptive to all my questions and was patient with each one! He was also flexible with the training and some of the corrections we had to! Russ also made the enviornment very comfortable for my dog. Which was really reassuring. Highly recommend Russ if you are looking for a trainer!!

My 3 year old standard poodle recently completed the 3 week boot camp. I can’t say enough about how positive the experience was. The trainers were so gentle with my very sweet, very excitable boy. I was able to check in with the trainers at any time, and look in via the webcam. I was open about my concerns and anxiety about leaving Benny for 3 weeks, and the trainers were awesome about reassuring me he was great, giving me information about how he was progressing through training and examples of how he had quickly bonded with the people working with him. I will be enrolling him in refresher training in the future without hesitation.

The staff at Paw Commons took excellent care of my furbaby, Tia. She arrived with Grey fur where it was previously white and left looking beautiful! Her original color was back, her mats were gone and she had the most adorable bow attached to her color. I suspect they washed her color as well. We will only use Paw Commons for all her grooming needs. Considering using their boarding services also. ❤️🐾

I need to spotlight our experience at Paw Commons and working with Bryan. This was our first time getting our Shiba Inu groomed and I had no idea what to expect since our dog does have social anxiety and can dislike other dogs. Bryan provided so much comfort and clarity throughout the whole entire process. He answered all my questions and went above and BEYOND to ensure our dog had a good experience. We are so thankful to come across workers like Bryan. We will 100% be back and I recommend this place to anyone needing to get their dog groomed!

We have two fur babies and highly recommend this amazing place. First off, the wonderful people that work here let us, but more importantly, our dogs feel loved. Secondly, I can't praise this place enough for boarding and grooming. I've added pictures of how happy our pets are and look afterward. 💙

I have two dogs I wanted evaluated for training and was excited due to the positive reviews. I called and scheduled an appointment which was advised would be an in home visit. They contacted me days before the appointment to say they double booked and if I could do the following day. I accommodated. The day of the appointment after they were late by 10 minutes I contacted them and asked if they would still becoming 9only to be told that they are sorry but evaluations are done at the facility not at home. I could go in later today at the time convenient to them as if I have nothing to do except wait around for them. Very disappointing to say the least.

This was the first time we’ve ever boarded a dog and it was such a pleasant experience. We just rescued our dog (1 year German shepherd) she’s a little timid and they took such good care of her. They called to check in and were so communicative about how she was doing. They even noticed the highest play time package was a little bit too much stimulation for her so they dropped her down the the lower version, that showed they really cared about how our dog was doing and not about adding charges since dropping the playtime was a drop in price. One night she had a little diarrhea and they made rice for her. Exactly what I would do at home. Everyone was so nice and caring. Definitely recommend!!

Love paw commons, and Dexter can't wait for his day with friends. We use them for daycare one day a week, boarding when we travel, and grooming. They do lovely work and take good care of our pup. The staff is very kind and genuinely care about Dex. Only suggestion is to please accept amex, but not a big deal we can work around that.Highly reccomended Paw Commons.
