We made a purchase from the Home and Garden dept 2 years ago, and just got to building it last week, only to find out we were missing box 2 of 2. We spoke with the manager, who immediately began making calls, looking for the 2nd box. After a few days, with no luck, he gave us a full refund, on a 2 year old purchase!!Thank you for this excellent customer service.

Warning, if you buy gift cards from here amd request individual gift receipts, be prepared to not receive them. I bought a couple hundred dollars worth of gift cards from here and specifically asked for individual gift card receipts due to high level of fraud on gift cards but the associate did not do the proper method and so they didnt print. When I went to customer service they said there was nothing they could do including refund my money for the gift cards. Crossing my fingers they are not compromised, but wanted to give a heads up. BTW, I dont fault the cashier as he was very apologetic and customer service seemed to try to help, but individual receipts for gift cards should be a frys store process due to gift card fraud.

Yup, the floral lady is now named Barney Fife at this store. There’s a new sherif in town. No extra carts past the gates and nothing in hand. Will be considering alternative stores that don’t treat their customers like cattle

This is the best pharmacy in the Gilbert area. Brent is so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The store is almost always clean and well stocked most of the staff are very very nice. Love this fry’s.

My family just moved in next door. Metal gates at the front door of the store make you stop walking and wait to be let in, and if you turn around because you forgot to grab a shopping cart an alarm goes off and an employee will instruct you to walk all the way around to go out the exit door. This is Gilbert, not Harlem. I'll just spend my money elsewhere.

I went to this Fry’s, at 6470 S. Higley in Gilbert, yes on Thanksgiving day. It was around 1 o’clock and pretty slow there. I got sliced turkey from the deli department, and that was comical. The man (not teenager) behind the counter didn’t know how to answer my question if the turkey was precooked. He said it was not cooked, but that it was like buying sandwich meat. “So it’s cooked?” “No.” “It’s raw?” “No. It’s like buying bologna.” Okay. Moving on.My real disappointment was checking out. The young cashier, Katielyn, rang me up. My order was moderate, other than the 12 packs of soda, it fit into four bags. But Katielyn simply turned off her light and walked away after handing me the receipt. She left all my groceries at the end of the conveyor belt. Just sitting there. She didn’t have an assistant, but she also didn’t have any other customer in line behind me. So, she walked away.I, while standing there bagging my groceries, asked someone who looked to be in management. His response was that they were ‘short handed today, people called in sick’. Another man (possibly a manager) came to ask what was going on, also said they were short handed. Did either of them notice there was no one else in line?? In fact there were not even any long lines at all. I’m pretty sure, even when “shorthanded”, company policy still wouldn’t have the customer bagging their own groceries. The first manager(?) at least grabbed my chips and bagged them. 😆 Um, thanks?

Got yelled at by the floral lady for going to get a shopping cart through the gate. It was like I was stealing but had nothing in my hands. I will be shopping some where else for now on.

Very nice flowers and orchids. Got 2 Christ- mas 🌵s just starting to bloom. Has great selection of high end 🧀 and crackersNo wine bar but same wines. No suchi bar either but good fresh suchi for sale. Just a small step down from Gilbert. I liked it♥♥♥🌺🌺

Customer service is horrible. Made an online pick up order and it was a late pick up. Went to pick up and order was canceled. No one could answer why my order was canceled. This is not the first time I’ve made a late pick up order and it mysteriously gets canceled.

I live near this store and it’s the worst store I’ve ever been to. They are always out of things. Who ever does their ordering they need a new one. Also their meat department closes down at 6:30. I go to Bashes or sprouts and they keep their meat section open longer than this place. There are never any baskets near the vegetable door (they need to order more). At night they close all doors except for the exit door in the middle and people leave because the other doors are locked. Also at night they close down the self check near the vegetables which is such an inconvenience. And 1 hr before they close they announce every 15 minutes they are closing, it makes people feel like they are doing something wrong instead of being welcoming. I usually go to another store now on a regular basis because of all these issues. Do better!

I wanted to share my experience with the meat department at my Fry's by my house. Specifically, Marina and Keith are always so personally and kind. I have gotten to know them by name through the last couple years (helps they wear a name tag), but truly they make my shopping experience a pleasure. My wife and I have 11 kids, so going to the store with a 3, 7 and 9 year old is challenging to start. The staff at the meat department make the wait in line a pleasure. I love the work ethic to serve each person coming through. It's not often we get service like that in the world today. Thank you!!!

I have been living in Gilbert almost 10 years, this has always been the Fry’s that I have shopped at. Today I go into Fry’s to get groceries for the week, I am in the store shopping for an hour. I get to the checkout and the cashier says to me “Are you doing insta carts?” I answered “no, why did you ask me if I was doing insta carts?” Did you ask the lady in front of me? She answered, “no”. I asked her are you going to ask, the people behind me? She did not answer. I asked for a manager. The manager tried to tell me that he was the highest in management, and that he did not have corporate number. I explained to him that I worked for Fry’s when I was in high school. I know there is a number for corporate. A lot more was said, by the ASL Rene. I explained to him the reason I am frustrated is because this is the second time I have been asked if I am doing insta carts within a week and a half, two different Fry’s. Both in Gilbert (Pecos and Higley 1st incident) ( 2nd incident Higley and Chandler Heights). I asked the ASL if it was policy for the cashiers to ask if a customer is doing insta carts. Being a black woman in a predominantly white area is the reason why I am being asked over the white customers that check out before I do. Both incidents white alone checked out by themselves and never got asked if they were doing insta cart. People need to be aware that they are being prejudice towards a certain group of people.

It's a great store. They have a wide range of products, like organic produce, meats and cheeses. Frozen second, lots of ice cream options, and pizzas. They just started selling Bed, Bath and Beyond products in the store. Not sure what to think of that yet. They have great produce and deli meats/cheeses from Boars Head

Instacart shoppers do not come to the store, you are not allowed to use the self check out, which means you're at the mercy of the long lines and the slow cashiers, it's the same thing with the Santan valley location. Avoid avoid avoid!

Always great service and selection.I said 4 stars in the past, but recent experiences in some of the Fry's have not been so good service wise, especially getting assistance at self checkout. Will likely switch to Safeway in future.

The deli has worse hours than a bank…very frustrating. Closing at 5:00pm on a Friday, 4:00pm on the weekend? This store had been great, but it seems like there was a management change or something because I have noticed some of the longtime great staff are not there and the overall quality of the store has dive-bombed.

Normally service is okay at this location. The last few times have been awful. Cashiers don’t even speak to you, baggers pack things terribly (meat with produce), glass jars jam packed in each bag, 2 gallons of milk in one bag (milk shouldn’t even be bagged, in my opinion). Today the cashier didn’t speak one word to me and tossed my groceries to the bagger. My daughter and I watched him toss my eggs, throw apples on the scale and then toss them to the bag area, strawberries/blueberries tossed, berries packed with cleaning products, every single item I bought was thrown. I had to fish berries out of the bags to put back in the container. The cost of everything is skyrocketing, the last thing we need is to have our food ruined by the people working there. It’s the worst customer service I have received in a long time. I understand people have bad days, but this was just ridiculous. If that’s how they are going to treat customers and food, I’ll shop elsewhere.

Mrs Sarah helped me today over cheeses and jams! (2.3.2021 @10:30am) I know absolutely and she had so many recommendations. She stopped what she was doing to get behind the counter and give me samples of multiple jams and I could not resist! She is so knowledgeable about quality and product and what pairs best with what. She absolutely made my day going out of her way and I feel very taken care of. She definitely gave me an exclusive experience and I will be returning ☺️

Fry's does pretty well with produce; salads in bags don't seem to last as long. I've purchased this same type of salad at Sprouts [greenry with red cabbage leaf bits] and have had better luck with longevity. Other fruit and veggies are fine, good selection, reasonable prices.Meat is good [beef, chicken]; I tend to get choice so there are no surprises. Kroger cheese is quite good.French and Italian breads are good. Quite happy that Mexican Coca Cola is available. This Fry's is generally quite clean, no surprise smells anywhere [including the women's room]. Employees are professionally polite and generally efficient.Computer gets sale prices correct 99.9% of the time, which is wonderful. Means I don't have to babysit the register as items are rung up. I can check as I leave, with the expectation that all is well.I use this Fry's mostly [over the competition, which is closer to my house]. It's reasonably close to my house, has the goods I need..

Customer service is excellent. I want to give a shout out to Kathy who was working customer service. She was very sweet and very thorough with each and every person who came up to her asking questions. She went all out helping me in my search for my son's formula which happens to be a very special and not well-stocked kind. 10/10 would shop here again.

Been shopping at this store since they first opened. They have a super selection of brands to choose from. Produce and deli are both great. I've never had a bad experience with any of the employees. As a matter of fact a number of them go out of their way to remember who I am and greet my family. The pharmacy is a bit slow for my liking when it comes to filling a new prescription. I only say this because it's been numerous times. (Not just the one time, I'm having a bad day situation)

I love the cleanliness and size of this store. We have started using the Click List pick up groceries feature. You register online, then you have an account. You register a debit or credit card to the account in order to prepay for your groceries. You have a list of groceries, or you can search for a particular item. You click on it, and order as many of each item as you would like. When you're done with shopping, you process your order, and select a pick up time. You go to your local Fry's Marketplace at your designated time, and park in the spots reserved for online shoppers. You call the number on the sign in front of you, then they bring your groceries out and load them into your car.If you allow substitutions, that's your choice. Sometimes they aren't that close, so we don't allow them. Therefore, the clerk will come to our window, tell us if there's anything they didn't have, (sometimes there's one or two items, but usually it's not big ticket items, just smaller things), and then we drive home with our groceries! One thing I LOVE about the online ordering; it collects data about all your purchases, not just your online ones, but your in-store purchases, as well, so that when you begin to order your weekly groceries, you can look through previously ordered items if you want, for ideas. It also helps me to not forget certain items. I love this new feature!I still enjoy shopping in the store though, for items I want to purchase personally, such as seasonal decor, or to browse the lovely accent pieces they display in the small, but attractive furniture section. Also, don't forget to grab your favorite coffee at Starbucks, too!

I overslept and missed my fry's pickup order yesterday. I needed the groceries as soon as possible for a camping trip, so I drove to fry's at 6 in the morning, when fry's had just opened, and called to see if I could get my order a day late. They sorted everything out for me in spite of my negligence, and got me all my groceries, even though, unbeknownst to me, fry's pickup service wasn't technically open for another hour. Really outstanding service.

One of the best grocery stores I have ever been. The staff is very knowledgeable and when they don't know they find out for you. The fuel points are amazing and the fuel attendance help make sure I use them best for me it's great knowing your their main focus.

Have been to this store three times this week to shop. The deli...awful! Slow slow slow. Customer service at the deli - awful. When I asked for one of the items I was shopping for the woman at the deli blurted out "NO". I thought she was kidding. I was a bit thrown back and I said, "is there a reason I cant order that" she then just rudely said " we've been out of that for 3 days now."She didnt say " I'm sorry we are out of that right now..is there something else you would like?". Nope..it was just a NO. Then she walked away to sweep or clean something vs asking me if I needed anything else. After standing there for another 8 minutes I gave up and left. The prior week I spent 38 minutes in line waiting for my deli order. Terrible..

This store is clean and organized and the online pickup is awesome. We came with our two kiddos and easily found things to keep them entertained while we shopped. We normally order a Clicklist and this location is far superior to the location on combs and Gantzel. They are speedy, pick fantastic produce, and make it easy when picking up.I do think some of the aisles have things in random places, but we aren’t used to this store just yet. Would definitely recommend this location for grocery needs.

Cashier turned off his light after I was in line. 2 people ahead of me. Waited until it was my turn to tell me he was closed and I had to wait in line a second time.Had to add to my bad review. Sinjon was a painfully slow cashier and bagger. Gave me incorrect change he calculated on his cell phone at the register. Whats going on frys?
