Very well kept Campground. Pool and showers are very clean and well kept. Clubhouse is nice. Sites are spacious. Really good place to bring a dog because they have a dog park, and some of the sites even have private dog runs at them. Staff is helpful. Although, I don't care for two phone calls the day I'm arriving to confirm my arrival time. That always annoys me while I'm driving. Other than that, it is a very good place to stay in this area.

Absolutely one of the best RV parks, period. Best designed, organized and cleanest parks we’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in. The owner and his staff deserve the highest praise for their efforts to make this park a success. The sites are large, well marked and easy to access. The streets are wide, making it a snap to back into sites. The facilities for Dogs are first class. We have stayed here before and will again. Highly recommend. Shout out to Little Italy in Gila Bend, a great Italian restaurant & Pizza parlor.

This is such a beautiful place, designed with every little detail to enjoy your stay. plenty of little touches that make you smile. Plenty of activities: pool, putting greens, activity center with multiple sessions. Dog park with green grass and benches clean and not smelly. Little memorial garden for pets that are no longer traveling with us ... Clean laundry room, car wash station... The list goes on and on. Spots are nice and wide, leveled, WiFi, cable TV. extremely nice and helpful stuff, can't say enough how nice this place is.Safety: The gate is working all the time

What a beautiful place to stay for a while! Easy check in and as others have mentioned, it is clean and well laid out. The pool is heated and there is a club house where there is lots going on. Good sized laundry, dogs are welcome and the whole place is well laid out and nice to walk through. Not only the staff were very nice but the people who are there long term were very friendly. A really nice community in the desert! We will certainly be back!

Probably the best laid out RV Park we have seen! I really appreciate how easy it is to navigate the park roads with a big trailer.Big sites, multiple pet areas, pickleball court, all the amenities, and super clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. There's not a lot of attractions or services in the area, and there is some aircraft noise, but the park is quiet day and night. And they have propane for sale.

Nice people! Very large sites!Stayed here beginning of Jan 2024.Back-in FHU 50 amp. All gravel.General: Great place to stay. Clean and well maintained. Big sites! Strong connectivity. Somewhat of a bare bones park but can't beat the price, cleanliness, and site size.Staff: Staff are very nice and helpful.Sites: Really spacious. Bigger sites than most parks. All gravel but it is nicely pressed/tamped gravel and very well maintained.Campground Road: Paved/gravel mix.Campground WiFi: Worked well enough for light work when the park was empty but could not connect to work vpn.Grounds: Clean and maintained really well.Bathrooms/Showers: Shower stalls in an open bathroom environment.Laundry: Good laundry facility.Pool: Did not use.Location: 5 min from gas and groceries. 1 hr 20 min from Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument.Near highway: Yes. Close to highway and highway noise if that bothers you.Near train: No.Cell: Verizon worked best and could work on vpn and uninterrupted Zoom calls. Could also stream movies.Cell: AT&T worked well and could work on vpn and uninterrupted Zoom calls. Could also stream movies.

We recently spent two nights here and had a fabulous time. The grounds, community rooms, and bathrooms/showers were immaculate. (I loved the music playing in the bathroom/showers). The check-in process was simple and the super-helpful staff guided us right to our site afterdark and in the middle of a nasty rainstorm. I especially liked the tables at every site and the pool. The owner and staff take great pride in creating a clean, modern, and peaceful place to stay. The location right off the highway and close to a gas station was perfect.Safety: The after-hours gate along with the rule about no-signage added to the feeling of security and safety.

As soon as you pull up at the RV staging check in area you will notice just how well planned, neat and clean this place is. Check in was easy and the people are very kind, friendly and helpful. Don’t let all the info and rules scare you, it’s for good reason, this park is well maintained, clean and updated in working condition. All of our services worked flawlessly and our site (506) was neat, clean and perfectly level. This is a deluxe site and was such a pleasure to have. Worth every penny!! Staff was amazingly helpful. The facilities were so nice and we used the laundry and pool. Very dog friendly, plenty of dog park areas and if you want you can leave the back gate and walk out in the desert. Highly recommend the RV park, we will be back when traveling through this area. We are retired snow birds traveling in motorhome and pulling our car.

Great RV Park, well maintained facilities. Security entrance, friendly helpful staff. Nice size sites full hook ups, pool, other activity areas, well maintained laundry & a dog park. Desert surroundings. There is noise close by. Is off a busy highway, train a mile away and an airforce base close by. None of this bothered us, it would depend The planes were cool to watch and base was far away.

Sonoran Desert RV Park is off the normal path but completely worth finding! It's the perfect size park. Large, but not to large that you get lost in. The off-leash dog park is great! It's far enough away from the big towns that it makes you really sit back relax and just enjoy the desert!

We loved this park! We travel full time and most of the parks we have visited in this region of the country have been mediocre at best. But not Sonoran Desert RV Park. We chose here because it was on our route and was an easy day trip down to Ajo and Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. But had we known how nice the park would be, we would have stayed longer just to relax by the pool. The sites were spacious, grounds were immaculate, staff members were all very friendly and service oriented. Every building we were in was CLEAN. Best part for us? They have an indoor dog washing station! We stayed in the “pethouse suite” site 134 and it had its own, private dog park. The site was level and we had plenty of room to park our tow vehicle. Our rig is a 36ft motorhome towing a Jeep Cherokee. Do yourself a favor and stop researching parks in the area, just book here and you will not be disappointed. Thank you Scott and your phenomenal staff.

This was the perfect stop over for a 2 day rest, on our way to San Diego! This place is SUPER military friendly (offering 2 nights for active duty) and Cindy happily shared her affiliation with “Tents for Troops.” We, however, opted to pay for a delux space, with a private dog corral, and were placed next to all amenities! Wayne graciously showed us to our 100 ft pull thru and around the amenities. We felt extremely welcomed by all staff and guests/tenants! The pool was a great way to tire out the littles and the laundry and shower facilities were immaculate! We also used the designated area w/power washer to wash our truck, which cost $5. Washer is $2.50 for power wash and dryer is $1.75. The laundry room has a change machine, as cash is required. I only wish it would’ve offered card/contactless payment options since we had to scape our change together. Thankfully there are clothes lines outside and clothes pins to use, making it easy to dry out towels. The bathrooms were the cleanest we’ve seen and include 4 toilet stalls and 4 shower stalls (to include one handicap). We were surprised that wifi was so terrible with it being off season, but we had excellent cell service. We will gladly stay here again and won’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

A room review doesn't apply, as we brought our own. We have visited Sonoran Desert RV Park twice, so far, once last year and again this week. The staff is always helpful and happy to help meet our needed. The spaces, buildings, and property are pristine. We have already arranged for our next visit in the area!I ignore the optional choices for thr "room".

We stayed twice during one trip at Sonoran Desert RV Park. Very nice, clean, organized park. Clean showers, laundry and pool looks so inviting! Good dog parks. Signage is one of the best I have seen at an RV park. Staff very friendly and Monty was great guiding us to our spot. We look forward to another stay there and highly recommend.

We are full time travelers, and this is by far one of the most well-maintained RV parks we have ever stayed. They are super friendly, and the grounds are immaculate. Not a rock out of place, not even kidding. The only thing I would say is make sure you have food, drinks etc., no good store for about 40 miles. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a nice RV park! Well kept, nice people run it, and quiet. We enjoyed the patio and dog run in site 200, which is quite a large site. The only thing it might have had to improve it is a gas grill. The charcoal grill was clean and serviceable however. Make sure you bring adequate food supplies as it is slim pickings in Gila Bend. Not much there.

We travel back and forth between TX and CA to visit friends and family once or twice a year and discovered this lovely rv park in route on our way out and have stopped again on our way back home. Large spacious sites, a heated pool in the winter, a lovely clean laundry room and sometimes even entertainment in the rec room. Great friendly staff too. We highly recommend it.Not sure why this review platform is asking about hotel rooms. This is an rv park.

The park is located a few miles east of Gila Bend. There is pavement all the way including inside the park. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. The interior roads are in very good. conditionOur site, 604, was a gravel based pull through that was very wide and very long. Services (30/50 amp, water, sewer and cable) were to the left side. Distancing is very good for a rural park. Most sites had a Young shade tree as a privacy barrier. Each site has a table but NO fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was clean neat and tidy with a very minimal amount of dust for a desert park. The park included wifi worked very well but we did not access the cable TV. We did not use the washrooms or showers or the pool but we checked and found them modern and clean. There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. The resort amenities are numerous. The pool looked amazing. Pickle Ball is obviously popular. There are three dog runs including one with real grass if that’s what it takes for your dog to do it’s business. We found this park to be a very nice overnighter. We paid $60.00 per night (inc tax) and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area again.

Great place for an overnighter or several nights. Cleanest restroomd I've ever seen at an RV park. Laundry was clean and inexpensive. They even supply an ironing board and iron if you wear clothes that require that kinda thing. Lots a people there in big rigs that look like they're there for the winter season.
