Pete is a real life saver. He agreed to start the repair of a wheel bearing on a Friday late afternoon . He came in on Saturday evening, after I had the parts delivered, to reassemble it and get us on the road. His prices were honest and fair for the work. The other "auto & truck repair" in town told me 3 times they were on their way but after 5 hours they didn't show up. Pete rescued us. Thanks Pete.

Like many folks on here, we got a flat somewhere right around Gila Bend as we were driving through. We thought about the Goodyear right across the street, but Petey was absolutely the right choice. Amazing, fast service and really saved our butts. Totally recommend.

Lifesaver! Our motorhome had a blowout on the highway. I called 4-5 shops and nobody would help. Finally I got in touch with Petey's and he was there with a new tire in 30 minutes. Great, professional service!!!

Pete is obviously an expert tire serviceman. He took care of my truck expertly and even acquired a couple parts in town that he didn’t have in stock. He was my second choice but should have been my first. He charged an honest price and is quite personable. His assistant is excellent and obviously is learning his trade well from Pete. Across the street from him is a name brand tire shop, who in my personal opinion, does not offer Pete’s hustle to get the job done nor his eagerness to do your tire service right. He even offered to have an extra part shipped to his tire shop or to me whichever would be quickest to get me back on the road. Give this man a chance. You won’t feel robbed and the service is courteous. Just traveling through I lucked into his shop.

Petey's is a family-owned garage that came to our rescue when we had to pull off the road in Gila Bend due to a bulging tire (that was about to blow). Our large family's vehicle is a lifted, stretched, Excursion that takes special order tires, which no one had on hand. No other garages were willing to help us figure something out, even a temporary fix, to get us back on the road. Petey, his brother, and fellow mechanics were very friendly, helpful, and resourceful. They took good care of us and helped us get home safely, which was no small thing since we had 8 kids with us who could have been potentially stranded in the 100+ degree heat.

My tire blew on the 8, about 20 miles away from Gila Bend on a Sunday. I called all the tire shops in hopes they had someone on call even though they all said on google they were closed, even though some of them claimed to have 24 hour roadside assistance.The first place refused to answer my call after they tried to price gouge me and I thought they were my last hope when other places ended up being unavailable or not answering at all.When I called, he was willing to help immediately, and drove to the shop within minutes. Not only did he replace my blown tire, but he rotated all of the tires to make sure they were all in safer spots since he didn’t end up having a second one of the tires I needed to replace the other side’s balding tire.He didn’t charge me a service fee, no fee for coming in on a Sunday, and no fee to rotate the tires. He could have taken advantage of my desperation of hours of trying to find someone to help me, but he didn’t. I’m so incredibly grateful for his service! I’ll never forget it!

Peaty Tire Shop is privately owned. Although he wasnt at the shop the last few days I was able to get in today. I enjoy supporting family owned and operated businesses. I would highly recommend using this establishment when in Gila Bend
