We were traveling in our RV when we had to make the hardest decision ever of putting down our 19 year old dog. North Valley was able to get us in within a couple of hours. They were gentle and compassionate and handled everything, including the cremation, perfectly. Thank you!!

Have used this clinic for the last three years but only for routine exams and vaccinations, always takes forever to get an appointment but until today that has not been an issue. Today we called with an emergency and were told sorry too busy can't see you until April 9th, unbelievable my dog is sick now could be dead by then This vet obviously could care less about the animals life they only want money. Well they will not get another penny from us.

We were traveling out of state in our RV when our little doxie got very sick. We picked this place and took her in, they were able to see her that day, treated her and took time and explained everything to us. Great staff, and great bedside manner Dr Dean and techs!

I started using North Valley Pet Hospital for boarding my pets when I moved here a little over a year ago. At the time I did their vetting at another clinic. Each time I called NVPH for any reason I got a friendly, knowlegeable person and did not have to go back and forth with messages, email, and texts. If I called when the clinic was closed I still got a call back quickly after they were open again. Each time my pets came in, each person acted like they knew them and were happy to see them. My pets acted comfortable like they also knew the staff. No one rushed me or pushed products or services. I decided that I should try their vet services too since I felt they trully cared and and I could get an appointment in a timely manor. So I brought my older cat who has several medical issues in to see Dr. Dean and I felt he knew what he was doing. He was never condescending and always took my questions and concerns seriously. He worked with me on a medication issue. I was super impressed and next brought my dog for his yearly visit. My dog is an abuse survivor and has a few PTSD issues and although he has come a long way he still can be afraid of men. Dr Dean got on the floor with him and examed him in a slow quiet manner and was able to do the whole visit without my dog getting fearful. He answered all of my questions and listened to me. I would highly recommend this clinic! They are now my clinic for all 3 pets from boarding to medical issues. It's a pleasure to come in for appointments!

The best and most caring vet in this area. We’ve been to a few and Dr. Dean, the vet techs, and the front staff are far superior. We had an emergency and they were so flexible to get our sweet Charlie in asap. While she was hospitalized, she received excellent care and they were so kind and compassionate when we came to visit her. They made sure we felt comfortable and informed us with phone calls on her progress throughout her stay. This clinic saved her life and we are forever grateful. Thank you is not enough and I would recommend them 100 times over!

I got a pup from the local shelter. She seemed fine until I went to pick her up. She was seriously sick from something caused by the shelter. Within minutes of her being at North Valley, they figured out what was wrong and set up a treatment, and now, just a few days later, she is healthy and playful again. They saved my pup when other places wouldn't do anything for her without thousands down up front.

My pets have been seen here for routine & preventive care for more than a year now. UNTIL TODAY - I would've given this facility a positive review. Today I called to get my beloved pet in for hopefully an x-ray or diagnostic (I suspect a blocked digestive tract) and was told "We don't have any openings". When pressed about the urgency of the situation the person on the end of the line responded with un-empathetic attitude and told me to take my dog to Las Vegas. GOD forbid you work late or call another routine client and ask if they would reschedule so they can tend to an emergency.

I called due to my dog being injured and was scheduled the same day, the office staff was friendly and nice! The Dr took time and addressed all questions and concerns. Also was given an affordable option for medication.

They were all very kind and understanding to my stress over my dogs back legs not working. The female Dr. Who helped me gave me hope that my dog may improve with meds since they could not see any damage. I felt better that I wouldn't have to put him to sleep that day . I am so glad that even though Monday was a holiday they were open and returned my message for an appt quickly. They were wonderful.

My Patches was taken care of by North Valley Animal Hospital. If we called with a question they would answer. They would remind us of what he needed and when. When we had to put him down they were so kind and so gentle. I can't say enough on how great they were to us and how great they care for the Pets we all Love. I MISS HIM SO MUCH HE WAS NOT ONLY A GREAT PET HE WAS MY COMPANION. THANKS EVERYONE AT NORTH VALLEY.

When our regular vet was too busy to see our dog in an emergency situation we called North Valley and they got her right in to ICU. We have no doubt they saved our dogs life that day. Highly recommended. Thank you to the whole staff

Amazing people! Just moved from Cali and 1 of my doggies got sick. Took us in same day we called. Super nice, friendly and empathetic. Thorough in their process to check and make sure they knew all that was going on with my dog. Dr. was friendly and not only showed me the results but explained it to me in simple terms. Definitely using them from here on out. Only thing, they are not 24/7 but they did say is due to short staff.

My Junior was un sociable until he got used to the staff at North Valley. I can no take him any where and not worry as much. The staff treat the pets as if it was their own with great love and care. Thank you for saving my animals.

I called and got an appointment for the next day. The wait was very fast. Dr. Dean was thorough and informative. The staff was great. They treated my bunny with care. I was given medicine in the office. Instructed to return for a follow up. I had a great experience with this practice.

Our dog was in need of service but the Vet Doctor didn't think it was bad enough to be scene. I am sorry I ever trusted you all. My dog was hard to handle because she had such bad anxiety and I was told she had heart disease which was a lie, anyway she needed medical attention because she couldn't be groomed without being put to sleep which again you all didn't take the time with her . She ended up having a bad infection which you would of saw if you took the time to see her. I will not recommend you guys to anyone. My poor Precious died yesterday. The Vet that took care of her at Advanced Animal Hospital and all their employees were amazing, they really tried to help her after they groomed her without putting her to sleep. You all caused her bad infection that went into her kidneys. You don't deserve to be in business. My heart is broken missing my Precious 💕. Start caring more but I don't think you can do that. I gave you 1 Star but really you don't even desert that. You didn't care so my Precious died and yes I blame you because you didn't think it was bad enough to be scene. You only post positive reviews so you probably won't post this but it's okay, I will let everyone I know not to go to your place. Thanks for letting my dog die.

Outstanding service! Our dog Charlie couldn't keep food down. We are visiting from South Carolina. NVPH was able to get us a same day appointment to see him. Dr. Dean was wonderful.

Took the pups in for shots today. Been going here for years. Staff is always super friendly and good with the pets. Docs are always helpful and eager to answer any questions you have.Today had to have a beloved pet of 17 yrs put to sleep...to much pain and agony. Staff was very supportive and understanding.

Absolutely pathetic! More timecard punchers! North Valley isn't special at all. When your dog has an cut on its face they turn you away because of scheduling. Weak! Telling me they can see her next week. In the mean time figure it out on your own. The rudeness of the receptionist and the absolute absence empathy is astounding. If I could give them no stars I would!

I love this place! Staff is always wonderful and helpful and love Dr. Cate. She has been seeing my 16 year old cat and 12 year old dog for the last couple years since I moved out to Nevada. Very attentive and caring. Thank you North Valley for caring for my pets.💞💕
