I ordered some chicken feed 2/27, and was advised that it would be in the following wednesday 3/6. The week of the 14th of March, nobody had contacted me yet, so I called them to inquire. They tell me that although they ordered the three 40lb bags of chicken food, it never came in, so they would reorder it, and that it should come in the following Wednesday or Thursday. 3/21, which is next Thursday, no one has called me once again. I call in and am put on hold for four minutes, the manager answers and says that she will 100% put the order in, and as long as it's in stock, it will be in the following Wednesday. I just advised her that this is ridiculous, and I'll just go ahead and leave a google review. If you have animals that depend on a particular type of feed, and you order from this Olsens's, plan to never get that feed, and be told over and over that they'll place the order.

Just love this place. I like the down home feeling when I walk in the door and the pleasant greetings that I receive. Everyone is helpful and friendly and I like getting referred to as ma'am, haha. Old school service rules! They have a wonderful selection of anything that you would need pet wise, and they employ the most fantastic people! I have never had a bad experience even when I have come in to return an item. The fact that they have so many locations and that they've been in business for decades speaks well of them. We make it a point to go to Olsen's for any of our cat, dog and chook needs!

I went here to get bedding for my son's chicken coop + some new food for the chickens. The gal who helped me was so kind, informative and polite. The transaction was fast and efficient and the young men had my supplies ready as I walked out the door. They put the bedding & feed in our truck and we're very polite. I'll definitely give this place my business again.

This review is a note of gratitude to the good folks at Olsen's Grain. When local nonprofit Quality Connections needed some bales of straw for our 4th of July parade float, Warren and the Olsen's team really came through for us! They didn't just sell us what we needed, instead they offered to loan us the straw for the event for free! Thanks so much Olsen's!

I stocked up on dog food while I bought the most amazing pellets for my horses. I was in Flagstaff for the weekend and wouldn’t get back in time to get hay before the shops closes on Sunday in Utah. I loved this shop and I only wish they still had saddles.

Warren and Kristy were gone for the day. But the staff that was, was very helpful!!! Will be moving up for the summer in a few weeks. Bringing the horses up & needed to check on Hay prices. I adore Olsen's! They carry such an amazing selection of foods, needs for all animals. They have a huge selection of babies during chick days. I found them because I was getting my cats' food on Amazon, and it couldn't be guaranteed to be there when I needed it. Also, the seller raised and changed the price per whims.I found Olsen's on the web site of the food. I was so pleased that I could get it, when I needed it and at the same price. They even have coupons!!!!! The best!!!💙💚💛🧡💜

I have had horses (among other fur friends) my entire life so over the years have developed a feel for a "good" feed store and Olsens is just the best. Family run and very friendly and helpful people. Everyone knows where everything is and are willing to take the time to help you figure out the right feed for each individual animal. Large variety of feeds and just about any doodad or thingamajig you might need. Very helpful about loading purchases and fast, too. The ladies at the register are very friendly and helpful and are truly concerned about my critters and their care. Take your dog with you while you shop; very dog friendly and have every treat ever invented for your canine.

Everyone is so friendly, and I've gotten help with the few farm style needs my wife requires to keep her goats happy. I've never had to load anything heavy onto my truck myself, unless I insist that I do so. Honestly love the shop, and look forward to picking up alfalfa and supplements here. Not to mention poultry! They have as much trouble as anybody knowing when specific chicken breeds will arrive in the springtime, but they've been so good as to call me when they land a batch of Australorp pullets.

The pinnacle of customer service..Was running a minute late and the crew at Olsen’s we’re pleased to go out of their way to assist me. Would now go far out of my way to shop at an Olsen’s, although their flagstaff location is extremely confidently located. Do yourself a favor and support a local small business instead of going to a large retail chain that doesn’t care as much.These people are real people who care..Thank you again everyone at Olsen’s!

You don't feel like you're walking into a store. Yes their product everywhere oh, but how they treat you is like you're walking into a family home. Everyone greets you and has a smile just for you. Their selection on everything is pretty dang good too

Update: I went in for more food today and there were even more unmasked employees than before. This is very disappointing, as all customers in the store at the same time as myself were wearing theirs, which protects the employees rather than themselves. I would have left without buying if I knew I could get my pet's food shipped from elsewhere in time.---They carry very high quality pet food and employees are very friendly. I appreciate that they have a rewards program for their pet food and it keeps me coming back for every bag. They have locations in other towns, which has been helpful when I have run out of food while staying with family previously.My only complaint is how frequently I've seen employees hastily putting on masks when customers are approaching or walking in the store without. It shows either a lack of oversight from more senior employees/owners or of disregard. I'm hoping for the former.

Olsen's Grain and Feed store is a wonderful smaller more local business for all your pet supplies. I get all the things I need for my fur babies, from my kittens to my horses, at this store in Flagstaff. They have an awesome staff that will help you find what you need and load it in your car or truck for you. They also deliver larger orders. The staff is easy to find and very knowledgeable about what you need if you're not sure. I really like this business and all the amazing people who work there!

Olsen's is great. I usually just go there for dog food, but the staff is so friendly and lovely, and they will always grab my bag of dog food for me and carry it to my car. I think that kind of customer service is really amazing.
