I love Pratt's. Prices aren't outrageous, and the associates are always friendly. My only complaint would be that they're always pretty busy, but it seems there isn't a lot of staff, so it's understandable. They're great about answering questions and addressing concerns. You just have to be patient with them. Tuesday afternoons, there are veterinarian services at a discounted price, and they also offer grooming.

Wouldn’t recommend the grooming AT ALL. They completely shaved my poor dog. The breed he is should have longer hair around his face and tail and instead now his hair is all the same length and basically bald in the middle of winter. See before and after pictures. Won’t be returning.

They have been our go to for almost 3 years for our pets supplies! However, last week I took my dog in for grooming and I noticed some small cuts in his body but figured they are young someone made a few mistakes.He has been so traumatized and shaking and not his happy self since then. Today I finally got him out for a walk and noticed a chunk of his ear is missing!!! No one even cared to mention it!I had no idea until he started to heal and I seen the black scab! My poor baby! Please do not send your pets here for grooming!!!

Such a great experience! Staff was very helpful & groomer handled my baby very well! She can be a pain for groomers so the fact he cut her exactly how I asked is awesome!

My daughter paid $150, $50 more than the others, for a dwarf rabbit. The rabbit has grown and clearly isn't a dwarf rabbit. Then she bought what was supposed to be a lop rabbit and the ears are not lopped.

Unprofessional, untrustworthy, poor sanitation. Unhealthy products worms, parasites in bones treats for sale that are unpackaged. The staff gossiping more than assisting customers. Over priced items.

This is a great shop. Staff are super nice.The groomers did a great job with our older pitbull. They carry out special dog food and love the rewards program. There is a another store much closer bit we go out of our way because of the wonderful people here. They recognize us and truly care about their customers. They vet the breeders for the dogs up for sale. our Kids love coming here and checking out the animals.

Mice and rats are kept in horrible conditions, i understand they’re bred to be feeders but having hoppers barely an inch big covered in pee and thirty to a bin is inhumane. i saw a passed away baby rat in one of the bins (it was removed when i pointed it out) and water was not provided to the animals. I adopted a rat from this store. He was surrendered as a pet along with his brother who died in pratt’s care. they were perfectly okay selling him as a feeder. he was obviously somebody’s well loved pet, and he’s now malnourished, coughing, and covered in scabs. the employees couldn’t answer any questions about his history or age and openly informed me that he’d had no human contact since being surrendered. i went into the store asking to look at mice and rats and was allowed to handle them freely, even the babies. even petco, who breeds feeders, won’t allow you to handle mice for both their health and yours. i was able to walk out of that store with my new pet rat without signing any paperwork or even confirming i was over the age of eighteen. there were flies buzzing around us while we shopped for rat food. the employees were also very unprofessional, cursing and discussing coworker drama while right next to me. despite this, they were helpful in that they allowed me to see the rats and mice and helped me handle my rat prior to adoption. the only good thing to come out of this store is my sweet pet rat. i feel for all the little mice and rats at this store and hope they are treated better in the future. even feeders deserve at least a shred of kindness and humanity

I stopped in to Pratts Pets today and had a great time there! There were so many cute animals to look at! They had lots of baby chicks, puppies, ferrets, beautiful roosters, lots and lots of bunny rabbits, beautiful birds, and even two friendly pot belly pigs! What fun! I really wanted to take a piggy home but my boyfriend said that I had enough animals........!!! The store was neat and organized,, the animal pens were clean,, they stocked lots of supplies and feed for all the animals,, and the staff was friendly.. We got great feed for our little chicks and baby peacocks. They are the only store that stocks chick mash, and we need it for the baby peas. They won't eat the big crumbles! So thanks for stocking the chick mash!

So for many years Pratts Pets has been a local favorite of mine, from way back when till now even. Over the years they have changed multiple time, and grown tremendously, all to keep up the competition with a ever growing city all around them. I believe their diversity of products from your typical house pets, to the exotics and the farming variety, to the pet boarding of all kinds has been a huge plus. They even supply a wide variety of of products for all at such a reasonable price. The selection of feeder insects has grown and become fairly demanding as well, and they do a great job on meeting the supply and demand. They have done a great job at giving their location a family friendly and cozy environment. The staff is all amazing, with Cesar and Cody, and many other employees being so helpful and upbeat in their customer services. Pratt's Pets even supplies the Do It Yourself pet shots at affordable prices. They even support the local breeders of pets and insects by buying at great rates when needed. They have a grooming service and more. I highly recommend you to check them out if your nearby. I have given Pratt's Pets the 4 star rating as the above is amazing, but there is very limited space throughout the store, always a high smell of alfalfa/hay for anyone whom has allergies of this may want to avoid or take something before arriving, along with the cleanliness being just a little lacking at time, not always tho. As for this being said, I'm still highly recommending everyone to visit them. Thank you for taking the time to read over my review, much appreciated.

I enjoy coming here all the time to pet the animals and look around ! Such a wonderful place to visit with family and friends ! Always greeted at the door when I enter , They always have such a clean , organized store , animals are clean and cared for and the staff is beyond friendly and always helpful ! They carry a variety of pet items and foods to try ! Prices are super reasonable too , definitely pay them a visit if your in town !

I was just in Pratts Pets and they had 5 puppies in a cage with no water. I said to the kids that they needed water and he said they have some in the hanging bottle. We walk to other side of store and on our way out we past the puppies again as the kids working their put the hanging water bottle back up filled with water. Those 5 puppies were doing everything they could to get a drop. I felt so bad for them all!

Loved this pet store! Visited while on vacation to see my in laws and we enjoyed seeing all the pets. Would be a go to place for my supplies and pet needs if I were local.

11/5 & 6 are customer appreciation days... I went for the deals on pigs and lambs ears. ❤ I bought 5 LG bones for $10... 1 of the deals. Needless to say, we are stocked up for quite awhile!Place was clean. And every1 was helpful. Was a pleasant trip.

do not recommend shopping there went in to buy some chicks was insanely smacked in the face with the smell of death told the worker and she said it was normal they die all the time a few minutes later she pulled out about 50 dead chicks that were stiff as the rock then she giggled and said “oops they don’t have water” chicks life’s mattes!!!

I had to wait a while to check out. There was a difficult customer upset by the price of their dog's grooming. The cashier stayed very professional and handled the difficult customer very well. I was very impressed.

Will not support this store anymore. Nothing but kids that cant get along working there and after supporting for years they couldn't even discount or give me a bag of food that was expired but were gonna throw it away. Its just grass pellets they don't rot. I guess that means back to Walmart for the half the price.

I love pratts. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I buy my hamsters from here. And my bunnies. Is would say they take good care of their animals at this location. The cages are clean and so is the store.
