This is not only a clean yet unique rest stop.The restrooms are clean and maintained regularly. There’s places for you to walk your animals. Have your kids go run around take a nice spray, scenery and snack and a place to picnic. Overall, this is ethic for a rest area. I definitely recommend it.

Parents suggested we stop here on our way out of town - and so glad they did! The rock formations were really something and it was a great break to stop and stretch our legs!

This was a well needed and very fun rest stop. Beautiful scenery. I love how the dog park was a bunch of monolithic boulders. Ambrosius and I had an awesome time.

Beautiful rest stop. Rock formations blocked by barb wire fence. It seems to be private property on the other side. Clean bathrooms, good vibe.

A very nice rest stop along I-10 East near Dragoon. There is one Westbound also, but we were going East. Everything worked and was clean and serviced. When a rest stop has this many vehicles at it including semi rigs, you know it must be nice. There is more than adequate parking, and picnic space, as well as room to exercise your leashed dog. Lots of interesting rock scenery; huge boulders, and smaller ones. All are fenced off, as this is most likely a rattlesnake haunt. Dogs and children should be watched.What bothered me about this place was the graffiti on the rocks. It's a real shame that some people have to deface beautiful natural things.A heat alert should be mentioned. This place gets intense sun and can get hot quickly. the rock surfaces can burn.

This rest area is so cool. Well, what's cool is the landscape around the rest area. Wow! A multitude of huge, round boulders! So beautiful.The rest area has restrooms (that I didn't visit), picnic tables, and a pet exercise area. And did I mention boulders? Oh, the boulders!I love this place. If you come here, be ready to take a bunch of photos.

Updated w/October Thorns! - Amaaaazing rock formations. The rock formations were a treat to see! We don’t use the facilities, so can’t comment on that, but the views were spectacular! One thing I noticed is that pet 🐕 owners are not picking up after their dogs. Shame on you!Update October 2021: in June we were able to walk in and around the dog areas. Today, in October 2021, the grounds were covered in thorns! Star shaped thorns everywhere!! Dogs could not walk on anything but the hot sidewalks and even then, more thorns! It’s still beautiful but we’ll be more mindful next time!Update Jan. 2022: Docked 1 ⭐️. The trash/littering has gotten out of control! I see staff cleaning up, but maybe it’s beyond their control… Lots of old truck tires and garbage bags piled up next to the trash bins. See new pics. Filthy!Update Mar. 2023: 1 star added back. The stop was clean, staff friendly, sidewalks clear of debris. The rock formations never cease to amaze!

Nice rest area, good facilities and lots of pull through spots for big rigs, totally separate parking for small vehicles. Was cold overnight on April first. Noisy from 18 wheelers running overnight (pretty common in these type places) and lots of road noise… very neat the highway..I’d stay here again, no problem…Pickup truck + 30 foot fifth wheel…

Spectacular Rest Area in both directions. The restrooms are nothing special, but the scenic nature of the giant boulders stacked on each other is well worth a pull off on I-10. Amazing vistas. Have your camera ready

One of the better rest stops I have found in my travels. I like how they have the area for cars further off the highway with all the big trucks parking closer to the highway and blocking some of the noise. Beautiful views!

This has to be one of my favorite rest stops I've ever been to. The rocks are beautiful..The help there's very friendly and will tell you anything you need to know or give you directions or help you with anything you need. The bathrooms are clean impeccably clean. It seems to be a very safe place to take a rest day or night.

Update! Still a great place to visit! Met some cool people passing through. Great scenery. I must stop!Excellent rest stop! We always stop here on our way through. Great views, and Arizona does a great job maintaining it. We always stop at the memorial and pay our respects to officer Noah Merrill.

This rest area has acceptable bathrooms, some vending machines that were locked away at the time of my visit and an area to exercise dogs. Most of all though, it has incredible views of the surrounding rock formations. Even of you don't need to use the facilities, it's worth pulling over just for a photo op.

This is actually one of the nicest rest areas to stop at! The terrain is beautiful and the restrooms were very clean. There's ample space to park and walk around..

Great views of nature. Clean restrooms and a path to get a shot walk for exercise. I do not like pet owners who do not clean up after their dogs. There is way too much dog ish and people are walking around everywhere. Feel bad for parent who kids picked up smelly rocks.

This rest stop has nice restroom facilities, and is set amongst the scenic landscape/rock formations. It's a great stop to see, whether or not you've got to pee!!

Beautiful views for sure definitely a place to stop and enjoy your surroundings! Bathrooms not very well taken care of especially during Covid! Place definitely needs some upgrades!! But for the view and photo ops def a place to stop at!

Great place to stretch your legs, walk the paths through the edge of the desert.. beautiful rock formations. Let the kids climb and get out some nervous energy. Picnic tables. Just a great break.

If you're expecting to hike and climb on the boulders you will be disappointed. Everything is fenced off. If you go off the sidewalks at all your shoes will be covered in goat head stickers. If you stop here with your animal to let them out to use the bathroom they will probably need some kind of special shoes because those stickers are seriously everywhere! I was very disappointed. I did use the restroom and it was not a good experience but I guess I should just be thankful that there was toilet paper available.Hit the thumbs up button below if this was helpful👍

Nice rest area. Parking is a bit far away from the restrooms. If it's a quick pitstop this is your place. Very neat and clean.

Take your time and soak it in. This ones worth walking around and looking around for a bit. There's a very quiet, peaceful vibe here.One of the most picturesque and beautiful rest areas in the entire state of Arizona. In fact perhaps the whole country. Plenty of parking. Clean facilities. Easy on and off.
