The few times I've been in the Douglas CVS, they've always been very busy with long lines. Don't go here if you're in a hurry.Although I've never had a prescription filled here myself, I've given rides to friends who had to pick up here. My observation is that you're better off going to the Walmart pharmacy if you can.

Arriving at 1:55 pm I almost had a heart attack seeing the pharmacy closed. My daughter just had a tonsillectomy and needed pain meds. The sales clerk helped me relax by explaining they were on lunch break and would reopen at 2:00pm . Once the pharmacy opened the line moved quickly. I got my daughters pain meds. I also saw some Burts Bees ChapStick variety package that I was looking for online but couldn't find. I tried to find Peppermint Coffee as I was really wanting a Holiday fun drink for the ride home. For some reason Douglas, AZ has a lack of peppermint drinks for Christmas. Once I got up to the counter the clerk asked me if I got my pain meds for my daughter and also she saw that the check out line was long and opened two more check outs. Loved That!

First of all, they're open times for the pharmacy mean nothing. The pharmacy says it opens at 10, got there for a vaccine appointment at 10:45 and the pharmacy was closed with a line of people waiting. We heard at least 5 cars pull up to try and get their RX with no response from staff. Then, when they finally got there they were extremely rude, especially rude pharmacist, misquoted prices, and yelled at my mom that they didn't honor VA and she needed to call them when they're the ones that told us CVS does the VA vaccines in rural areas. There was even a woman there who got her vaccines there with VA and they still insisted they didn't honor VA. All this could have been avoided had they made the appointment on the phone instead of making us use the website which crashed not once, not twice, but six times while trying to make the appointment, where they had her enter her VA insurance information and accepted it. So what I take from it is that they just didn't want to do it. Very poor service.

For the third time, the pharmacy did not have my refill available at the end of the 30 day prescription. Despite being patient and flexible, this did not earn any respect or consideration. I asked if they could expedite the refill as I am out and the representative said flatly, no. That was it. I looked online and my prescription history is available at other CVS sites but not at this one. How could they not even have my several fills available to view online? This particular CVS is far worse than most.

This pharmacy is not only slow and rude, but they also closed for days without notice. Conveniently the pharmacy manager got sick during the weekend, so they didn't have a pharmacist and had to close Saturday and Sunday. I called the store and they said they don't even know if they will be open Monday. Sounds like they didn't even try to get a temporary pharmacist to come in. Most doctors offices are also closed on the weekend, making it impossible to transfer to scripts to a different pharmacy. I don't even want to think about how many people are going without their meds because this place cant get it together.

CVS Pharmacy is terrible! Sometimes they are open, then sometimes they are closed. They might fill your prescriptions or most likely they will tell you to come back... when you come back a few hours later, it is "sorry, we will have to fax the provider, give us a call tomorrow." A few days later it is the same story. If CVS is not going to provide a functional pharmacy, then shut it down so we can make other arrangements, like having to drive an hour into Sierra Vista.

Worst service ever, they never have the medication needed even after the hospital called we waited two day for an important medication this has happened 4 time already for different medication the pharmacists are pretty rude as well they don’t care for costumer service

The staff is very helpful and polite. This review is geared towards the CVS website info. It states that store hours are from 8AM - 10PM. Please CHANGE IT!!!!! Some people travel 30-45 minutes away just to find out it's closed. Especially with the gas prices. Please be more considerate towards your consumers.

On 3/15 /2023 I had an exceptionally good experience. I didn't get any names, but I only waited 15 minutes to have a paper script filled. I gave the counter person a warm thank you and expressed my gratitude for being a fine person.

Stay away from the pharmacy. The dude Victor has attitude and won't fill medications ... He yelled out drive-thru for me not to come back because the pharmacy don't want to work apparently. I have insurance for medication and they have my cards on file. But he did not want to run the insurance card I gave him that would of paid it. Even Walmart pharmacy in Douglas is scared to call cvs in Douglas. Find different pharmacy if you can ... This pharmacy is a circus. This was my 3rd trip in to try to get medicines. I've been using them for 1 year and never had a problem. Victor was on a power trip today. I've reported cvs to state board of medicines today and I recommend leaving them alone and having medications sent elsewhere if can. I see on reviews I'm not the only one that has had a problem and they even told managers a different story on me. Said I was hostile with them. I was little flustered but not hostile. Until he yelled for me not to come back after I was car length or two from drive-thru. The whole thing was all he had to do was run the card I gave him.. Update: manager won't answer phone to address the situation. They are a joke.

Very long wait time on medications that you pre-order. Some staff not very friendly. We pay private insurance and pay all our co-pays for ALL our medications. From $3.25 to $75.00. My husband was trying to use a coupon for a couple free sensors offered to us by the product company to monitor blood sugar levels. Oh man, they were so rude about it!! Made it sound as if we were "trying to pull a fast one" or whatever!' Ridiculous!!!#YouDon'tPayForItSweetie !!!

CVS is a different experience at each location, but I have been nothing but pleased with this one. The staff are extremely polite, know to expect me, and are prompt. The few times I had to wait a little longer than usual, they were apologetic when I was not even that worried about the wait time. The pharmacist and everyone I have encountered here are polite and sensitive to the patients' medical needs. I highly recommend this location if searching for a new pharmacy in the area. I have not had luck with Bisbee pharmacies, so I definitely have found a good place here.

These guys are not very good at all about keeping medications straight. I have 2 ins. company I use and it's my fault they can't keep it straight.2nd I have medications I take everyday they need to be filled monthly on the same day. That does not happen I am told yhatvif there are 28 days I get it before the 20th, if there are 31 days I get it after the 20th, that makes no sense. It's 30 days from the 30th to the 30th of the month count the days. Now I can't even get them to notify me when my medications are ready, they don't have it ready on the 20th all kinds of excuses. Poor business practices I even tried talking to the pharmacist thinks the same way got to wondrr how 20th to 20th of each month is not 30 days and mrds should be filled that way don't get it changing pharmacy again really

Prescriptions that are sent by a physician electronically are not filled UNTIL you come in to pick them up and then told your wait time will be one to three hours after the pharmacy has had the prescription for 3 days. Used to love this pharmacy, but it has gone down hill dramatically.

The CVS store local in Douglas, Az, has a very polite, knowledgeable and experienced staff. My mother(Marilyn) and I have always had a positive, yet pleasant experience when dealing with the Pharmacy staff. From Trevor to David as Pharmacists, to all of the pharmacy staff(Maria, Sariela, Amaya, Lucy and all the other wonderful techs). They all do a good job of explaining what the medication is for, the possible side effects and whether it is best to take the medicine with food or not. Those fine people always remind my mother and I that if we have any questions, not to hesitate to contact them. Quality, care and first class customer service are the common qualities delivered when dealing with the CVS Pharmacy in Douglas. We appreciate you hard work and tireless efforts, therefore we will continue to due business with the store and its Pharmacy staff. Thank you for all that you do, you are appreciated by all in the community and the surround areas.

Please hire more pharmacy employees!!!!!!! It's ridiculous here.... super long waits and they never answer the phone. I got attitude from an employee yesterday because she had to run my new insurance card while there was a long line...she wouldn't have had to do that if someone would have answered the phone the 3x I called and waited 10 mins on the phone before hanging up earlier that day. I had no intentions on doing that in person when I came in but had no choice as they don't answer the phone.

Doctor sent prescription on Monday in front of me and prescription not filled and now Friday! I need my meds! Changed to Chiricahua pharmacy. Lied and stated that Doctor needed to approve. Say what!?

I was travelling through the area and needed a prescription filled. I had my Dr Office phone the prescription in to this pharmacy on Monday. We called on Wednesday and was told they didn't have it. Dr. called in again. Called pharmacy and was told prescription would be ready after 2. We showed up at 2:30 only to be told it would be after 4. Waited til Thursday morning. When I showed up at 8 I was told they did not get to it the night before and may not that day. 3 wasted trips of 40 miles and no prescription.

This place.... There are 3 employees in the store and they are in the office talking while there is a line of customers trying to use the ONE self checkout register. If this was a one time thing, I might understand, but it's every time I'm in there. I will never shop there again.

This is an impressive CVS store. The town of Douglas leaves a lot to be desired, but this CVS serves it well. You're always greeted with a friendly hello when you come through the door.
