Super large parking lot with lots of space for lots of stuff the Safeway is pretty normal on mediocre. As far as Safeway's go, but it's gonna Starbucks. Western Union pharmacy drive up and go all the typical Safeway sorts of things and you don't want. I appreciate a decent safeway when I find one

I had an issue with the Starbucks and the manager will was very helpful and helped me out within a couple seconds of there being a problem. He was nice, professional and courteous. A very pleasant and great experience in all.

My experience went south at check out. No full service lights on but there were two lanes without the "closed" sign on them. However the two cashiers presumably assigned there were out front in a deep conversation with each other. Not wanting to interrupt them (they didn't notice me) I went over to the self checkout. It was busy and the employee there was working hard to assist all registers.

WAY NOT SAFE!!! This review should be be negative five stars! Horrible grocery store selling rotten produce and old food. We bought two items that were on sale that had expired 1 year ago. The board of health should investigate this poorly run store!.

Ordered two large holiday meals for my family and company for Christmas. The way it was advertised it looked like the side dishes, mashed potatoes, stuffing gravy, etc. were freshly prepared at the store like Whole Foods. Just found all the side dishes are prepackaged processed items with MSG/yeast extract and other food we don’t usually eat due to health. Spending the time today with my family, I find myself here in the kitchen, preparing all of homemade side, dishes myself

Attention shoppers shopping in the store the week of a holiday especially Christmas is a nightmare. Please be prepared to have multiple substitutions in mind for when the item you're looking for is not available or hasn't been in existence in that particular store in days.Be ready to deal with stinky smelly sweaty people rushing in and out of aisles trying to grab items as quickly as they can before those are gone as well.

The cashier was rude.susan.i asked for a rain check and said that the butcher said that the bacon was suppose to be on the truck but didnt get that day.so we asked for a rain check and the cashier said it shows on the flyer while supplies last.it was the first day of the sale.so she wouldnt give us one.rude.i will go to frys from now on.u lost a customer

The cashier was rude and racist I am Mexican she wouldn't answer my questions not would she look at me while I was speaking to her she did bag my groceries but would leave them out of rwach for me really bad experience. pray she looses her sense of superiority

I will shop at literally any other grocery store in cottonwood and never give this store my money again. Every employee at this store has been nothing but rude anytime I have come in. Always a bad experience but today I tried to bring in an item that I must send through FedEx the manager was very rude to me and told me I needed a box ...well I'm sending in a vacuum for repair and wasn't sent a box and don't just have large vacuum sized boxes on hand and when I mentioned that she literally just pointed and said "next door" in a rude tone. Which I don't even know what that meant because the store next door is a gift shop. She ignored me when I kindly said I didn't understand.

Pharmacy must have a tough time hiring a decent cashier. They take too long when they have a line of people waiting, stop chatting and move people along please. Don’t refer to me as honey this is a pharmacy not a backwoods diner. This is enough to change to another pharmacy, I’ve already left grocery shopping here for Frys and traveling to Prescott to shop at Trader Joe’s.

For somewhere that is this expensive the bathrooms are DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY, looks like they never clean it, this is about the 5th time its been disgusting before i left this review. And some of the pharmacy staff are amazingly rude even when the patron is being patient and understanding, like asking a question in a normal tone is offensive somehow. Edit to remove some of the ranting, and to state: nice reply, but will you guys actually clean the bathroom? That would help, if its not a biohazard next time i take my 5yo girl in there. Will gladly edit again if actual action is taken. Thank so much:)

Safeway kept very clean. Isles never blocked with piles of on sale items. Employees are polite,except bakery. Shopping after 7pm is best time. No lines.BUT, it would be nice if the digital coupons worked better. Since I downloaded the app every time I've had trouble one way or.another.

This Safeway has been my closest grocery store for over 4 years and i always regret going inside. This store has LONG check out line ALL DAY LONG! I has just there and at 3:30 in the afternoon they could only manage to open 4 check out lanes (they have 9). This causes the customers and there carts to completely block the shopping isle that is next to the register and making nearly impossible just to get around the store. In addition my shelves are left bare include large areas of the the produce isle.

I like Safeway much more than the other big chains around here. It's much more organized and stocked. The biggest problem of today is employees. I dealt with one woman that seemed to be a supervisor or manager of some kind. I was putting my groceries on the belt and I just put my water up there and she says" Don't put it up there. I don't need it up there. I can't lift it." It's a shame when people can't do the job they're paid for. Another time, I was trying to use my Safeway card and also the digital coupons. The self check woman came over and told me it has to be one or the other. I said I wanted to use the option with the best benefits so I want to start over. She was quite irritated and disgustingly swiped her card to delete everything so I could start over. There's other examples but as I said, it's today's society. Most people don't like doing their job. The get an attitude if they're asked to do something. So only 3 stars from me.

Went in this morning needed help, buying a new product to us for out of town guest. The employee was very rude to my husband. Then said I don’t understand his accent and said let me help your wife. So fyi if you can not help Hispanic with a accent, speaking English, we may have a problem shopping there. Because I am not always with him. And there are many customers with accents locally. I did find the comments disturbing. We found products ourselves, and no check out open. Self checkout, As 4 lady’s were chatting. Did not ring up correctly, paid the extra and just exited. Not a good experience. The comment before was a lot of same complaints. Shocked

Just stopped at Safeway and no cashier. I understand this is suppose to be the new norm. I feel as if I am shopping and paying theses high prices I should have some good customer service. Not somebody thinking I should know what I’m doing. I won’t be back to this store

The store is beautiful. Not all of the bakery staff is as helpful and friendly as other parts of the store. Too bad as they do nice work. The tower cake was leaning as the didn't have it refrigerated when I picked it up. We made a feature out of it and it worked out. It didn't look as pretty but it tasted great!

I wanted to pickup a Rx at 1:15. A pharmacy person said come back after 2. There were 2 people in front of me. Maybe you should open both registers to process everyone before you have lunch!!!

Just stopped by the deli and two of the employees were having a verbal altrication. One lady telling the other to shut up before she walked off. We were just waiting to have a sandwich made for 5mins while all this was going on. Asked the remaining lady if they had a tuna sandwhich and she just said they were short staffed without answering my question. So we had enough at this point and decided to leave the store at this point. It was a bizzare thing to witness. I think employees need to take their personal conflicts outside or in the back of the store.

As soon as I entered the front door on 3/20/23 the store smelled of dead fish. Never have I been to a grocery store with such a strong fish odor. I left without making a purchase because it was unbearable.

I went over to get some flowers for the table for my daughter's Thanksgiving table. The flowers were beautiful,fresh,fragrent, and a fair price. I also checked out the bakery. What a nice display of Desserts. I boughtv2 pies. Much better than Fry's.

Expensive, at least more than Fry's, but interesting selection or unique things is extensive for sure... Basics are pricier, & there is a Starbucks inside, convenient for enthusiasts but useless for those who dont partake. Nice ladies at customer service, registers rather than automations is real nice. Also along with an app prices can be good, a little confusing at first but with phone, but now it is all good, crazy eh, something is said about the decent stuff on sales

Fresh bread straight out of the oven! I couldn’t resist the temptation of eating it right then and there… Because, warm bread, right?Ok selection of cheeses, which is why we went there… tried 3 other grocery stores and none of the other places had good cheese.
