I absolutely love this store! They have the very best produce, vegetables in Cottonwood. I always make a point of coming here for my vegetables. And also their meat has been good they have a lot of good specials, and if you are looking for authentic Mexican products they do carry those as well. I go to Mexico a lot and I love going to Food City because it makes me feel like I'm in Mexico for a moment, 😊

For my family, it is the best place to get our meats and produce. We can usually find everything we need with shopping here, without having to go to multiple different stores. Prices are good, the meat department and cashiers are always so friendly and helpful.

The selection was limited on fresh groceries and other food items, had to supplement with another grocer. It's a good spot if you're looking for specific spices and hispanic grocery items. Really comprehensive soda offering, some I have never seen before.

The deli crew are by far the BEST in town! Im in there about 4 to 5 times a week usually to get strawberries and cream, the outstanding pes salad (I'm seriously addicted to it!),and the chicken burritos. As for the store youll always find what you need, just ask and theres always a friendly face happy to help.

Great little store with a taste of Mexico. Not as well stocked as similar stores in Phx, but a great compliment for food shopping in the Verde Valley.

Fabulous grocery store, well stored, huge produce selection, bakery, fresh meat and seafood market. It is very clean and well organized. Shelves are all well stocked and fronted out.

Very organized and clean everything you need. They offer 16lb bags of ice. Most other stores only have the 5lb. Staff is a little slow to check customers out.

FOOD CITY is very expensive. The only items I buy there are vegetables. From eggs to milk to bread just about anything else is as expensive as Safeway. This store is my last resort and only go if I don't want to drive to Frys.

Horrible customer service, go to Safeway across the street instead! The “manager” on duty was super unprofessional and unfriendly. She refused service and told me I could talk to her boss and come back tomorrow. I’d love for the main manager to please reach out. Nora does a horrible job with her position and shouldn’t retain it.

This Mexican grocery store isn't bad but it's defiantly Mexican product in here, the produce is pretty good prices and most is good wholesome food... The hot counter has decent hot chicken product, pork too... The breaded chicken breast is very good in particular ...throughout the store is Mexican versions of American products (packaging) all around it's got some decent products and prices ...I'm usually a happy camper after leaving.. & i come often to look for deals, & a deal. They always have good quality veges available.

Workers are always friendly and helpful, I was there on this occasion to get blocks of ice. Also like the only place in town that sells blocks of ice. The store is clean,floors are polished.selves are stacked. Plus they have BBQ CHICKEN 🐔 😋 AND RIBS FRESH AND 🔥 HOT, from Wednesday thru Sunday. Mmmmmmmm!

This particular Food City you can find a unique variety of foods that can be used to make Mexican food, includung premade Mexican foods as well. They usually have the best price and quality of meat. They still have butchers in the back. They have items that you will not find in other local stores so make sure to check out the whole place if you have not been here before.

Went here last week to pick up a birthday cake I had ordered. When I arrived it was determined they had spelled my name wrong on the cake, they didn't offer to fix it or anything, just said sorry and wrong it up at full price. It tasted great though, just a bummer about the name, especially since I verified the writing twice when ordering it.

Was wanting to purchase items at the deli when u walk in the door. The employees (male & female) would not stop talking even after they saw me looking right at them. (5min 11sec) to be exact. Then I watched as other employees took their children back to the kitchen. Not well ran nor did they care! Left and went to Safeway!

I shop there with regularity. The store is clean, they have great prices on local Hispanic food AND their fresh donuts are some of the BEST and reasonably priced for fresh baked. Also, love the availability of their fresh, hot meals. Everything I have eaten there: fried and baked chicken, their chicken burrito, and chile rellenos are DELICIOUS!! I have purchased money orders there as well. With the price being only .45 cents, there is no need for me to go elsewhere.UPDATE: Monday, 8 August 2022. Recent visits have been economical enough with the rising costs of food and fuel nationwide. My main purchases are their candles and fresh cooked meals. However, I have walked around and picked up other products which were moderately priced: snack crackers and granola bars. Friendly staff, nice layout of the store, open uncluttered aisles make for easy shopping experiences.
