This Goodwill is an eh. What bothers me is when you go to the drop off to donate the employees dont help you unload. They just leave the buckets outside for you. Sometimes they come out but that its. Normally, it doesnt bother me but I am 8 months pregnant carrying 2 bikes by myself. I had to go back home and grab two more and I ended at the Mission. They were VERY friendly and helped me.If you decide to go in and shop, i just would recommend to not go if you are in a hurry. There is NEVER EVER enough people in there. Line waits are very long. Pretty sure the employees raid the donations before they go on the floor. I was once told they arent suppose to do that, but I have heard that talking about taking stuff home when I donate. Which, bothers me.

Just one cashier we stay for hours in the line. Chaser called for back up but nobody came. Poor lady.I won't come back. They don't have good deals.

Employee named Deb was extremely rude and unkind. I left my card in my car and apologized and said I would go get it real quick and she immediately raised her voice at me and proceeds to say “Then you need to get out!! I have a line, (which was one person). What are you looking at?! Are you going to go get it or get out I have costumers waiting. Hurry up go right now!!” and proceeds to throw her arms in the air and rolls her eyes at me. I run to my car to find it and come back to tell her I left it at the house and apologized. She says very sarcastically, “You can go talk to my manager if you’d like” with a cold fake smile. I left to my car and she comes out of the store looking and pointing at me. No reason to treat someone like that. Watch out for her I guess.

This may be a smaller Goodwill Store than some people are used to but...there is a ton of nice assorted items in this little store. Most items are priced accordingly. You can get an especially good deal if you look for the color of the day tags as that item is 50% off. This store was clean and organized. The cashier was friendly.

We used to love shopping here, but it has gone downhill. Items are extremely overpriced with stains and holes. Definitely look things over before making a purchase. An employee lady was following my teenage daughter around asking her “are you going to buy that?” and at one point, I spoke up saying we were shopping and she made a comment about us not being able to afford the price. Because of this, I doubt We will go back. I think it’s ridiculous that they won’t allow customers to try on clothes, then only offer store credit within 5 days of purchase when things don’t fit. They figured out how to make more $$$. I wish more people donated to the Mission so they would have a better selection.

Goodwill is now in the rip-off game. I went into this store to buy a pair of jeans. I’m in between a 34-36” waist so I found 3 pairs (in two sizes) that I liked. When I asked if I could use their dressing room, I was told that they were closed and couldn’t be opened. “But don’t worry you have 7-days to return them if you’re not happy”, I was told this TWICE!! I begrudgingly bought all three. After getting home I tried them all on and only one fit So I drove right back to the store (and it’s impact on the environment) and found out that they DON’T give you cash back, but a useless store credit! If the store employees had mentioned this, I would not have purchased anything. All because they don’t want to open their dressing rooms! This is a horrible business practice and a giant ripoff. after I use my store credit (which can’t be used outside of my home area), I’ll never return. Goodwill has no good will.

The size of the store is nice but it seems like it's mostly clothes. Lately the shelves have been pretty empty. The wall of bags has not had as many as they used to which is the main thing I use to go in the store for. I would love to see the coffee mugs on a higher shelf like all the other places do. You can't really look at them very well on that bottom shelf.

I've told the manager that they shouldn't be selling used bicycle helmets as they are unsafe for anyone else to wear. All they said was contact our corporate office. I did, as well as emailed them and over a year later, still no answer. The reason for not selling used helmets is because they are formed to the original person's head(foam inserts/shell), and it could come off of the next person's head. This comes directly from Bell, the manufacturer of a lot of helmets. If you value the safety of your child, since Goodwill doesnt, please DO NOT BUY USED BICYCLE HELMETS!

Pros: Nice checker. Not bad selection because it’s stocked pretty full. Cons: My issues are their higher pricing. Seems over priced for many items. $5 for a little basket? No returns. Can’t try clothes on first. So dropping $7 each on a few pairs of used shorts that may not fit just doesn’t feel right. Would buy more if they priced things better.

I have had to return several pairs of Ladies slacks, as the fitting roooms are no longer available. That, is a bit inconvenient, but understand why!In the several times I have returned the non fitting slacks, I have dealt with the Manager of the Cottonwood store, and a couple of employees!Customer service there, is AAA plus!Karen Harrison, Cottonwoodfun

I just had an experience here at the Cottonwood store this evening that must be shared with the entire WORLD! I figured here was a good place to start . I arrived this evening around 8:20pm. Didn't get a car t at first because I knew it was going to be a quick trip and didn't think there would be a need, about halfway thru, I grabbed a cart because of all of the wonderful things I found, shopped some more, at 9:01 pm the announcement came, the store is closed, make your way to the front of the store. As I was meandering toward the front, I noticed a hat I liked, grabbed it and looked in the mirror. This is when an employee, 30ish female, long dark hair, approached and, in an annoyed, rude tone, informed me that the store is close and I am to head out. I told her there was no reason to be rude, started heading toward the front of the store as she was then telling me that they wanted to go home as she was continuing to the front of the store. I then decided that she was right. They are closed and no longer want to preform their duties. Not even being polite to fellow human beings, poor overworked urchins, how dare I meander along taking my time to spend that $100 I was about to divvy out to Goodwill Industries? I parked the cart and, to her yelling "you're not taking any of it?" I responded " no, you're closed." So my suggestion is maybe backing up that final announcement by maybe even just 15 mins, allowing the customer to get used to the idea.. allowing for the employees to still know the store is open and to realize there should still be measures taken to be pleasant to their customers ( Or maybe you just aren't ever pleasant there?) as they aren't encroaching in on their off time as it seems 9pm is when the coach becomes the pumpkin, then the jig is up. I got to my car, found my keys, got in, started it, and as I was driving away, they still had at least 1 customer ringing out... so it seems she was just prowling the store for someone to assault with her poor attitude and ZERO customer etiquette. Thank her for saving me at least $100 tonight and for all the countless $100's I won't be dropping there in future trips as there will be none . Unfortunate I didn't get my treasure but, as I own a treasure shop of my own, I've got plenty.

They had some very nice elephant pieces for a great price. I got them all as my daughter is decorating the house in elephants for my mom's 81st birthday we didn't do anything for her 80th as the family didn't get together because of COVID so this year even though it will just be my family and her we decided to go big. The 2 of us have been having fun finding anything elephant I find quite a lot at good will. There prices are good and the place clean.

Seems the stock has slim Pickens for shorts😞store clean and good selection in housewares. Didn't require I wear a mask, like Twice Nice. Yay! Seems prices have gone up since I was here last year. Quick, easy check out.

Way~~~~Overpriced. $2.49 for a single used Walmart pillow case. $14.99 for a jean.... end up. I can only afford a $0.99 laundry bag. And a young man cashier ask me to round up for a dollar without saying greetings or thank you . :( Good luck for your business.

So much good stuff. Found clothing, trinkets, decor, camping...all in one place at great prices. Someday I will actually find items I want at the color of the week price, lol, so I'll keep shopping until then!

There are always new items each time I go in there. The people are pleasant and helpful. There should be more to choose from on the color tag discount days. You have to search for the special colored tags. They are hard to find if you don't have all-day to shop.

This is a really nice place now. I was able to get more than I wanted, but it was a great deal. I went in to get 1 thing but I came out both armfulsBut what was really great is the staff? The staff. I had the doors open and all of the staff did a great thing of helping me out on and showed me were it was. Not telling me, thay walked me to were I can find itGo there it is very cool!!

Always an adventure in shopping when you go to a thrift store. Right?! I don't go with a list. But instead have a few things in mind just in case they are there waiting for me. Clothes by color, one side for men and one for women. House stuffing the back. I tend to look at the bags of misc stuff they have hanging on racks, you never know what you'll find.

Sad to see this Goodwill go downhill over the last 2 years. What used to be fun is now not on my list of thrift stores to visit anymore. High prices and poor selection of good items. You have lost my business along with alot of my friends and acquaintences.☹

I love goodwill. But this paticular one seems to have a bunch of made up rules about donations. First they dont take appliances which the employee was incredibly rude about and today they apparently dont take couches with hide a beds. Its really becoming irritating and with the elevated prices and taking a bunch of time to load a bring them things that they seem to pick and choose they dont accept, goodwill will be officially my last stop for donating.

Love it here. Do great with keeping it clean but do feel the prices are getting to high and not consistant. An example is a wall mirror. Full length. Can get at Walmart new for $6. Seen um for $4. Goodwill is asking $8+. That's to high.

The pricing in this store is a little expensive, seeing they get it all for free. As a donation person to this store, sometimes I buy it here and re donate here so they sell the same thing again and again. I am sure I'm not the only one. I have seen better prices in other goodwills for similar. Plus we now have a few second had stores in town. Right now anyone can find work who needs it. Every store I go to has help wanted???

Goodwill is out of control lately. A single mom can't shop here anymore as they have decided that everything with a brand name should be 39.99. AT GOODWILL?? A brand new Michael Kors wristlet in a REAL retail store is 89.99. Explain to me why this one I found with lipstick ground into the front of it and some sticky candy covered in ants inside the zippered compartment cost 39.99?!? At goodwill?? I think they are ridiculous for thinking we would want to pay them anything. I won't shop here anymore. I'll shop at tjmaxx in Prescott where I can get brand new stuff for cheaper then goodwill wants for it's garbage. The one good thing is that they do have a lot of brand name stuff but u can't buy it for less than you would pay on Poshmark or Mercari which where I'll shop from now on if I can't make it to tjmaxx. Poshmark always has designer stuff thats clean and super cheap!

I think the prices are too high. I shop at thrift stores when I want to find a deal, not when I want to find something about the same price as Walmart but slightly used or even heavily used. I'm not feeling much goodwill at Goodwill. 🤨🤔

Its a great store with lots of stuff. I don't rate it as a 5 as their pricing is very high for a thrift. But its Cottonwood, and we don't have much of a choice. Unlike another reviewer, I'm always treated great in there, by everyone.
