Friendly staff, attractive & clean room, hot water (with a slight brownish tint - this is NOT a slight against the hotel, all water here has this tint). Room was quite chilly when we got in here, but heated up quickly. Right next to the road, but not loud. Would stay here again.Water really high in toilet.Heat does not extend to bathroom & was 25 degrees in there in the morning. BRRR!

I recently stayed at the Best Western in Chinle, Arizona, situated within the Navajo Nation, and I wanted to share my experience. The rooms were spacious, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, offering a pleasant retreat despite the hotel being in a remote location. What made the stay unique was the staff, who were Native Americans, adding a cultural touch to the service. The surroundings of the hotel were okay, considering the limited amenities in the small town. There’s a restaurant where the locals gather, emphasizing the close-knit community feel.Chinle is an incredibly small town, with just a Burger King, a gas station that also serves as a laundromat, and not much else. The hotel’s pricing seemed a bit high for the area, but given the limited options and my positive experience, I understand the justification. During my stay, I noticed I was one of only three vehicles parked at the hotel, highlighting the quiet and less crowded nature of the area.Overall, if you’re looking for a comfortable stay in a remote location with a touch of local culture, the Best Western in Chinle could be a suitable choice despite the limited amenities in the town.

I stay here all the time due to work and the best part is definitely the people. They are all super kind and welcoming and make me feel like I'm appreciated and valued. The rooms are okay, the beds are pretty firm and the pillows are small. The first floor bathrooms are tiny too. But they have the best wifi in Chinle and the people make up for it.Nearby activities: Visit Canyon De Chelly and Hubbell Trading Post when you're here!Food & drinks: The Junction hotel is on site and allows pick up to eat in your room, or dining in the restaurant.

I enjoyed the convenience of having a quality restaurant right next door to the hotel.Nearby activities: The perfect hotel to stay at before visiting Canyon De Chelly. The staff was very helpful answering questions and providing information about the National Monument.

Staff were friendly and professional. They were patient and engaged while checking in / out. Room was clean and comfortable. The room felt a little larger than the standard motel room size. While it was clear that the space was a little bit older, it was adequately maintained. AC worked. Location was fine. Nothing luxurious, but it was a good place to stay the night.

We were very pleased with the size and cleanliness of the room. 2 queen beds, small table with 2 chairs, and 2 luggage holders. Bathroom has been updated. We would stay here again. Breakfast is not included but coffee and cookies are provided in the lobby. Chinle has few dining opportunities so be sure to check to see if the Junction Restaurant is open. It was only open 7-11 when we were there. Room has small working refrigerator.

This property was consistent with what you expect from a Best Western - clean and comfortable at a reasonable price. However, I was under the impression we got a warm breakfast but that wasn't offered - it was suggested that we patronize the restaurant next door. Everyone was friendly and accommodating in the office and I have no complaints, it deserves about 3.5 stars in my opinion. The beds were comfortable, but the bathroom a little small but very clean. They unfortunately have brown water at times when you start the faucets which is a little annoying, but it goes away after a minute or so. I would stay here again if in town as it seems like the best option, esp since the only restaurant is right next door.

Paid for a Best Western+, but no breakfast, telephone didn't work, had to get maintenance to get ac/heat unit working. There was a restaurant, but went in 1/2 hour before closing...no tables. They did have breakfast, but it wasn't included with the room On the plus side, room was clean and staff very nice.

We had a nice stay here. Room was clean and roomy. Hotel staff very accommodating. The only downside was the well water. It definitely had a metallic smell when taking a shower. Other than that, everything was great.

It's conveniently located near the highway (191) and Park entrance. I stayed there for several days in March of this year. It's located within the Navajo reservation and the reservation has been under a lot of stress because of covid. I'm glad to help them in any way that I can by giving their hotel.business.It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. It's also in a very small community with lots of inner locking relationships. The parking is easy and plentiful. They got me the type of room I wanted with no problem. The rooms were clean and nice. The Wi-Fi collection was fine. The room's itself had all the space I needed and a Mini refrigerator and coffee maker which I use. Everything was working just fine and very clean I was impressed with the staff and their willingness to try to help me in any way that it could. For example the junction restaurant is located in front of the hotel and they gave me sage advice about when to use the restaurant, which I listened to. The hotel does not have a hot breakfast like a lot of Best Westerns but they offer some snacks. One needs to read in me hotel amenities page whichever Best Western and really every hotel has a description of what they offer. I think it probably has something to do with the junction restaurant being right in front they have an outstanding breakfast lunch and dinner, all are reasonably priced. The hotel was great, recently priced and made for relaxing three day stay.

My wife and I stayed one night here last week. The hotel and our room was clean, the front desk staff was helpful and the price is right. This motel has no breakfast but there is good restaurant on the property.

This is a MOTEL with exterior room entrances, not a hotel. Based on that fact and the drab color of the building, I would have never stayed here EXCEPT the reviews were decent and the only other hotel around, Holiday Inn, didn’t have queen sized beds, only doubles. I was skeptical so I asked to check out a room and was pleasantly surprised; the rooms are much nicer than the outside. There was no smell in the room I checked out (near the office, 100-something on the first floor). However, the room we ended up with, 300-something in the opposite corner, had a funky smell. Not horrible, just weird. And the reviewers who report about the lobby smelling strongly of cleaning solution are correct. The roll-away bed sagged and was old, but the main beds were very comfortable. No free breakfast but the restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast. The toilet in the fitness room hadn’t been cleaned for a while. Overall the place is survivable if you want to see the canyon. If you can sleep on a double bed, check out Holiday Inn nearby.

Well kept facility with nice room, good bed, and the usual amenities with exceptions.Shower room was cold, but shower itself was fine.NO microwave in room.NO breakfast provided. We liked being able to park directly in front of our room.We like individual access to the rooms (traditional motel) rather than from a hallway (hotel style) like most of the popular chains.

I have been to this Award Winning hotel many times, and every time has been a pleasure. The staff (hotel and restaurant) has always been polite and willing to help with area questions and directions. The rooms are always very clean and well-maintained. I have never had an issue with something being dirty or not working. The location is great, close to town and yet still close to Canyon De Chelly. We will continue to come here.

The rooms were very clean an comfy! I really appreciated the walk in Shower. We asked for extra pillows an received them promptly! Our door key didn't work always, but we didn't let them know either. Thank you for a great room.

if you are planning to stay at this hotel do to the fact of the on-property restaurant and continental breakfast DO NOT pick here. Restaurant is closed and they dont serve a breakfast. If we would have known this we would have stayed down the street @ the lodge. I feel Best Western owes us a refund. No WHERE were we told of these being closed.

Given a room with walk in shower despite reserving for 3 children, in room fridge had old food growing mold. The shower head was oddly positioned and hit me in the forehead/eyes despite being only 5'2" . The pool is closed despite it not saying anything online. There is no cell service in town or for about 2 hours after so be sure to know your route. We did not feel comfortable and packed up the kids and left by by 4am.I will say that the check in person was nice enough

Very warm, clean and newly remodeled rooms. The shower/bath water was dark (due to well water), but clean- no odor. Staff was very nice and there is a nice lobby with refreshments and a gift store. Price seemed high, but it’s the only place to stay for miles and miles so for us it was well worth it.

Our stay was terrific and we'll be back! Rooms were spacious and clean. It was so handy having the Junction Restaurant so close and the food was very good. There's a nice little gift shop on the premises plus a helpful desk clerk. Our only issue was a power outage during the night (when there was some snowfall) so clocks were off and our TV never recovered.
