I take my dogs here for bath. Always clean place. Bring your own towels during the pandemic. The shampoo and conditioner supplied is nice and soothing.

Absolutely wonderful place to bring your dogs for a wash and a treat. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. If you have big dogs, don't be surprised if they become addicted to the beef jerky they have there. I don't remember the name, but our dogs love it and I haven't seen it anywhere else.

We stopped in today and I'm so glad we did! Erica was absolutely great. We weren't looking for anything in particular but Erica took the time to find out about my fur babies. She helped me find the right puppy food and let us know the great specials on dog treats. She also provided us up with some free trials so that we could try some new products out. She was so friendly and professional and clearly loves her job. I definitely recommend stopping in.

This place is exceptional. I normally never go to any specific pet store. I just go where nearby for food and supplies. I actively search this place out and drive extra to come here after first visit.Their staff Brittany and other lady (older) are both so sweet and helpful without being hovering.They have good info on product and fair prices. I first time in my life have a place I come to first for my pets before internet or other stores !!!

My quick and first visit to Pet Planet was enjoyable. I needed a unique kind of dog food that was not grain free. New research cautioned continuing with that. The store was spacious and very well organizedThe clerk knew the inventory, found my bag of food and even carried it to my car for me.

This pet store was awesome! They had really unique chew items for dogs and the staff was super friendly. The prices were also very good for this type of more speciality pet store. I'll definitely go back to get more stuff for my dog.

I brought my dog in and washed him at their self service station, super convenient and easy! They provide shampoo, tub, water, towels, blow dryer, and a few brushes to use. There was even a waterproof apron so that I didn't get water on my clothes.

My husband and I just went into Pet Planet. We met the manager Sarah and told her the challenges that we have been having with getting our dog Chewy to eat. Sarah was very knowledgeable. She recommended a few different dog foods and she also gave us plenty of samples of both kibble and treats for us to try out with our dog. We are so thankful for her kindness and time today to get us on the right dietary path with our dog.Thanks Sarah!!

The new people are awesome! Glad because this location is close to home. Sara and Julie really seemed to know what they're talking about and made suggestions like they actually use this stuff for their own dogs. Very happy!

This is a great pet store. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Good selection of products. The cost is higher than the grocery store but you are paying for brands not found in the grocery stores. I frequent this store. Check them out!

my first time ever visiting a pet planet pet store today and i am only upset that i haven't came here sooner. i took my boy killer in today as a special treat for him being a good boy. he loves going to the pet store, almost like taking a kid to a toy store. he ran up all to the stands of all the non rawhide chews and started picking out which ones he wanted, i bought him 3 and they were honestly bigger and cheaper then the ones at petco and he has not stopped chewing since i got home! i also bought im an intro to raw dog diet 95% beef patties bag as a little trial of a healthy diet. i have been really wanting to start feeding him less dry , processed, and grAain filled dog food and try and get him on a healthy, protein and vegetable filled diet but its hard to transition into so i am glad i stumbled upon this store. the nice blonde woman who was working (i dont know her name) was so helpful and in formative about ways i can feed him healthier with this kind of a diet. she also gave killer an organic dog treat which i thought killer would have never eaten but he swalloed it in 1 second flat. she was so nice to give me a free bag of dog treats to take home! my dog loved it, and i got to spoil him all while spending less than 11 dollars, unheard of. that is amazing. sorry for such a long review, i never leave reviews but i dont think i will ever shop at a petco/petsmart again. thank you for the great experience

This place seemed at first to be awesome. It plays the local card. Then come to find out there are over 50 locations and they sell a lot of Canadian food. I liked that they sold these dog treats I found at a farmers market called Happy Tails Barkery. The treats are made out of things that I wouldn't mind eating. ie: cheese, bacon, and like chickpea flour. And oatmeal beef bites. Peanut butter things. I don't remember all of the ingredients but my dog goes crazy over them. So i noticed they had a pound bag at Pet Planet on Ray and Dobson (where I used to buy my cat and dog food). $17.99 + tax. I purchased it then went home and gave a couple to my dog that evening. The next morning I went to give her another one and something flew out into my face! I open it again and another flying bug flew out. Poured them all on a plate and there were many bugs (2 different types) and a bunch of webbing/nests. It grossed me out thoroughly and my papillon was mad because she didn't get a treat. So I emailed happy tails Barkery and she was on her way to make a delivery to the store on Chandler blvd, so she left a replacement pound bag of treats there for me. I had told her it was the store In chandler, not on Chandler blvd so we had a little bit of a miscommunication on both parts. So i told her that store was far from me so she called them and the Pet Planet on chandler and 40th st said they would deliver it to the ray and dobson store the next day which was cool. So that day I was in the area of the ray store and dropped in to give them the bag with bugs and ask for a refund. The lady working was Mima the "team captain". She was very rude. After she called the lady from HTB, she said that she would not refund my money and that it was happy tails Barkery 's fault because they would not reimburse her. If a restaurant or grocery store served or sold me food that had bugs in it I'm sure they would have no problem replacing the item and refunding me my money for having to make extra trips there and to save their reputation. She does not care about customer service. A grocery store would not tell me to contact their distributor for a refund. She badmouthed HTB saying they dont even like carrying their products. They dont have expiration dates and the lady said that the ray store hadnt ordered pound bags in over a year so they were old. If you are a store selling a product and they dont have expiration dates, you should ask the company how long the shelf like is so you can make sure everything you are swlling is safe to eat. It makes me wonder how old all of their food us and all the treats they have sitting out everywhere are. After arguing with me for 5 to 10 minutes, Mima writes me a $10 credit on her business card and puts that it expires in 2 weeks (12/1/15). So i call the next day to see if the treats were delivered to the ray store as planned. The guy that answered said that there was a note saying that something happened and the treats got delivered to the wrong store and they were not sure where as of yet. So i went on vacation for 3 days. I get back and I called yesterday to see if they had gotten it figured out yet. They same guy says he will call me back in a little while. He calls back and says his manager says that the treats were never delivered and that they were still at the chandler blvd store. He said I can either go pick them up there or wait for them to be delivered to their store, but he has no idea when that will be. So I call the chandler store and they told me that they tried to deliver them the day they were supposed to, but that the ray store told them that "I was going to pick them up at the Chandler blvd store because I had said that I was no longer going to shop at the ray store." I never said that. The store is way closer to my house than the other one. Now I don't want to go in there ever again which was her plan all along I assume. I will not use the $10 coupon. And I will tell anyone who cares about there pets ,DO NOT shop there. I emailed their corporate site and have had no response.

Okay we have given them five stars for the customer service that they gave Zevynna picking out her fish. However the price on these itty bitty fish were $8.40 a piece and they don’t even do tricks LOL

Have been.coming here for years. Not coming back. Employees don't know anything and they dont have Grooming anymore. It doesn't look like it did before. Shelves are empty and poor customer service.
