Lovely little store with a great variety of food, treats, and other supplies (carriers, scratching posts, leashes, toys) for cats and dogs. There's a dog wash that I see a lot of people use (I only have cats) and it seems to work very well for them! Friendly, helpful staff and they often have lots of fun seasonal toys/items. They will also special order and price match which is a huge help! I come here often and it's always a pleasure!

No one was at the front desk when I walked in cause staff was chatting with someone at the back. There was no eye contact. When I stood there waiting for the conversation to be over for some help, the staff continued chatting with another guest about something not about pets. I know returning guests is essential, and there is a lack of employees everywhere. However, the staff could give me eye contact or smile and let me know she would help me out later. Just leaving a new guest to wait without even eye contact is rude. A lot of things inside, most of them are about dogs. Price is strange. Instinct Dry Cat Food 5 LB usually is $20 to $30, and here it is $36. I do not recommend this place to anyone cause of the experience. Hope they could do better next time.

Stop shopping at the big chain stores. You need to come here for your pet supplies. They have a huge variety of pet food, treats, and toys. The store is large and clean. It’s well organized and easy to maneuver. The staff is helpful and congenial. This place has personality plus. They also have everything your pet might need.

Love this pet shop, the people who work there are always so kind and helpful, the toy and treat selection is unmatched! I also love the self wash station, makes bath time for my pup so much easier and she gets to pick out a treat after!

The team members in Pet Market is a great staff!!! I just wanted to share that I always feel welcomed when I come in and they always check in to make sure if I need assistance. One night, I zoomed in the parking lot at 8:59 from getting off of work late , and Alex seen me running towards the door from afar and still let me in to grab what I needed with such patience and a smile! I was soo soo grateful! I’m sure he wanted to go home but he did not rush me at all and my little pup was happy to have his food :) THATS amazing customer service !I’m excited to see Brooke as the manager now! Such a pleasant personality and always so helpful! You picked a good one!And let’s not forget Kat! Very kind and always inviting !Just met Zachary as well and a shining smile to add to the team!Thank you all for being you !

Pricing! For a family owned store, you should be competitive with pricing and not screwing over your local customers. A dog toy I have been looking at was $40 at your store but $18 every where else. I get its a rough time, but to double the price is insane. I guess it's just business, but I personally could not sleep at night knowing I'm screwing over my customers. And this isn't just one toy it's many things I personally know the pricing and saw in your store. I will never be back and support a business like this. You should feel ashamed.For everyone else that shops here!! always price check!!

This is a cute and friendly shop. They have a good selection of products and a very clean store. Staff are friendly and helpful. We will shop here for one-offs as it's very close to home, however as others have mentioned the pricing is not financially sustainable for us to shop here for all our needs. One package of specific treats we buy was 22 dollars here vs 12 dollars at other stores. The dog wash looks interesting and we might also pursue that to support them. Totally understand it's a hard market for local businesses vs the big chain stores and would like to support this store. Maybe there are other unique things they could pursue like the dog wash station to set themselves apart from other shops.

What a RIP OFF! I do not live on this side of town and was house/dog sitting. I needed some eyewash. I found the Vetericyn on Amazon and could have had it delivered by 10pm. However, I always prefer to buy local and I knew I could pick it up quicker. I called My Pet Market and they said they had in stock. Well, I never thought to ask for price. I know frequently buying local (especially on pet products) means you will likely pay 5-10% more. WELL, I ended up paying a 280% (yep that's right) markup over Amazon, Walmart, , and Petco. It lists for $14.24 - $14.25 on all these sites. My Pet Market charged a whopping $39.99. And YES, these prices are ALL for a 3 oz bottle. Way to go My Pet Market for sending us all to the internet or other more ethical retailers. The prices at the 3 retailers I mentioned include their markup. So My Pet Market sees fit to rip off its customers by marking up an additional 280% over what other retailers mark up. I would NEVER set foot in this establishment again.

Very friendly and courteous staff. The employees offered help immediately, were extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. They even went up and beyond expectations by offering us a sample of the food to see if our cat likes it before purchasing the product. We will without a doubt be returning and they have definitely earned our business for the future. I'd give them 6 stars if I could!

My dog Loves visiting here..as soon as we pull into the parking lot she knows where we are going. Staff is ALWAYS very nice and actually enjoy seeing us. We go pick out a new flavor of Fromm..and then sniff around everywhere and then head to the front to smell all the goodies, only to choose the $5 hamburger every time... lol.She eats it there, and we grab another snack for another day..Reliable Great Customer Service!

This was an amazing experience! 🐾I took my Husky to the self-serve dog wash and everything was a breeze. Also, I barely got any water on me!The gentleman working was also very kind and friendly. He helped us to understand exactly how to use the dog wash Thank you for being here! I cannot wait to come back

It's wonderful to have such a great store nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful. The dog washing station is useful for our large dogs and allows us to clean them far more thoroughly than we could at home (and without getting soaked, ourselves, thanks to the aprons). We will definitely be back for more washes and more treats in the future!

Extremely overpriced.I’m from out of state and I needed yo stock for our trip back home. The bag of food that I normally get for $15 was $29 here. As well as frozen packets that I get for $11 is $19.99 here.The only thing I did like was that they offer a dog wash for a $14 fee.You bathe your dog they provide the shampoo and the machine offers water blower and dryer is timed. So you have to hurry before the time is up.But I found this place to be very expensive. I was told that they do honor local and online retailers prices and coupons.

This company used to seem really good but since COVID has gone completely downhill with how they’ve become greedy with pricing. WHY is a Stella and Chewys single $6+. They hike up the price and tell their employees to sell this idea that they are a “small family business”. Give me a break! We all are trying to sustain a living. $6 a single is crazy! They also have dog treats that I get for my dog normally at $19.99 for $50! $50?! What it is is they want you to come in thinking you get a price match all for you to find one and the next time you come in, the “office” changes or deletes the price match. I’ve had to change my dog’s food THREE times in the last two months because of how the prices fluctuates in this store. The one girl at the front with brunette hair says “They change it every six months and an email goes out”. No dear, it’s EVERY transaction!So if you have plans to play bargain and stand there at the checkout for 10 minutes looking for a price match each time you go in, by all means, this is your spot.Funny thing is the Scottsdale on Hayden location always just remembered my mom and I and built a relationship with us coming in to get food. They knew when the price changes happened but knew when we were just there. The brunette in the store was rude the first time I was there and then the tall manager this time says you can’t use a MANUFACTURER’s coupon with a price check (after the brunette approved it to the cashier ringing me up) ! What the heck? So the only way I can use my $3 off on 5 boxes of food at now 3.49 each (was 2.99 last week) is by just going for the original price at $6+ a box!Yeah okay… one greedy small family. I’ll find a better practicing pet place. I’m sure I’m not the only one sick of it

I love that there is a self operated dog wash here. The price is only like $13 bucks and they let you do two dogs, as long as you can get it done in 20 or so minutes. That's what I come for, but I noticed that the prices for their goods are crazy expensive compared to anywhere else I've shopped - either locally owned, big box, or online

I have been on a panicked journey to help my little papillon puppy. He has become fickle about his diet and won’t touch many items. My pantry has become stuffed with one-time tastings of foods that make him ill or that he would rather starve than eat. I was relegated to shopping all over town and found Bark Avenue to have a food he loved. The problem was the distance to get there is too far in my busy day.Convenient to our home and near places I love to go is Pet Market. Brooke at Pet Market listened to my worries and helped me problem solve for Monty. She has truly been compassionate and caring. Her wise counsel found the perfect solution on the second visit and he’s so happy. So am I. The kind staff there have made me a fan.

Nicest people. I buy Taste of the Wild for my dog here because the big stores don’t carry it and always had excellent service. I called to get curbside pickup today for some supplies for my dog and they were super nice and quickly found what I needed and I paid on the phone. Super easy. They brought it out and put it in the car when we arrived. A little pricey but it’s because they have good quality items.

Would not recommend shopping here. I purchase a dehydrated raw dog food made by Stella and Chewy. Normal retail price for a 14oz bag is $29, they charge $49! When I complained about the price they just said sorry, our prices are a little higher because we are not a big chain. If it had not been late and my dog needing dinner I would have walked out.

The staff was very helpful at finding me supplies I needed for my new guinea pig she was very knowledgeable about products and also was able to help me cut some Corners to bring my price down a bit with their price match option. After I left here I went to check out some things at a local competitor at store where I found an item cheaper I called and informed the woman I had spoken with and she had me return to the store and she price match the item that I bought and get me $10 off set item after I'd already purchased. Staff is friendly and really consumer-focused it's great.

All their staff members are very knowledgable and helpful. My dog had some health issues and lost his appetite, they worked with me to get free samples from 5 different dog foods to help me find one my dog would like before buying the whole large bag. They knew more about the ingredients than I did, which was a nice change. I definitely recommend shopping here. Support small businesses - shop local.
