There is nobody better than Dr. Schmidt. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and precise in his treatment of our animals and at the same time amazingly caring and compassionate. I called to see if they could get our baby girl in and they got her in right away. They were amazingly caring and compassionate from the phone call to the moment we left. Love this place. Staff is helpful and accommodating. We moved to Chandler 5 years ago and within a month one of our dogs was diagnosed with cancer and needed surgery. We had a terrible experience with the vet we used. The techs were rude and unkind to our dog because she gets very nervous. We stumbled upon Lifecare because we needed an after hours bandage change. We have been with them ever since. We now have 3 dogs under their care and couldn’t be happier. My doctor is familiar with all three dogs, has a friendly and caring bedside manner and provides great care.

The staff from the check-in to completion are always friendly and courteous. We have dealt with Jessica a number of times and she knows us and our dog Lexi for a number of years now. Dr Schmidt has been our Vet many years and his professionalism always stands out when dealing with us and the care of our dog. We chose this vet for our girl because our son had a great experience there. It is always clean and upfront girls very helpful and the techs are the same and are very good at their job Mandy was excellent and we have had Lauren many times before both very patient and explain things well. Dr Higby was very clear and we did not feel rushed . It was a good experience and hope for good results.

Always a great visit: very clean, staff is courteous and they truly love caring for your pets from the front desk to the Doc! Take the time to truly understand what is going on and providing extremely good care. They don't push the unneeded and you have comfort in knowing you have complete control and what is done or not done to your pet.We drive an extra 30 minutes just for the services and care they provide.

Unfortunately, I am not able to post much about the experience with the actual doctors because we never made it that far. Last week (2/8) we'd had an appointment for our puppy for his 3rd round of puppy vaccines. We had experienced a death in the family, and were needing to travel (and subsequently, board our new puppy) much earlier than we expected. I called in advance of the appointment (on Tuesday 2/7) to ensure everything was in order and to talk to the team. This was our first dealing with them, and previously, our communication had been via text message. Everyone was very friendly on the phone and with the great reviews, I was confident that our fur baby would be well taken care of.Well, during the call on 2/6, it was determined that the 3rd round of vaccines wasn't needed until the following week, which was 3 weeks after his previous round of shots. I asked the team to move his appointment out one week (in this case 2/15), and I was told that a time was available, so I was happy and relieved (Wednesdays are typically an "easier" day for me to fit in appointments with my work schedule).When we arrived on 2/15 at the scheduled time, we were told that our appointment had been scheduled for the next day, and that the doc was all booked up. While typically, this could be passed off as a simple mistake or misunderstanding, the reason for this review is the lack of accountability by the front desk staff and the ultimate blame that was placed on ME for the mistake. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name, but when she returned from talking to the doctor (we'd asked to see if they could fit us in - even offered to pay their "emergency fee" - due to the fact that we had taken off from work in order to be available for the appointment), the first thing she said was that this issue was basically, my fault. According to her, I had obviously called in on Thursday 2/9, and that's why the appointment had been scheduled for a "week later." She then asked if we wanted to keep the appointment which they had scheduled for us, the next (incorrect) day.Even after correcting her on the date for my call, there was no "I'm sorry" or apology of any kind - in fact, after initially blaming US for the mistake in scheduling, she dodged accountability altogether. When I asked why she had not taken any accountability or hadn't apologized for the mistake at all, her response was "Well, I wasn't the one who scheduled it, so it wasn't my mistake." I took a moment to explain (or tried to explain) that as a front desk worker, she represented the organization, and I would have expected some sort of acknowledgment, instead of being blamed for the mistake. I don't know if she was having a bad day or if there was something specific that she didn't like about me (as an African-American man, I hate to think this way, but have to wonder), this almost seemed personal, and definitely not what I was expecting.Needless to say, after this experience, we will not be taking our pup back to LifeCare. It's disappointing too, as it seems so many people have had wonderful experiences there. For whatever reason, however, that "so many" group won't include us.For those of you who are contemplating LifeCare, it does seem like the reviews state the doctors are nice and caring, which is a great thing. Just hope you don't catch the front desk staff on a bad day :-(

I had to switch vets due to an unfavorable experience with my last office. Just walking in the door and being greeted by the front staff was a breath of fresh air. So welcoming and professional. My vet tech Jessica treated my Rocky like he was her own dog. Dr. Higby was awesome too! She took her time and ensured she covered everything. I wasn't rushed and was treated so good. I found my forever vet! Thank you all. ❤️

Dr Higbee and staff are amazing! They are always so sweet, compassionate and welcoming. Dr Higbee takes her time with us and we never feel rushed. She explains everything so clearly and gives gives great recommendations. Regarding cost of services, I have been to many veterinarians, and life care is by far the fairest priced not to mention better quality of service and professionalism. Teddy my fur baby loves his visits too! Thank you Dr Higbee and staff! You have a loyal customer!!

We’re very new but so far so good! Dr Higbee seems nice and knowledgeable. Front office staff is not overly friendly but techs make up for that. All in all I think it’s gonna be a good fit for my little Peanut.

Our 6 year old Yorkie had hardly moved for about 18 hours. By early morning we were beside ourselves so we went straight to Lifecare so we could be there when they opened. They were so kind and understanding. Dr. Schmidt sat down next to me and spent plenty of time examining our pup and then discussing everything with me. I’m so so thankful that they quickly were able to take blood and get our pup on meds. Dr. Schmidt called the next day to personally check in our Yorkie and the next day one of the sweet techs called. Beyond thankful for Lifecare!

I have used LifeCare for two of my dogs for the last four years. Staff is always very patient with sharing information with me about the situation of my dogs. The techs and doctors seem very knowledgeable, and willing to share their knowledge with owners. They are always upfront about what they recommend needs to be done and the cost. The love of animals is obvious and endearing. I’ve always received several follow up calls and reminders pertaining to the condition of and future appointments for my dogs. I will definitely continue to use LifeCare.

The staff here is wonderful, very friendly. They take the time to explain everything. The pricing is refreshingly reasonable. (and i love it when the doctor immediately sits on the floor to talk to my dog and make him feel more at ease.) These guys love their jobs! I would highly recommend in a heartbeat.
