Came for donuts for my church function. Got here at 645. Watched 2 employees joking and laughing. I asked when the donuts would be out. He said they are short staffed and don't know when they will be out. Behind him were 3 racks of finished donuts. The did not seem to care. Poor customer service. Dunking donuts here I come.

I've always liked Bashas', especially when they were truly locally owned. I prefer meat over Fry's, but Bashas' prices are generally higher than Fry's or Safeway/Albertson's (much higher than Winco or Aldi). Bakery is good, but preferred years prior when most baked goods were backed in store.

Quick in and out getting the items I needed. The staff was helpful and asked what I was looking for and gave directions on where to find! Great experience!

I've been a customer at Bashas for over 30 years. This location at Chandler Heights and Gilbert is directly across the street from my house. I can-and often do-walk there. It's certainly convenient. I'll start with the good- the bakery is amazing. Their baked goods are made in store and are tasty and fresh. The bakers have great talent for designing and decorating . It is convenient. Easy parking and good in and out for quick items. Now, for the bad: Bashas never ceases to not disappoint me. They are primitive in their selection. Very basic choices. If you want to try new or more exotic products, this isnt the place for you. Today, I went there for dill. Basic dill. I tried the tube dill and it was empty. I tried the dill in a package and it was empty. I looked for whole dill to chop yourself and I couldn't find it or anyone to ask. I left. I would have gone down the street 1/4 of a mile to Frys if I felt like a whole production, but I just needed dill. I won't badmouth the cashiers, but many don't seem very pleasant in the morning.They aren't terrible, but also don't give you the warm fuzzies. I used to be more motivated to shop here when the Bashas actually owned it and I was supporting a wonderful local family. Now that's its been sold to a CA company, I don't have the same allegiance. Bottom line, it's OK if you need simple items and don't want to fight the crowds, but if you're looking for more adventurous stuff, you may want to skip out.

Great sale prices. The store always has cashiers to check you out, so u dont have to do it yourself. The employees are always quick to ask you if you need help finding anything. Bashas has become my new favorite place to shop!

First time to shop and will be last. Had a hard time with ap,asked for help to get deals. Both the cashier and manger were very rude,I'm am 76and do not like other women or men treat me like there are wasting there time . I was a cashier for 25 years and never treated anyone the way they did.

So today 5/21/22 we got a phone call from the bakery explaining to us that they cannot make the cake we requested which is a 10 inch round cake in the shape of a Pokeball for my daughters birthday party. So they suggested they could make 25 cupcakes in pokeballs we said ok well try that. But why tell us the day of? So we went to pick up the cupcakes and OMG THEY LOOKED AMAZING!!! thank you bashas Bakery for the amazing work you guys and gals do for us! We go to this bakery every year for our daughters cake and they have not disappointed yet! Thank you!!

It’s so nice to have this Bashas’ grocery nearby. It’s the perfect size and location. Easy in and out yet they have everything the giant grocery stores have. I don’t know how they do it!

I love this store Unfortunately the staff is not as friendly as it used to be...I've been shopping here since it open approx 15 yrs ago, and sadly the customer service has definitely declined...I remember when Chris was there, he was absolutely amazing! He would go above and beyond to help you, or even to greet you, he was genuinely friendly and caring, honestly all the associates there were very pleasant back then. Now that Lisa and the other manager are there (not sure what his name is) the service is totally different, they are there to do their job and that's it. The cashiers specially the young ones, sometimes they don't even greet you, and that upsets me... anyway I used to love this store because of their great employees, not anymore, I still shop there because it's close to my house and it's convenient, but as I mentioned before it's sad to see that their customer service is not like it used to be...

Although they have Plenty of parking, DON'T ARRIVE BEFORE 19:00, check in at 20:00 but no one is in any hurry to get anyone checked in. 1 person in 30 minutes 20+ people in line. This is going to be a long nightmare just to unload 5 pallet. Best advice DON'T Deliver here.

I always liked Bashas because stores are so cleaned and well stocked. prices are pretty good and the seem to have quality items. I like the deli and bakery. meat dept smells clean too. a plus for me. Staff was friendly and helpful too. I recommend this placeAnd it has a Starbucks. which my family likes

This is a really nice store. Great set up and wide isles. Starbucks and deli inside. Multiple places to sit. Pharmacy has monthly services, like blood draws. Hurry now they have over stock on TP! More than half off. Men's bathrooms are clean and even decorated, Bougie.

The store is solid. Prices are competitive and it's easy to check out. More of an old school sort of grocery store. I find that sometimes they don't carry some ethnic food items but, overall a very good selection. I like shopping here better than Walmart it seems less chaotic.

Pleasantly delighted to find a great deal on the very delicious donuts in their bakery section. So good. Larger, fresher, fuller then I have been accustomed to from other places in the area.

I love this bashas! Everyone is friendly, deals are great, produce is fresh and meat is top notch! If you have never checked out the taco boxes they sell in the meat Dept, you must! Flavorful meat at a great price every day! Super easy dinner and enough to save half and freeze! Also, if you need anything made in the bakery, Cindy is really talented and helpful! The cashier Bonnie is so friendly and sweet! Feels like home every time I go!

Convenient location for me. Clean and covered parking is nice. Not a fan of Bashes brand products. Most items are more expensive than Frys and Safeway. Doesn't have as good of a selection as Frys. Hot food is actually pretty good and nice donut selection. Employees are friendlier than Frys and Albertsons near me. Not usually very busy

Bashas' is a great local store. Having shaded parking is outstanding and nearly one-of-a-kind. Selection is good but space limitations prevent it from being great. Store employees are better than most in attention and and courtesy. Prices are not high but tend not to compete with large stores nearby. It's availability gives it a big boost in rating.

Just please put a sign on the doors so people can read be entering the store to please smile no need for ugly faces.

Awesome store, cleanest I've ever been in. Staff is all smiles and helpful. Covered parking couldn't be a better way to keep your customers comfortable. More of the local grocery stores should follow Basha's way of presenting their store. Way to go BASHA'S!!!

One of the nicer stores, even has covered parking. All the surrounding area is high value so it shows with thr quality of how the store is kept and how they treat there customers. Other stores in lower class areas aren't nearly as good as this one.

This is my personal favorite store to shop in. The best part is their bakery. The staff are very friendly, and the store is not oversized like frys. Always a pleasure to shop in this store. Prefer to shop here, even if their prices are not as low as other stores at times. Store is also very clean and well-run (from what I can tell).
