We had went to various fist stores last weekend and were not actually purchasing anything at the time. We are getting a fish tank for our son soon and wanted to check out local stores to see where we should give our business. This was conveniently located close to home. The staff was very nice and friendly. Their fish looked to be in good health and the tanks clean as well. I recommend this shop and look forward to coming back soon to make our purchase.

I had my tank moved by Artistic a few days ago. I didn't have to lift a finger. Dallin and his associate took care of everything. They were polite, patient, and took the time to make sure the job was done right. They cleaned up after themselves and left things in better shape than they found them in.

This LFS is top notch staff will take the time to ask questions about your tank when looking to add live stock including coral. I was set on wanting a fish and most stores would just sell it to you. however after the staff asked what I had in the tank they actually went through the reasons why I should not add it. They also will take the time to look up how compatible corals and fish are for the existing live stock in your tank. In short extremely knowledgable and friendly.

Whenever I come into the store for things and ask questions the staff is always very responsive an helpful. I called about advice on a product I purchased from this store an I could tell the employee went and located the exact product to help me out. As not all hobbyists use the same products. He still knew what he was talking about an his information made me a lot more comfortable with what I was doing.

Staff was very friendly, helpful and Very patient with my family asking questions about a good set of fresh water tropical fish. They answered all of mine and my families questions with professional knowledge. They made sure that I had everything I needed as far as supplies and knowledge to take care of my first tropical tank. All of the fish they recommend for us made the 136 mile trip home no problem!!!!

Love the place great staff and owner. Mara is great always helpful and knowledgeable. I've always had a great experience there shopping or just looking.Love what they do there.My go to for my RedSea Reefer 300xl that I wanted and got and all my other saltwater needs.👍

Name is Brandon from Maricopa and Saltwater tanks was something I have done and failed in the past because how hard it was, after visiting Artistic Aquariums they have made this second go around so simple and easy My family and I are so happy with the great information and knowledge they provided . These guys help around the clock and make sure your tank is done right. Going into the AQ is like hanging out with friends and even if they are closing the are still willing to give you all the info needed to make your experience memorable. Simply a fun place to be .I hope I'm spelling her name right but Candice is awesome and I just got the Coral setup that she sold me and the info provided on what they are, how they eat and even down to the place to put them she went beyond customer service so simply thank you .Eric your the best man!

This is one of the best aquatic pet shops I've been too. It was very clean. The staff is knowledgeable. They have a decent selection for fresh-water fish and foods. The fish were all very healthy looking. We didn't check out their saltwater section so I can't really say much there. But they did have a small room with saltwater tanks as well. I'll definitely be returning when I'm ready for some ghost shrimp and more plants!

This store is very unique.They probably have the best saltwater selection in the valley.Some of the aquarium tech’s are great when things get real and their also very competent too .The store staff is very patient and very knowledgeable.

Such a cool place with lots of unique fish and other beautiful creatures. They all seem to be very well taken care of and all live in proper size TANKS. no fish in tiny plastic cups anywhere. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Being a fairly new Betta owner I felt very confident I was getting proper and accurate info. I highly recommend Artistic Aquariums to anyone.

What an amazing place! The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Their store is incredibly clean and the aquariums are some of the cleanest I've ever seen. The staff was patient with all 10,000 questions I asked. They love what they do and it shows. I shopped around the valley before stopping here, and I don't plan to go anywhere else moving forward. I can't recommend them enough. They've earned a lifelong customer.

Artistic Aquariums has been a great resource for me as I've grown deeper into the aquarium hobby. They have a very clean store filled with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff who have given me the straight forward information I need in a hobby that's filled with unnecessary and overkill opinions. Chris has been especially helpful and not only willing, but excited to answer all of the questions that I have whenever I decide to add a new species into my tank or run into something I'm unfamiliar with. There aren't many places these days that offer the combination of customer service, knowledge, and passion for their product that Artistic Aquariums does, and that's why it's the only aquarium shop in the East Valley that I go to anymore.

I just want to give a thank you to Eric and his son. They moved my tank to my new house for me today. Did an awesome job with no stress on me. Moving is a huge hassle in general. Eric gave me the ability to focus on moving to my new home and not about moving my aquarium. Everything was set back up the way I had it. I didn't have to touch a drop of water. I love artistic aquariums. One of my favorite fish stores. Great staff and awesome management. Their manager Chris has been a huge help for me. And one great thing about their store is that if they don't have a fish in store then they will go out of the way to order you what you're looking for.

The staff if super knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They really listen to what your looking for and guide you accordingly. The store is very clean. The water was crystal clear with amazing lighting. The layout between fresh and saltwater was flawless. Set the standards pretty high for aquatics. Prices are spot on with comparisons to other places, including amazon. Will continue to support this business for some time to come.

Honestly in my opinion worst pet store in the valley. They had 3 strikes with me and now their out. I will never return to this store. First, I came in for tigger pods and asked where I should put them in my tank. Guy responds with my refugium. Not knowing what that was I asked where else I could put them since I didn’t have one. Guy responds with put half in the tank and half in the media section. Not a bad recommendation but a little more help or guidance would have been appreciated. Second, I called and asked if they had a black ghost knife and was told they do. Drove there to find out they hadn’t had a black ghost knife fish for a week or more. Finally, I called today asking if they had cleaner shrimp and was told they did followed by letting me know it was 20% off salt and freshwater fish. I asked if that applied to the cleaner shrimp and was told yes. Drove there again to be told the 20% off didn’t apply to invertebrates. Again my opinion but, first a rude and unwelcoming introduction then the wasted drive for a fish they never had in the first place and another wasted drive for a discount I confirmed I should get but was told didn’t. Go literally anywhere else but this store.

No one in this store was wearing a mask. When being helped, there was no discussion about the fish or fish care. However, it was very nicely laid out and well stocked. Having been to another aquarium store that day where the staff was exceptionally friendly and happy to talk about fish care, this store had a feeling of 'i need to get back to stocking this, so I'll shrug at your questions and not give much supplemental information'.If you know what you need, great. Window shopping, great. Real advice where you don't feel like you're pulling teeth or leading the conversation? Not your place.Also, no masks. Not on the employees, not on the shoppers. No signs saying masks required. Not sure that says they care much about their customers. City has a mask ordinance.Edit: lowered the star rating as the owner has yet again proven the main point of not really caring about their customers as they only addressed the mask part and not the employees comments either.You may 'feel' science is optional (despite aquariums being fairly scientific) so your choice on that point, but if you want better information and feeling very welcome, go elsewhere.

My husband and I are here on a weekly basis to check out salt water levels. The Staff is nothing but helpful. I don’t remember her name but one of the workers whose blonde and petite always greets us with a smile and treats us so nice !Another thing I love is that they take care of the fish, and how clean all the tanks are. Compared to other spots we have gone to, they stand out.Recommend checking this place out

The staff here is amazing, always willing to put in the proper knowledge during those times that I just do not know. The team at this shop takes customer service to a whole different level. " Hey man , we sold you a fish a while back that will not mix well with that fish how about this one instead?" They did not only make sure all tank mates would be happy , they remebered the fish and corals in my tank. All of the ( customer centric) stuff aside everybody always has a smile and trys to ensure that you not only walk out of the store with the fish or coral best for you, they go above and beyond to make sure you have the same smile. Cheers to the team that just gets "IT".

So I was really excited to visit this place and see what they had to offer. The facility is very clean and well kept. They had very unique livestock. The reason for my not so raving review is the following:First, They sell high end equipment (specifically Neptune Systems). However not a single salesman knows anything about this product. Multiple times I have called or came into the store and they do not know what product I am talking about and how it works. They then try to explain how it works and they are not correct. I think the guys need some training on the equipment they sell.Second, I have called a few times to ask if they have something in stock and they say they will or they may have it and I say I need it today and they try to pressure me to purchasing it even though it is not in stock yet.Third, and the most frustrating part is I have called to order a part and come in and pick it up only to wait for an hour as they do not have the part they said they would. This has happened twice now.And finally, there return policy is not very good. If a customer buys something that is not right for their aquarium whether or not they were told it was by a salesman you should offer full refund on an item used or not. I purchased something from them and could not return it because I opened the box. I think it should be allowed to be returned maybe with a restocking fee at most.
