Every time in the last month that I’ve stopped at this location there’s empty spaces on the shelves everywhere. Of the ten items I’m looking for I walk out with six of them. Even simple common items like milk and bread/buns/etc. - Not just one type of milk or bread but as I said limited selection for sure. Or the same chain of stores I never seem to see this problem at Albertsons on Carefree Highway nor Safeway in Anthem. It’s strange.

I live around the corner and literally come to Safeway instead of Fry’s across the street so I don’t have to make extra lefts. This supermarket is quiet and clean and I like the bakery department but for the life of me I don’t understand why it is always understaffed. This morning a perfect example. Stupidly I grab a $5 sale item of a 6 pack of beer to go with my dozen donuts and head to self checkout. Totally get that the machine needs to verify I’m 21 but the lone human working, Mike, seems to be tied up with a customer giving him what looked like 6 coupons for olive oil. After standing there with another lady also stuck in alcohol verifier h*ll, I yell, can someone help us. That gets Mike to come over with a sarcastic comment, “this guy is more important.” I get it, I’m being a Richard, but seriously, you can’t staff a supermarket with more than one person in the morning?

We like Safeway a lot the store is very clean the help is very nice. Once you get used to the app they've got some terrific deals. Everything's a pleasant experience,I would recommend shopping there to everyone.

This Safeway is a great grocery store. Always clean, rarely any bare shelves, fresh produce, large wine/beer/liquor selection, tasty croissants, and a Starbucks inside (and also across the parking lot).This morning near 8am there were no checkout lanes opens, only self-checkout. Perhaps the store is trying to save ~$50 by distributing their operations to their customers?So glad there was a very helpful and kind self-checkout person, because I had 15+ produce items. When no other customers were in the self-checkout, she stood by me and provided the 4-digit code for each produce item, saving me the time of looking each up by name. Very much appreciated!

Very friendly/ helpful Staff.One of the only stores in the area, that I am aware of, that carries a good selection of King Arthur flour; even Rye. Basically a well stocked grocery store. Good location with plenty of parking. Curb side delivery is available.

I work here. I love it. Shop the deals with the For You app and club card and you can get a surprisingly affordable load of groceries. Produce and meat is consistently good and I like the Safeway brands, especially Open Nature and Lucerne. I also like shopping the store, which is just the right size for me, not overly large.

I have been shopping at this location for over 20 years. Before the shopping nearby was developed which includes a grocery store this was the closest one to the house. I've never had an issue at this store, and my wife did most of the shopping during the pandemic but she says nowadays that some of the items are still hard to stock. We probably get 90% of the items at this store and 10% at the nearby store. We get our vaccines at this locations. Unfortunately inflation takes a huge bite (not the store's fault).

Produce selection is excellent quality (and lasts for a while in the fridge). Fresh salmon is always good quality as well. Wide selection of products available (especially cheeses and alcohol). Don't really visit the deli/hot food areas but the sushi tastes alright. Nice that there's a Starbucks inside. And best of all, the employees are all very friendly.

Let me start off by saying that the pharmacists at this Safeway are great. Very friendly and helpful. But one checker has soured me on this store, so I'm taking my grocery-shopping business to the Fry's store across the street. Safeway is one of those businesses that makes consumers use their app to get discounts on product purchases. Most stores have abandoned the use of discount cards or apps because consumers don't like the inconvenience or the privacy intrusion (the stores track your sales). Three products I chose each had $1 off each if you use the app, so I asked the checker how I could install the app to get the $3 discount. "You have to download the app," he said. "Okay, how do I do that?" He was miffed, so I responded, "Well, if you corporation requires people to use apps, then it has to accept the checkout delays that go along with it." He didn't respond but showed me how to get the app. I downloaded it and then he took my phone and selected the items. I assumed the discounts had been applied. But they weren't. I could have gone back to the store to get the $3 refund, but it's too much of a hassle. Easier to switch stores until Safeway drops it app discount program and just issues the discounts to all consumers, including those who do not have smart phones. Another reason for dropping the app program: it discriminates against the poor.

We called the store at 6:30 a.m. to learn if they'd had any paper products come in on their replenishment truck last night. They were polite, ad helpful, taking time to tell us what they did and diid not receive for things we wanted. We headed to the store and the entire experience was FANTASTIC! They were politely controlling the distribution of toilet paper, gave seniors the hour from 6:00 to 7:00 to shop the store - and the flow, manners, and respect from everyone, employees and customers was terrific. They had some empty shelves, yes, but they had great signing, for limited quantities, and when we got to the register, a nice customer reminded us to be sure to keep our space 6 feet from theirs. We appreciated that. Everyone was patient and it all moved along for a smooth, satisfying customer experience without worry about being crowded or exposed. We thanked the people ringing us up for their dedication too and left the store very pleased. Its the way business ought to be running during this time period especially. Thank you Tatum Ranch Safeway!!

The deli is always closed due to staffing issues. Yet there is someone behind the counter majority of the time. The meat department smells bad. Very high priced compared to other stores. Not very friendly either.

Shopped here forever, 20 years. Friendly staff. They are great. But they shut the deli down at 530. Total joke. Can’t get there from work that early sometimes. Trying to feed the kids eh! Figure it out.

$18.99 a pound for snow crab. I bought a pound and a half.Supply chain issues, I get it. Bad food I do not..Half of what I bought was inedible. Smelled of acetone. The other half was not flavorful in the least.. Third Safeway I've tried. This one 9 miles from my home. Thanks for ruining snow crab for me.I would have taken the remaining bit back but it was just too far and I'm too tired after a full day of work. Was really looking forward to that meal. *sigh*Other than that a really nice clean store with friendly employees and a good selection!

I love the Safeway because it is so clean inside. Although it's not huge, it had everything we needed. They're hot food section and pre-made sandwich section is huge and everything there was delicious. We had hot chicken strips, onion rings, and potato wedges and they were super yummy. I love that it has free parking underground

Shop here because it is never busy despite the Summit Safeway beingnot much further for me. Have always liked the staff. Today however the customer service rep (which is kind of ironic) was very rude to me I think I'll go over to Summit.

Just needed 7up.. When I walked in I was confronted by a beautiful floral department.. Bought a scratch off ticket and won $500.00 dollars.. I wasn't sad but happier than I could remember.. Store is clean and well stocked..

Staff is friendly and the store is clean. They are not as well stocked as some of the other larger Safeways on organic items. The fresh sushi is pretty good, better than your average grocery store sushi. The pharmacy is very nice with a private waiting area which helped a lot when I took my kids for flu shots. The Starbucks inside the store was remodeled recently and is easier to order from now, especially on busy mornings. The bakery is great! They have freshly made doughnuts and their cakes are good. I have found some nice gifts in the floral area when I need a last minute present on the way to someone's house!
