Very nice thrift store! Felt more like a boutique than a thrift store - very clean and well organized, lots and lots of variety! Will be a repeat customer for sure.

This is an esthetically nice store, but oh man the prices are out of control. I used to get excited about the 50% off sales, but now it's a gamble. What I mean is imagine driving almost an hour to get to the store only to walk away empty handed due to their high prices. Even on the sale days, you spend up. I once returned a shirt that had flaws, and the manager rolled her eyes, but if I hadn't paid $8 even on sale, I probably wouldn't have bothered to return it. I'm not sure why they call themselves a thrift store.

Awful customer service!! was looking at getting matching rugs and was questioning the price as I thought it was a little too high. I mentioned how you can get the same rugs over at Walmart brand new and one of the manager said "then go shop at Walmart" very rude and unprofessional.

We brought in 2 50 gl bags of clothing, bedding and household items. The man grabbed the bags and walked away. No “Thank you” or even “Would you like a receipt?” We said “You’re welcome” to his back. Still nothing. Our first and last donation to Kiwani’s.

It's clean and organized. A nice thrift store. The staff that I encountered (three different people) were impatient and rude (especially with my youngest boys), which was pretty disappointing.

A large thrift store very clean and organized. Huge variety of merchandise. Signs near the rear pictured many of the good projects for which funds from this store have recently been used, many involving literacy. Adding a few photos to show some of the current selection. This is a moderately priced thrift store with a large clientele and good turnover. Easy to se from the road. I found everything I was looking for and more.

One of the more spacious and open thrift stores in the area. Rooms of different sections at decent pricing. I couldn't believe the affordable pricing on the cabinets and such; too bad we live more than 3 hours away, it'd be a nice haul! It's worth looking for things here first in my humble opinion.3 out of 5 stars because more than a couple of volunteer workers acted rude and condensing toward us and some other patrons. I know volunteer ing for free doesn't guarantee a nice attitude but a little effort goes a long way.

The Carefree Kiwanas Marketplace is an awesome blend of retail, restaurants and fun places to explore. I highly recommend a visit to all!

Items found here are in excellent condition. The prices are thrifty and it's always a pleasant shopping experience. I frequent here sometimes just for fun. The service team is always pleasant and gladly assist your needs.

STICKER SHOCK! This place used to have great deals on cool stuff, but their pricing has become cost prohibitive. I always donated my good cool stuff here, and found the same, but their prices have reached Antique Store or Specialty Consignment shop levels. Really disappointing

This place is probably one the cutest thrift shops in the area. It has so many things inside from furnitures to clothes, dinnerware to antiques and electronics. My favorite part is their book section! They have collectibles, newly released books and all kinds of interesting genres. Also, the books are rarely used so they are very good priced by a bunch! If you love hanging on to a book instead of returning them to the library, check out this place! Instead of Barnes & Nobles, I bought some of favorites from here. Their staff is very friendly and helpful as well. I am sorry for those who experienced the opposite, but that wasn’t the case for me :)

Everything were donated so there is no cost to them except the fixed cost yet the price is very high which is not suitable for people who shops at "thrifty" shop. It feels too greedy to us even for the good cause compare to other thrifty shops. We donated few times and we were shock how much they were asking for those items we donated. After 5 weeks, we can see it's still sitting out there. Really too bad!First review by me with less than 5 stars. All reviews by me have 5 stars (since I only point out the good things) except Kiwanis Market place in Cave Creek.

I would have to say the majority of the folks working at Kiwanis are very unfriendly people. Today, I decided to retry shopping at the store. 50% off framed artwork was the sale that the store was running. I picked up a framed piece of stain glass art. Get up to counter and the checker very rudely says this piece is not considered framed art. So I said,"How can stain glass not be considered art and this piece is framed and I found this piece with all the other framed art." Nope, not considered art or framed art. So, the checker calls the manager. The manager was just as persnickety as the Checker. (You know the blonde gal that wears the cowboy hats that thinks she is the bomb) Yes that manager, is extremely rude. I ended up leaving the store and told the checker to put all my other items back.. I choose to shop at places that the folks are friendly and a store that honors its sale items. That piece of stain glass was framed and stain glass is considered an art form. Please consider changing the signs. Your wording is confusing. Or at least put on items that your are not considering for your sale that those items are full price. Ridiculous!!!

There’s always interesting stuff and the prices are fantastic. I come here for this reason. What makes this place very unattractive for me is the volunteers. They come off as judgmental and do not treat all demographics with equal kindness. For example, I was looking at an item, when a male worker with a male customer decide to stand directly in front of me, cutting me off completely and clearly, and did not acknowledge my presence in the slightest. I couldn’t help but be super irritated…I can understand how this sort of interaction could be viewed as acceptable in a point in time, but it is 2021 and this behavior is no longer ok.Kiwanis, please consider training your volunteers with more awareness and regard for all people.

I have been going up to the shop for a few years now and usually buy quite.a bit. Went there yesterday with the friend and was absolutely shocked how high their prices are now. Why does everything have to be priced so high when it's donated. Don't you want to get rid of it and move it to make more profits? I probably would have walked out of their with at least a dozen things but ended up putting things back because of the prices. I bought one audio book and only paid $5 because I really wanted to listen to it. I usually pick them up at goodwill for 2.29. I guess the store is getting geared for only only the wealthy. Such a shame even if the money goes to a good cause.

I was actually quite impressed with this place. I only bought a few little things for my daughter but their prices were good (and included tax!) and the quality of their items was actually pretty good. Made me want to look in the other thrift shops in the area had it not been so late.

This is just my opinion based on my experience going here over the past few years. Kiwanis is an amazing place. There’s cool stuff coming in everyday. I wish I could give it five stars but the atmosphere is very down. The volunteers seem miserable. They treat customers so badly that they make people not want to come back. I’ve heard this from various people. Like me they kept going back because of all the cool inexpensive finds. Why is the moral so low here?

As a thrift store, it is hit or miss. Many days there’s only junk and boring items of little value. Yet, on other days they have some pretty dandy stuff. My favorite part of the store is the seasonal section where they have built an entire enclosed space devoted to Christmas decorations of which have a good price tag. I have found some good deals in that section as well as other parts of the store.

Thrifting is a lot like panning for gold. Some streams are better than others, and Kiwanis is consistently one of the best! They get a lot of donations, and sell through quite a lot of merchandise, which means there's always something cool and new to see. The furniture selection is almost always awesome, like really really good, and they always have a HUGE amount of housewares and knick knacks to choose from. What makes them stand out to me is the people. Every one there is awesome! Especially Glenn or rather uncle Glenn. He always has a treat your your furry friends, and his welcome and smile at the front door truly makes you feel... welcome. The hospitality of this place makes you feel at home every time you walk in the door; it's a true Cave Creek gem!!

This is an awesome store with lots of great buys. You'll find many slightly used, or even new treasures there for good prices. The staff is friendly and the store is attractive and well-organized. There's a large variety of items and the proceeds go to help children. Take a walk through and see what amazing treasures you can find!

I love that Kiwanis help the community. My experience of being told the merchandise displayed directly in front of cash desk was not for sale YET, was ridiculous. It looked like tags were cut off. Must be an old control freak worried that a volunteer wouldn’t be able to redress mannequin. Sell it while you can! I left, went directly across the street to another thrift shop and spent $125! Sorry Kiwanis not good retail sense…

Lots of fun visiting the store - if we weren't having to travel back to the UK we would have bought more! Settled for two $1 margarita glasses. Highly recommend for household furnishings and utensils.

Lots of very nice stuff, everything is nicely used from garden equipment to furniture & clothing set up nice easy to find what you are looking for. The volunteers are sweet people want to help you find what your looking for. If its not there now it might be next week or even tomorrow.

Great place to find good deals if you know your prices, although I think they have some difficulty pricing some items based on cost being the same or less at stores. Things considered, it goes to good cause just the same.

Amazing selection of higher quality items! It would be nice if they had carts rather than just baskets for hauling all those treasures.

The best thrift store I've experienced and I have been thrifting more than 20 years. The best part is the money made by the donation received go back into the community to support children's needs and activities.
