OMG - My dogs, both, have NEVER looked so Great!!!I took my two dogs, Jake and Milly to Desert Dog Spa as I was looking for a new groomer. The last groomer, that I used told us Jake, my Chihuahua mix, was impossible to sit still for a decent cut. Several times he came back half cut and nails ignored. I'm just catching up with this review but no question they will be back for another appointment soon.Fantastic, Caring, Knowledgeable staff. Even my company comments how how great they both now look.Highly recommended to anyone, you won't be sorry!Thank you again for the Fantastic work, Much Appreciated.

Beyond wonderful experience! I have 4 dogs that let me just say are a rambunctious handful. Tara did amazing with all of them. My older boy has a hard time with his nails being done(has never liked his feet being touched), she took the time to make him feel comfortable and at ease which I appreciate. All my pups looked great and seemed very happy to be there which is an awesome thing to see. So happy and thankful to have found this shop!

Taking a 100lb+ German Shepherd to get groomed can be a hassle at some places, but Tara did a great job. He came out smelling like a rose and we all enjoyed our experience. Highly recommended!

STAY AWAY! This lady is unstable and did a horrible job. Read my yelp review for more info (character limit here). Needless to say my dog is traumatized, as am I. This lady called me a liar and said I "needed help" to my face when I addressed some of my concerns- and very calmly might I add. No lady. YOU need help. The groomer I took her to right after, was stunned at the story I told her and felt so bad for both Ava and I. Do not ever muzzle my dogs freaking eyes or man handle her ever again. I left in literal tears seeing how my baby was treated- and IN FRONT of me no less! What goes on when us owners are not there?? Ava is also the FRIENDLIEST little dog in the whole world. Aside from this woman, there is literally not a soul she has met and instantly loved, even now at age 3. That was my first red flag, when Ava did not even attempt to say hello or do a proper greeting, and I felt awful for not leaving right then and there. She knew instantly this lady is a bad vibe, because dogs can ALWAYS tell!Update: *You made NO attempt at any bond, which is why my dog was petrified of you. I was too. Both my mother and I were actually afraid you would try to hurt us upon our leaving. Mental illness is nothing to be ashamed of, but please leave people's poor fur babies out of this.

Excellent. My dog, Katy, has no problems visiting Tara for a spa session. She looks beautiful when I pick her up and very relaxed. Best doggy beauty shop around Cave Creek and Carefree.

We have brought our dog to various groomers for the last 10 years and have never had as bad of an experience as we had at this place. When we dropped our dog off the staff person quoted us around $75, but when we went to pick up our dog they said $95, and they didn't include nail trimming. Our dog's ears and tail look like the groomer just kind of gave up 1/2 way though the job. Bad service, Bad attitude, Bad haircut.

She grooms all my dogs and she is so good with them,there are people like Micheal Jordan that were born to do what they do ,she is just that, meant for this ,you will be hard pressed to find a groomer of the caliber,who brings it everyday absolutely phenomenal, don't believe me ,try her prove me wrong ,you will be more the pleased ..thanks for all the hard work tara .........
