I get the need for an appointment and had set one. Unfortunately, the only available times were during work shifts so I opted to take an earlier time if someone should cancel. I've been sick for a week with an apparent sinus infection and it's only getting worse. I do not have insurance or a primary care physician so this is my cheapest option. I was sitting in the waiting area since I was already there and figured I'd save on gas. Saw an elderly gentleman cancel his appointment and he tried to suggest his slot for me. The woman smiled at him and said, "We're still booked for the morning. She won't be seen until after 3pm" I tried to tell her my shift starts at 2pm and ends at 5pm.....her response was less than professional. "That's not my problem" and walked back into an empty room and put the patient visit in progress sign on the door. There was no patient in there...

This is the best pharmacy in the area. They're always fully staffed and have my prescriptions ready. I drive out of my way to come to this particular location because they're on the ball! Great pharmacist too!

Don’t go to minute clinic as they said they accepted my insurance which is clearly a lie as I am being billed for the service I received as out of network. Per insurance check on minute clinic portal my insurance is accepted. Don’t call their customer service line they are completely incompetent and unwilling to fix the errors. Provider I saw was McCabe. Now I’m getting screwed with having to pay out of pocket.

This CVS has always had issues but the last couple of days has pretty much done it for me. Young employees don’t know much and the older employees are extremely rude.Yesterday I tried to pick up my wife’s Rx but it wasn’t ready even after she had received the text it was. So I came back to pick it up and they were closed for lunch at 1:00 pm even though it was 4 minutes til 1:00 pm. So I came back later giving myself more time. Got there at 5:50 pm and they were all closed up. Supposed to be open until 6:00. So now I’m going back this am but calling first. Guess what…..nobody answers. Hahaha. I’m done with this pitiful company.

Should be an option to leave zero stars. Don is rude and not helpful... and he's the pharmacist. He was supposed to call Frys to transfer a prescription for me on Tuesday... and didn't... I called back today (Friday) since I never heard back and Don said Frys hasn't responded. I called Frys who said Don has a history of not doing what he says and they never received a call or fax. I called CVS back and spoke to TJ who said we'll send them another fax. What century are we living in. I told TJ the pharmacist at Frys is expecting her call, if she could please call. She said she'll see if she can get around to later today but can see they sent Frys another fax 40 minutes ago (Which I just confirmed that Frys didn't receive). Zero urgency, zero care for a patient who needs their medication. Unbelievable.

I typically don’t write reviews but this CVS pharmacy is so bad I was compelled to inform others. I had a choice of pharmacies when I relocated to the area. I decided on this location since it is only a mile from my house. I will be transferring my prescription to another pharmacy for the following reasons;- The pharmacy assistant (cashier) and pharmacist are extremely rude and condescending. I understand the need to be thorough in dealing with each customer given the nature of their jobs but to be slow and rude goes beyond acceptable behavior. I’ve witnessed on many occasions two or three individuals working behind the counter on their computer while people are standing in line.- A few months ago I dropped by for a flu shot. I was told to have a seat. After 15 minutes I approached the cashier (yep, the same one mentioned above) about the shot. She was extremely put out when I inquired how much longer I would need to wait. I was told to come back in 45 minutes. I checked in with her when I returned and was told once again to wait. I sat in the waiting area for an additional 35 minutes directly in front of the cashier. She seemed not to care about my wait. Finally, the pharmacist reluctantly came out behind the counter to give me the shot. He was in and out so quickly that I was unable to ask any questions.- My last visit to the pharmacy was unusually slow with the rude cashier. I received an email survey from CVS. I don’t quite know why but I completed the survey. A few days later I received a response from the individual responsible for the pharmacy. He requested a time when we could discuss my experience over the phone. I provided the important information and date/time I would be available. No Response, No Call. No wonder the negative experience at the pharmacy when the manager is unprofessional.-

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Rude pharmacy employees who act like you're wasting their time. Showed up for a scheduled vaccine only to be told that all appointments were cancelled. We were not notified. I'm a small business owner. If I treated customers like that, I wouldn't have any. Unless you're dying of thirst and buying a bottle of water, go somewhere else.

This CVS Pharmacy is sooooo slow. It has been 2 days since my prescription was sent to them to be filled and each time I've called I've been told "we'll get right on it and call/text you when we're done." 48 hours later and no text/call. I'm glad I'm not dying! The people are nice and never rude when I call but service has to get better, especially since people are trusting you with their wellbeing.Note: Still no call/text about medication and I've been waiting to speak with a representative for 15 minutes 🙍

K. Mccabe: Ageism is discrimination. Treat every patient with the same level of respect and care. In addition, if one patient arrives early enough to complete the check-in process, as instructed by CVS, then their appointment should not be pushed back to accommodate another patient who arrives late. Be kind, do not be rude, do not expect the next patient to have the time to have their appointment pushed back, and certainly DO NOT SHAME THE PATIENT WHO DOES NOT AGREE TO THIS ACCOMMODATION. Once finally seen, do not be rude to the patient who had their appointment pushed back to accommodate another. I recognize that the care I was given was halfhearted due to this scenario. That wasn't fair, it was shaming, and my body paid the price from the aloof care I received. I certainly paid the bill in full, so I also recognize that this review likely will vanish since you got your money (the top end of the cost scale).

Had a covid rapid test scheduled 13 days in advance for a scheduled trip that required it on a specific day. Received a message a day prior to the test that it was CANCELED! Spoke with the minute clinic & was told it was because a staff member wasn't coming to work. All other sites were booked up. No effort to fit us in at another site or any other solution. What a nightmare this caused a day before our trip! Unacceptable customer service.

My provider was booked for several weeks and I had a severe cold. Missed several days of work. I just needed the provider to fill out one form of Family Medical Leave paperwork. I called the call center and the CVS rep who answered told me the provider at the CVS minute clinic would fill out the paperwork. When I arrived I was told no they do not do that. Did I mention I drove over 12 miles to get this CVS location? The on staff provider at CVS did not seem to care.

My son was scheduled to receive a COVID-19 vaccine today at this Cave Creek location, and he was turned back with the explanation that he does not have a confirmation email with him. His phone died on the way and he was unable to show a confirmation email to the person working there! And nowhere on that email is written that he needed to do so!? He had all other necessary identification documents that could be used for the verification purposes, and that was listed (Driver license and Insurance card). In today's era of technology I cannot express how disappointing is the fact that no one there was able to use just a little of the brain they may have to find him in the appointment records. So, yes, be aware that you may be denied scheduled service if you don't bring that piece of paper with you. There is a lot to improve within this vaccination program. But, knowing CVS, I simply doubt!

I went to this cvs to get both my covid 19 vaccine shots... I have to say that I'm unhappy with the service. The second shot was apied by Kristy Foote, who I have to say, wasn't professional. Main reasons are, she didn't confirm with me that the vaccine she would be administering was pyzer as my first shot, second, in the record says it was applied to my left Deltoid, while both vaccines were applied onto the rigtt Deltoid, and last, after she administered the vaccine, I asked her were I needed to wait, and she said I could leave, that I didn't needed to wait.... And it was my understanding that is important to stay for a bit to make sure there aren't side effects.

I take prescription testosterone, like many people. Summit Male Medical is a wonderful place to deal with if this is an issue for you. Regardless, the needles SMM sends with the testosterone are a little larger than I would like. I simply prefer a smaller needle. So when I filled my prescription, I asked if I could buy some smaller needles. CVS told me they needed a prescription, and that the law required it. THEY LIED. The law says anyone can buy syringes and needles. My doctor told me to use a different pharmacy. If they lie about this, do I trust them to give me the right medical information? NO. Go somewhere else.

Whenever I call the pharmacy I am always on hold for a minimun of 15 min. One time I even called the regular store to ask what was up because they kept me on hold for so long. The store told me they were sorry and did not know what the hold up was since they were not busy. The staff has always been nice when I actually get a hold of thrm though.

The head pharmacist will snap at you for inquiring about government issued PPE. Even if you’re asking a different employee he will chime in just to be mean spirited. The head pharmacist also does not wear a mask even though the rest of the pharmacy team does. Extremely unprofessional way to run a pharmacy, does not lead by example.

I called this pharmacy to get my prescriptions transferred here and the pharmacist was extremely rude and did not assist me or explain what was happening with my medications. Sounds like the type of guy you want to ask medical questions to right? Not the pharmacy for me.

Poor customer service! Especially the Pharmacy. They're non responsive and ridiculously slow. I get text that my prescriptions are ready but when I get there; they say we're waiting on approval. Why text me saying they're ready?

Really awful pharmacy. They tell you it'll be ready by a certain time and it NEVER is. Avoid this place at all costs. Just go to Fry's a little north. MUCH better.

Thank you CVS for incorporating "organic snacks", from the survey taken part in. Thank you for the opportunity to stay connected online as well as in person, and for encouraging people to explore everything CVS has to offer.

Live at the Highlands for 16+years and CVS is a great store to walk to... Cause you know when you get there you get great help finding the closest thing you're looking for if you don't find exactly...🤔🌞
