The staff is very good especially the outside guys who do an amazing job when they come and do hay deliveries for my family. They stack the hay perfectly and always rotate our hay no questions asked. Inside lady’s are always nice and are always able too help answer any hay or feed questions I have. An amazing store with an even more amazing staff.

I've shopped here several times for a variety of items and always had the absolute best customer service! Anything from hay to take with me to a horse show to lunge lines, tack and soap for bathtime, they have it all! They also support local businesses and have products available for you to purchase from those businesses. It's a wonderful place to browse or shop, check them out if you are ever in the area!

This is the best feed store out there!!! It’s definitely your one stop shop for anything horse, cow, or show animal related!!! And the best part is it’s family owned and operated!!!! I won’t shop anywhere else!!!

Waited a long while to post with the ownership change. Let’s go over the high points.Staff - rude, lacking basic knowledge and seem to more concerned with looking good in front of the cameras that were installed to watch them.Pricing - much higher pricing on all goods, seem to be focused on getting the last dime out of the customer who will only be in the store once.Hay - after buying bales that were light. Started to weight them, lowest on a 3 string were about 75 lbs.. some were heavier, but none of the bails weighed had exceeded 90lbs.Overall - I would recommend saving your time and hard earned money…

Beware of burmuda you buy from them. Black mountain sold to Santa Maria feed. Burmuda quality very inferior. You are charged for top quality green fresh horse burmuda But you get low quality dry brittle cattle burmuda with foreign material inside. Long thick stems. From other crops on field.I called them & was told they’d call back. They did not. So I’m stuck with $600 worth feed that could hurt my horses. Most feed stores would come pick it up & replace it. They did not even return my call. So all I can do is warn others.UPDATE 24 hrs later. Owner of feed store did finally call back after reading review.She said she would replace the 15 bales I bought. Within few hrs she came to my farm with the Delivery truck. She sent me pictures of the new hay she was going to replace with since I couldn’t be there. Much better than original hay. Others at farm agree replacement was improvement.Owners effort after review was very good.We’re all happy with replaced hay.

Pricey but overall a good shop! When I'm in a pinch for weird or uncommon tack items I can usually find them here when ace or petclub don't carry them. Friendly service and GREAT sales sometimes! Got a bosal here maybe a year ago for about $15 due to a sale.

Good friendly service from the good folks at Black Mountain Feed and the best hay prices In the cave Creek area by 3 to 4 dollars a bale , now that's a good deal if say , in fact I'm headed there shortly to pickup a few bales of hay , stop in and get your horse supplies here , you can't go wrong !!!
