I am moving to Europe and needed the health certificate for my dog. The front office ( I can’t think of her name right now)was extremely welcoming when I called to make the appointment and when I got to my appointment. Getting the paperwork in a timely fashion is crucial and nerve-wracking and Dr Forrest was wonderful and extremely patient and reassuring.True caring and customer service is hard to find nowadays - Animal Health Services certainly has figured it out - top notch facility.

Yesterday I had to put my beautiful baby Bailey to sleep. We called the vet we have been taking her to for the past 8 years (she was only 8). They said their next appointment was in a week or we could come in and wait for who knows how long for something to open up. We couldn't do that to ourselves or our dog. They had no compassion or sympathy for us whatsoever. So, my husband called Animal Health Services of Cave Creek. They said they could fit us in right away. They had never seen us before, yet they were so caring and compassionate as I cried my eyes out. It was not easy making the decision to end our dog's life... Dr. Smith assured us we were not bad parents, and we were doing the right thing. I want to say thank you to Dr. Smith and Tamie at Animal Health Services of Cave Creek for treating us with such kindness and compassion. I will never again go back to our old vet.

Just moved close to Cave Creek area from out of state and needed a vet as my dog was attacked by another dog. They got me in right away. Every single employee, including the Dr was amazing. Answered a lot of questions, gave opinions, made suggestions, were polite & knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

I was really happy with the service here. Everyone is very friendly and ready take their time to listen to you and your concerns. They also follow up with you to ensure all your needs where met and to check on your pet to see how they are doing. Great response time through texting as well.

My dog Dahlia is my pride and joy. In October of 2020 we almost lost her to IMT. The care here was excellent and they're incredible responsive and communicative. I've stayed here ever since. Her original vet that was here has since left but their remaining vets are good too.

Met Dr. Erb for the first time. He was very good with my timid , aging dog. He did not push unnecessary blood work as is often the case on an annual visit, especially with an aging dog.

Brought my 6 month old Cane Corso to Animal Health Services for an injury to her hind leg. She was unable to put weight on it and was limping around.Dr Erb and Dana, the vet tech, were amazing with her. Their calm demeanor and approach made the experience so easy.They were conservative in their approach and very considerate to my input and concerns for my pup!I highly recommend and will continue to utilize their services!

I would highly recommend this office to anyone! It had been a couple of years since I brought my pets here. The office got me an appointment same day. Our great dane was treated by Dr. Erb. He had great communication and bedside manner. We were able to schedule a surgery within 2 days of our initial appointment, and their prices were extremely reasonable (actually about 3 times less than a vet quoted us in Anthem). Dr. Erb called me directly before and after surgery to explain how everything was going. I feel like the staff here really cares about the pets and their owners!

I love and trust all the vets and staff here. They are very professional and truly care. The place is clean bright and professional. The staff is efficient and the vets are wonderful. I have brought my miniature poodle here since he was 14 weeks old. They have cared for him and saved his life on one occasion.

This was my first visit to Animal Health Services of Cave Creek. My dog saw Dr. Smith. I was very impressed with him. He explained everything to me and reassured me about my concerns. I was amazed how hands on Dr. Smith was. He performed a lot of the procedures that another vet might have relegated to a tech. He was very involved. I was also happy that he let me hold my dog during the exam and procedures - trusting me that it would be a better experience for both the dog and the vet if I did (years of experience)! I highly recommend them.

The receptionist was nice, friendly and professional. The doctor was cold, mechanical and had an arrogant attitude. Nobody in the whole clinic greeted, interacted or comforted my dog. I paid for a wellness check and Dr. Forrest had my dog out of the room for three minutes tops. No ACL check, no eye exam, not blood pressure test, not skin exam. A longer review was out on Yelp, this site won't take the whole review. Look elsewhere to take your pet. Except for the receptionist, the place is cold, unfeeling and very unfriendly. Taking my dog back to where is loved, treated well and he loves everyone. Moved across the valley, but the drive will be worth it to return.My dog hated it there, always listen to your dog!

Worst place ever!!!!! They had a female vet there who put down my dog by putting a gas mask on him and going in thru his spine, like a spinal tap. I couldn't hold my beloved dog and he was in complete fear. I've NEVER GOTTEN OVER THEM PUTTING HIM DOWN IN THAT BARBARIC WAY WITHOUT ME HOLDING HIM. I hate this place! He was staring at me in fear from several feet away. I didn't know that wasn't normal but I know now that no vet does that! She took away my chance to reassure him and hold him as he died as she painfully stabbed him in the back I hate this barbaric place!!!

poorly managed office; no communication amongst staff; no continuity of care; this used to be great place before ownership changes now its like jiffy lube. rushed and trying to find things wrong to charge for—very impersonal and does not leave me at all with any confidence. will look for another vet. Dr. Forrest is fantastic and should go out on her own and many would follow her.

Excellent staff! They know how to care for dogs even my scared pup that barks a lot. Dr. Smith is one of the best. He helped diagnose my dog’s rare disease and save her life. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

My husband and I brought our dog here a little over 5 months ago to be spayed. The only health issue she previously had was an occasional ear infection. After surgery, she was released as okay. She didn’t look okay, but we trusted the vet, so we took her home. Our girl died a few hours later. The staff at this facility did not provide the care our girl needed/deserved. Unfortunately, that’s all I can say because of Google’s Review Restrictions. I’m hoping Google will allow this limited review to be posted because I believe it’s Important for others to see. Pet owners, please take your pets elsewhere to be spayed/neutered, preferably to a facility that will monitor them long enough to ensure that they are actually okay when they are released back into your care.

We had to put our dog down and entire staff was so helpful and sympathetic. Dr Smith helped us throughthe procedure and we can’t say enough about him.He made an excruciating situation the best it could be. He helped us to understand we had made the best decision for our precious dog.. We can’t say enough about about how kind and compassionate he is and was to us…. 💔

Today was our first visit to Animal Health Services and it was a wonderful experience for me and my cat Tommy. Vanessa gave us a friendly welcome. Pam and Dr. Wyman took time to get to know us and understand the reason for our visit. Tommy purred like a motor most of the appointment! Dr. Smith was so compassionate as he helped guide me through both my shi tzus euthanasia. The time I was allowed with both (1 1/2 years apart) was needed, understood and felt. It made what was the most difficult time in. my life a little bit easier. My dogs have always received love here as well.

When one of my doggies decided he wanted to eat a toad in the middle of the night, I didn't know what to do as he was struggling to breath. I found Animal Health Services online and as soon as we walked in the door, they had a team ready to save him. They followed up with the same service on my other puppy who decided to go a round or two with a coyote or two. Watching them work on my puppies when it was an emergency, made us feel like we could / should trust them with their regular care. We've enjoyed every visit and how the staff has gone out of their way to show how much they care about animals, our animals. This, combined with the 24 hour emergency care, made it easy to cancel our monthly well maintenance plan with the big-box vet and move everything over to them.
