Moved to camp verde about two years ago hardly ever shop here. But when I do, specifically anytime later than 5pm the man working harasses us, maybe he’s on the spectrum and misses those social cues but maybe he shouldn’t be the only person working, the first time we encountered him we were looking for cold medicine asked him where about in the store we could find such thing. Once directed he left his spot in the back of the store where he was hiding and started stocking right where I was looking basically pushed me out of the way, made me feel uncomfortable as a women, my guard is always up around men acting out of the ordinary, made me immediately want to leave, which we did, but when trying to purchase the product, we were accused of stealing, he asked us if we wanted to buy the personal items in our hands that we walked in with. Maybe that’s why he was being weird he thought we were stealing?? Idk. Thought I’d never go there again but this is a small town, I just wanted a candy bar and figured it be cheaper there than a gas station, no other customers are in the store when we walk in, no workers spotted, go to the candy isle I’m there looking for a couple of minutes and that same guy from the last time comes right up behind me in my personal space as im right up against the shelf (perfect amount of space to share with other customers passing by) but the worker feels the need to be so close I couldn’t even turn around I had to scoot over, I guess turns out he was sweeping and instead of waiting a couple of seconds maybe minutes for the customer to finish looking they pushed them out of the way, there are a lot of people who act like we’re living in their world. Please be respectful to others, yes your at work, yes you do work here, but it’s the customers that keep these places open, let’s work together instead of against. Once again there’s a possibility this guy is on the spectrum, nothing wrong with that, but maybe management should talk to him about his customer service help guide him in the right direction so he doesn’t upset the wrong person working there all alone from at least 5pm to close. I forgot to mention but the same day with the last incident I came and encountered a different worker, don’t know the names this man had glasses. 10/10 to him, greeted us when we walked in, was ready at the register when we wanted to check out didn’t have to go on a scavenger hunt like with the other guy, and wasn’t harassed by him at all. This is what’s prompting me to write a review the fact that it’s literally just the one worker that seems to have a problem with us.

Rick has no idea what the heck his doing at his job , wanted 2 simple balloons kept bringing me ones I didn’t ask for , second he didn’t even know how to blow them up

This Family Dollar had a lot of things, even food wise, lots of snakes, cookie's, chocolates, hard candy and cake snacks, doughnuts, pastries, chips, crackers, assorted sodas, fruit drinks and some real food items. Very impressed with the selections and of course the team members without whom the store couldn't function, my thanks to all of you that work at Family Dollar, you always make my shopping very pleasurable, you keep the store clean and stocked so well and I appreciate your great customer service too.

The staff is helpful. The manager is always working just as hard as the cashiers/stockers. The prices are great! I always get all my cleaning products and laundry supplies here. I usually get some hair supplies and cosmetics here also. I would like to see a more diverse ethnic hair care selection, like the Family Dollar stores in the Phoenix metro area.

This particular Family Dollar store in Camp Verde, I am very pleased to give my business. The manager, James does an exceptional job of keeping it neat, clean and in order. Always stocked, and not all the clutter in isle's that you experience in so many of chain stores like this. It's pleasant to go in and shop. That's why five stars.

Asked the cashier if my digital coupon worked on the laundry soap she said yes when I looked at the receipt it didn't and I asked about it again and asked if there was someone I could get to fix it she said she was the only there when I walked past three other employees in the store she didn't seem to care and just shrugged me off I left unhappy they never have shelfs stocked or organized any more can't find what I'm looking for think I'm going to stop doing business there

One of the best dollar stores I have been to. Very clean all the time. Shelves are very neatly stocked. Lots of seasonal items and very pleasant place to shop. Manager does one terrific job!!!

Usually have whatever it is I came there for. Staff is very nice and extremely helpful. They have a good variety of products so very hard to leave there with nothing.
