My boyfriend has used RSK for years and has always loved it. The prices have gone up a bit and the way the kennel is run has changed the last few years, but overall still great. We got the dogs groomed this time due to smelling like urine the last few times we've kenneled them. The dogs looked great after the grooming and seemed calm upon pick up. Overall good kennel choice.

This review is for the trainer. I was recommended to him by someone to help me with my dog that has started to snap. I paid $225 back in April. Two times I was sick, to which the trainer had said he understood and wouldn't charge me. Any other appointment I had I would show up just to be sent away for numerous reasons: I need a new collar (which was $80 and they took and never gave back) or their facility was being remodeled. Or that he had to come up with a plan. He told me my purebred jack Russell was inbred and indifferent and stumped him. He always told me he didn't want to waste my money and to reschedule. I have not received the service I paid for and still have my pup with attitude problems. I feel incredibly take advantage of. So disappointed.

Every time i and my wife visit laughlin, we take our dogs and leave them here! I have even traveled from las vegas to laughlin to leave my dogs here as the veterans send me to California va hospitals for surgery! I trust them here and so should you! ...

They were recommended by a vet standing outside the kennel I talked to a nice lady when I asked her questions about the place she got so pleased to be asked this telling me how wonderful and incredible they are with every patient and client that comes into see them we chose home care for our sweet baby Henry his entire life he is shy and doesn’t like being social with dog owners or strangers Melissa to my amazement got Henry out of hiding but also laying with legs open so she could rub his belly the first day within minutes my favorite most coolest thing she does is send pics each visit T when she is here checking on him and updates on his mood and demeanor she is absolutely amazing I’m in total awe about this family business don’t settle for anything less than the absolute best for your special baby and by the way the lady who raved about them was the inspector

I love taking my dog, Eva, to Risen Star. She is always well taken care of and the same happy dog when I drop her off to when I pick her up. The owners are absolutely wonderful as well as the staff. They really do love your pet just as their own. I cannot say enough about this great place!

We came to the area for a service. It was so hot! I called for last-minute boarding. They had an opening and accepted our dog. On our way out the door, our dog went potty five times (2 #1 and 3 #2) on the way to our truck. I'm concerned that they didn't tend to his potty needs while he stayed. -Regina

If their Facebook page is any indication of what they do, I'd bring my dog anywhere but here. All they do is copy quotes from other reputable dog trainers like K9 in NC and Lionheart K9 in MD, and post those quotes as their own wisdom. In addition to that, they make cute memes. But where's the transparency in showing their own work? They don't have it on their website or on Facebook. Red flag, folks.

Always fantastic with my Great Dane Pup, now 9 months old! She goes for day care, always happy and sleepy whenever I come at end of day, a big bonus! She has been groomed there, looked great, and has stayed over night. The last overnight was because of an emergency.it was a Saturday, week-ends are busy there, but they got her in and she was her happy self come Monday morning. I can leave her there without a worry . I have also taken my Mom's older tiny yorkies She received from a rescue for grooming. They are happy to go and look great also. Would highly recommend !

I was recommended by a friend here in California. And my girl did good there. Had no problems with her going with them. Took her out for a day on the river and then took her back and she was so excited to go back. The associates there were very friendly and good with pets

This place was amazing. They took such good Care of our fur baby Bash. We have left him at another kennel once for 3 days and when we got him back he had lost a lot of weight from not eating and being left in a kennel all day. This place really took care of him and when we picked him up after 5 days he was happy and playful, not depressed like the last place we left him at. We definitely plan on using them again! Thank you to the front desk girl (Aubrey?) And the gentleman who i beleive was the owner (and ex police officer) for making us feel so comfortable with leaving Bash there and taking such good care of him!!!

Great friendly staff whose love of pets shows. We have been taking our dogs there for boarding and each time we arrive their tails start wagging and they start whining in excitement. Once out of the car, they start pulling us along to the office entrance. We feel at ease leaving our little fur kids because we know they are with loving, caring pet lovers.

Over all, very pleased.I made an appointment to have a friends husky groomed here. I use to work at risen star, back when Lori owned it and even looked into employment after the new owners took over, as Lori is the ultimate reason why I had left.. I know the groom room set up, I know the cameras they have I place and felt confident that this was the only place in town I would ever consider having my dog groome, or anyone elses.. Mind you, this husky is two years old, wasn't socialized properly and doesn't care for new people. I had them take note of this when making the appointment.Long story short, she came back half groomed, (at NO fault to the groomer) as I wasn't entirely sure the husky would take to being professionally groomed, but figured since it needed to be done, they where the only place worth taking her too to find out.So unfortunately she didn't get fully groomed, but we where still charged the full groom. This didn't bother us to terribly. Shortly after, the owner himself called us to inform us we shouldn't have been charged, refunded the money. Over all, they did their absolute best with what they could, considering this huskies lack of proper training and socialization. I love this facility.

Great customer service! I was really worried about boarding my cat, but she was okay! She was so confident when we got back home that I know she felt comfortable at the kennel. Aubrey even knew who I was there to pick up and we had only spoken once when I dropped Dot off. Would definitely use this facility again!

We are here for a month. I looked at other doggie daycare in the area and Risen Star is the best. Very professional and friendly. I left my dogs for 6 hours and no problems. I am very happy and will be back.

This is the best place to board your dog. The staff are loving and caring and very knowledgeable. My baby loves going here which makes it so much easier to leave her when need be. Very affordable too. I can't say enough good things about them. Highly recommended.

So hot out had to leave our cat for a few hours while we job hunted. They require shots be up to date which we appreciate. Upon picking her up she was in good spirits. And the price is very reasonable. Will use them again.

I had been a loyal local for years. When they changed owners my dog still needed grooming and they did a great job. 12/07/19 I decided to take my new puppy in for Daycare. As a Casino Employee I needed to drop him off just before 7AM. There was an attendant there at 6:00 AM. I was informed that they had strict rules; opened at 8:00AM and no exceptions made. These folks obviously do not cater to local needs as before. They will not see my dogs nor me again. Sad Day for Locals and a New Business.
