After shopping around for hay for my livestock, I found Bales to have the best. It is a little drive from my farm in Wittmann to Buckeye but is worth it. I also stop by the Bison store for meat and Blue Sky Organic Farm for fresh produce.

Have been coming here for about a year now. Guys loading, man I couldn't do that all day, nice guys and most respect my truck when loading. Prices are good. Store staff are all polite and friendly.

I was disappointed with an event (10th Annual Green Hatchet Chili) I felt was disorganized and wait time for green chili was it least 3 hours for roasted chili. They did pass out some warm water in this hot day. Looking for large sack of chili was not an option due to not getting there early was really disappointing. But thanks anyway for disappointment.

Best place to get hay, feed and tons of other items! We go here all the time. I especially love the bales shop, they always have cool clothes and accessories. The workers there are always so kind and efficient.

Better quality than other places around.I'm curious why there's an extra charge for covered trailers.Would have tipped the nice guys for loading, had I not spent an extra dollar per bale.

We always go here since we arrived out west a few months ago. Fantastic place, at times some employees are not aware of the types of hay per animal it seems or we are not as descriptive of our needs maybe. So be aware of what some hand you if you are going for horses. One guy who always gets us exactly what we need is Arturo, when my wife drops by he always loads her suv with our exact needs. Thanks for the great service of employees here!

Iv been going here for feed for years now. Always have great prices and the feed is always top notch. On the rare occasion iv received a bad bale they have corrected it with no questions asked. They also have some pretty cool looking shirts and hats. The loaders are always helpful and the office staff are always upbeat and look like they love to work there

Have done business with Bales Hay for the last 15 years.Awesome variety of hay for all your livestock and Horses needsThe customer service is tops from the loaders to the cashier's.Love their T shirt's hats and clothing line.We are all paying more money for Hay ,pellets, and grains.Bales Hay, it's owners went above and beyond about 2 weeks to go on line and address the prices with the public and explain why.the price increases, we the customer can understand why. owner's still do their best to keep a good product and prices down.Thank you Bales family and EmployeesRegular customer.Betsy Rotondo.

I always love to come into the Bales Store to see what's new and usually walk out with a new shirt, hat or trinket of some sort. Great prices on their Tuff hay and assorted horse tack. Love that they sell some local hand made items as well. Thanks for being a great neighbor Bales Hay!!

I have been getting hay from here since the 90's when you had to load it yourself. So today I went to get some of the $18.50 stuff, just needed 16 bales. So I back my trailer up to the stack that I wanted which the top two rolls looked good. But then the guy working there wanted to load me with the squeeze, so ok then. But then he brings me some hay that looked like it been in the weather for over a year,just because he was to lazy to load it by and then trying to give me very poor quality hay. Service is the worst I've seen Mr Steve Bales would be embarrassed

The Bales family is great. Highly recommend. We have bought our hay, chicken feed, pellets, you name it, there for years. Recently moved to Desert Hills area, and yep, we are still going there. Prices are cheaper than feed store. Quality is pretty consistent (blame mother nature for the most of the inconsistencies). Service is great, but busy on Saturdays. They truly care about putting out a good product.

We have a roping cowboy church and needed hay. we asked for number one alfalfa in the large bales. We got back with 4 big bales and they were almost junk. We paid premium prices. Not happy customer. That was our 3rd trip and drove an hour each way. All 3 trips was not good hay. Thought we would give them benefit of the doubt.

Great price. Top quality. And i only get out to pay witch takes no more than 3 min 1 min to walk up and another to walk. Back. I know their always busy but somehow manage to keep it running smoothly the boys that load are always friendly and hard workerz.

Very consistent good hay at very reasonable prices. Great friendly service, variety of hay types and prices to choose from, and in over fifteen years of doing business they have never been out of hay when I show up from 350 miles away. I love doing business with these down home folks.

Worst place to buy hay from!! First of all the hay this place sells isn't fit for equine consumption. The bales are full of weeds and thorns as well as dirt. They charge full price of $12.50 per bale for bales full of air, dirt and thorns. 2nd, when I called down to talk with them about the quality of the hay they were selling the owner/boss completely treated me like I wasn't even a person let alone paying customer! He called me names and accused me of lying. He told me to bring the hay back and he would give me a discount. I really couldn't believe he had the audacity to call me names after I just spent my hard earned money with his company. I want to warn EVERYONE who wants to buy hay from this place to NOT do it! They are terrible and have no respect for people/customers.
